Jobs/Vacancies / This Will Inspire Any Job Seeker!!! A Must Read by jaci02: 6:51pm On Apr 28, 2017 |
A Jobless man applied for the Job of
“Office boy” at Microsoft
The HR Interviewed him then
watched him cleaning the floor as a
test
“You are employed” He said. “Give
me your E-mail Address and I’ll
send you the forms to fill in as well
as when you may start
The Man replied “But I don’t have
computer, neither an Email.”
“I’m Sorry”, said the HR Manager,
“If you don’t have an Email, that
means you don’t exist. and who
doesn’t exist, cannot have the Job.”
The man left with no hope at all. He
didn’t know what to do with only
$10 in his pocket.
He then decided to go to the
supermarket and buy a 10 kg
Tomato crate.
He then sold the tomatoes in a door
to door round.
In less than two hours, He
succeeded to double his capital. He
repeated the operation three times
and returned home with $ 60
The man realized that he can survive
this way, and started to go everyday
earlier and return late.
Thus his money doubled or tripled
everyday.
Shortly, He brought a cart, then a
truck, then he had his own fleet of
vehicles.
5 years later, this man is one of the
biggest food retailers in the US.
He started to plan his family future,
and decided to have a life
insurance. He called an insurance
broker, and chose a protection plan.
When the conversation was
concluded, the broker asked him his
email. The man replied “I don’t have
an email”
The broker answered curiously,”You
don’t have an email, and yet have
succeeded to build an empire. Can
you imagine what you could have
been if you had an email?!”
The man thought for a while and
replied,”Yes, I’d be an office boy at
Microsoft” 2 Likes 1 Share |

Geofavor: You're right in a way. Sometimes I do want people to be interested in me, my personality. Honestly, at times I desire friends and friendship and at other times I try to convince myself that I'm better off. I hate crowded places only when I'm in a church program do I accommodate the crowd. I don't like parties because I discourage unsolicited attention. I work with people everyday so I have no difficulty in communicating. I agree I'm not so good in socialising because I hardly meet people who share the same interests with me. Shallow-minded people tend to bore me. Funny enough I come off as being hard, a bit arrogant and too serious if people were to give their opinion. But deep down inside I'm so easygoing with a beautiful mind. People judge me before they get to know me. It's true. There are certain category of people I open up to completely: with children I'm totally me. 2 Likes |

Geofavor: Yes I'm reserved but I'm very good in relating with people when I choose to be. I know how to gather information from people and make them share with me their life history. I tend to allow people dominate the conversation while I probe. I've noticed that people love to be heard and listened to and I take advantage of this because I'm a very attentive and good listener. Many people want you to know them but they're not patient enough or inquisitive enough in wanting to get to know you. 1 Like |

They think I'm proud and arrogant because I'm too calm and I hardly talk. My choice of music is odd, I love Rock and other unfamiliar songs so they assume I'm weird. I love my company the most making it unnecessary for me to mingle. I wish to be alone most times because when I listen to people talk I realize that mentally and psychologically we're miles apart and with that they conclude that I'm a snub. Dating is even worse, most people don't know me. I only show them what I want them to see and then they say that I'm too deep without them trying to even scratch the surface. I've come to realize that by being quiet I tend to know people more than they know themselves. most times I feel like exploring the wonders of the world all by myself soaking up the excitement alone. Odd I guess some people will say, when it can be shared. Am I too deep? I love being independent too having my own not relying on anyone except God. At times I question my duration on earth, do I want to get married? do I want to have kids before I leave here? 6 Likes |
Romance / Re: This is the type of woman every man loves to marry. by jaci02: 8:24am On Sep 30, 2016 |
BornInApril: You don't get it then, because the husband loving the wife is the first commandment after which comes submission from the wife. A good marriage is one nurtured in love and trust not with blind submission or fear. You can only submit to someone when you know that person loves you , cares for you and has your best interest at heart. It's like the same thing in the scriptures where Christians are to lay all their cares on the Lord and trust him. Why? Because he loves and cares for us. When a woman sees that you truly love and care for her only then can she submit to you totally trusting you with her life. |
Romance / Re: This is the type of woman every man loves to marry. by jaci02: 7:34am On Sep 30, 2016 |
uzolexis: That's where they're all getting it wrong. Love is the greatest force and not submission or fear. Love can conquer even the hardest heart. When you can love your wife unconditionally just as you love and take care of your own body, there's nothing that can make that can make that woman to ever disrespect you. The reason many get it wrong is because they don't know the true meaning of love. No woman will ever insult a man who can sacrifice the last plate of food for her to eat when they have nothing at home. That's why the Lord Jesus Christ mentioned husbands loving their wives first because he knows many would pick the submissive part first. 2 Likes |

Nelzone: You should be wise, There's no point of comparison between Lucky and Oshiomhole. For a governor to pass a bad road for good 8 years and should not be moved to repair it is not normal. Even if Oshiomhole stole money, at least he repaired the gully erosion at Queen Ede, Ekewan Slope, and Auchi. He repaired a lot of roads, even schools when during Lucky's tenure trees were growing inside the classrooms with rain pouring on the children. Even though Oshiomhole didn't do much, for him to have the good mind to do what he did he deserves to be applauded. All PDP supporters in Edo State should please mention at least one thing that Lucky Igbinedion or Professor Osunbor did in Edo State during their 10 years reign. |

