Hello
Please is it advisable to use a ceiling fan of 58W (+/-5W). It's a duravolt fan with a solar set up of 65Ah battery?

Also does charging power bank with the solar set up affect it?

Thank you

Seun:
Dear Nairalanders and Advertisers.

Nairaland's server was taken down by our host's abuse team because of an abuse report that wasn't attended to on time.

After rectifying the error, we brought the server back for a few minutes, but they decided to take the server down again. Since then, we haven't heard from the abuse team, yet the support team keeps insisting that only the abuse team can help us.

So we had to transfer Nairaland to a temporary host in order to bring it back to you. A VERY time-consuming process. We are not fully back, even though most features of the site are working. We still have a long way to go. Additional downtime is likely; don't let it alarm you.

There's a lot more to say, but I have to go back to work to ensure that our return is permanent. Please forgive us for the stress we caused. We appreciate the love and support that you showed us during the ordeal. Nairaland is too important for us to let this happen again.

Best Regards,
Seun Osewa.

Welldone, I followed your progress updates on twitter

My suggestions
1. Measures be put in place to avoid this. Nairaland is big!
2. Adopt a proper team and or CEO. Let it be run as a proper company
3. Employ more mods and deal with tribalism more effectively
4. Ui update plus launch of nairaland app on playstore/apple store

All the best!

Solar installation was just set up in my hostel room

This are the specifications
65ah PS Power Battery
180W solar panel
500W solar inverter
30A Charge controller

My load:
3 bulbs (5W each)
19.5V Hp laptop
Android device

Going through this thread, I've discovered my battery is a dry cell. Please how can I maximise this setup and make it last as long as possible?

Hello

What's the best affordable way to ship to South Africa from Lagos, Nigeria

What logistics company do you recommend

fnep2smooth:
I heard Google has download limit

Yes it does, but it's good for a start and very reliable. You can upgrade to others later

fnep2smooth:
You can use google drive, one drive or dropbox.

Use Google drive and then use www.drivelink.eu.org to generate a direct download link

Let the politicians share whatever and let the voters collect whatever, but vote the right person. With time politicians will get wise and refuse to share anything, then election will become sweet. It is a matter of time.

Actually
Collect their money and don't vote for them lol

ojasweb:
That's too low to consider. But that's also not much to worry about. So you can give it a try.

Thank you

ojasweb:
That's like 10 dollars. Is that a daily budget? And yes, you could get result.

No sir, that's the total budget. Would have gone for fb ads instead but there's no religious targeting again