Doyin2: Just leave them, all these young boys and girls on Nairaland know nothing about where Edo State was during the 8 years Lucky was governor and the 8 years Ize Iyamu was SSG under him. The Igbinedion family ruled the state supported by their thugs Kabaka and Bob Izua. Nobody could talk bad about the government, there was no freedom of speech. But just following the 8 years Oshiomhole has been governor not one day PDP did not insult, raise allegations or badmouth his administration. This was something that no one could dare do during PDP's tenure. Just for that freedom alone to be able to criticize the government I will support APC. This is not about Nigeria as a whole, this is about Edo State and we know which party has worked in Edo comparing the 8 years of PDP and the 8 years of APC. People Deceive People (PDP) was the name the so called Pastor Ize Iyamu called PDP when he decamped to APC during Oshiomhole's second Tenure campaign thus, they should never be allowed to rule Edo State again, because it's the same thing as Ize Iyamu's boss and godfather Lucky Igbinedion coming back as governor. 1 Like |

It's most likely that this marriage will end in divorce or the she might have to live with her mistake for a long time because I doubt this man will give her a divorce. Everybody in Benin knows the Igbenedion family. They are corrupt, full of thieves and lies. The mother of this girl is from Jamaica and has only 3 daughters for Igbenedion. This is not the first high society marriage they have done. The Oba of Benin's Nephew Prince Akenzua also made a similar mistake of marrying the eldest daughter Omosede. That marriage was master minded by Igbenedion himself because of his selfish desire to penetrate into the Oba's household. The marriage lasted only two years with one son. The divorce was messy and the case is still in court because of the allegations of theft levelled against the daughter and father. But everybody in Benin has forgotten about it, they even welcomed her back a girl not up to 35 years already a divorcee and still she won the 2015 election into the house of Representatives and now she's an honourable member there. The people of Edo State should be wise there's nothing good that comes from this family. Nobody affiliated to them should be allowed to rule the state. Ize Iyamu was secretary to the State Government for 8 years under Lucky's Igbenedion tenure. There was no progress in that State during his 8 years rule. Now there's a big difference between their time and Oshiomole's time. People can complain and say that things are harder now in Nigeria because of the economic recession this country is going through as a result of APC 'so president Buhari BUT you can't say because of Buhari's government then PDP should come back to Edo State. The developmental changes in Edo should not be compared with the whole country. We in Edo State know who worked and who didn't. So people of Edo State your judgment should be fair come 28th of September when you cast your vote. This same Esama of Benin was the one that said this during Lucky's campaign for reelection in 2013 "when a child fails to be promoted to the next class, he should be allowed to repeat that class so that he can pass" . And that was how Edo people blindly reelected Lucky for his second tenure. Edo people please do not make this same mistake. 3 Likes 1 Share |

No wonder Nigeria is still the way it is after so many years. It's this kind of act that makes black men to be tagged as primitive, undeveloped and barbaric. If you crave meat so bad what stops you from rearing livestocks? Instead we want to deplete the natural wildlife reserve we have. That's why western countries are more developed, because they don't just kill everything that crosses their path. The have common sense enough to know that there has to be a balance in the ecosystem, for all species of living things to survive. It's like saying because guns are harmful then all guns in the world should be destroyed, because you fear one day you would be killed by one. Same thing goes for these wild animals, you can't just kill them at every opportunity because you fear them even when they didn't physically attack or threatened you. The God that created them made them for a purpose, you do not know the unforeseen consequences their obliteration from nature will cause us. So let's all behave like higher creatures as we call ourselves and begin to think more of developing, sustaining and nurturing the natural resources we have. That's how we develop and grow as a nation enough of senseless killings both of human and animal life. Ironically, it's almost like the same attitude we have towards each other that's what we're exhibiting towards these animals "kill or be killed". And that is wrong. |

Many young male youths in Nairaland often open topics and threads with derogatory comments and posts about Nigerian young ladies calling them cheap, gold diggers and and all sorts. Do you know why some of these ladies are like that? Many of them come from the type of background and history this child now has. Some of them were sexually molested, harassed and raped when they were growing up. That's one of the deadliest damage a girl-child suffers when growing up. Many of them grow older becoming promiscuous (because they have little self-esteem and feel violated to the point of no value). They are constantly reminded by their past abuse that they aren't virgins anymore so they feel (what's the point of protecting something that you don't even have anymore). Then you wonder why they're so loose and sleep around indiscriminately. Mind you, more than 90% of sexual abuse cases are never reported we only get to know about just the few that makes headlines. Another issue is that it can cause withdrawal and reclusive behaviors in some of these ladies when they grow up. They have no interest for men and are indifferent to sexual advances from men. For some, they begin to develop feelings for the same sex, (because they feel more secured physically and emotionally when they're among other ladies). While for others, God just helps them when they give their lives to him and he heals their pain. And they become normal enough to live everyday without you and I ever knowing their past history of sexual abuse. It's a pity that the life of a girl-child is held with so little value in Nigeria. Many of the culprits go unpunished. Nigeria has a very high population of pedophiles with destructive tendencies. And who's the victim here, our female babies (in some cases) and daughters. May God help us protect them. |

Congratulations. But why is the guy wearing a dark shaded glasses? The wedding took place in an enclosed building so why the goggles? Nigerians like copying styles and other people's behaviors even when it's wrong. Because Dbanj wears dark goggles for his music videos and interviews (inside a building and even at night) which is wrong all other artists copy him. Now it has entered wedding ceremonies which isn't cool. Dark goggles are mainly used to protect ones eyes from sunlight and for special cases for those who are blind. It doesn't look nice when you're wearing it for no reason most especially inside a room or a dark enclosure. It's not fashionable either for wedding ceremonies. At least you're getting married you should be able to look into the eyes of your spouse and your guests and vice versa. It's like bringing back the old days when General Sani Abacha was always on goggles. And look how he ended! Anyway Congrats to the couple and I hope other intending couples don't copy this. |
