Stevostical: See forget practice score ooo, you cannot really recreate exam scenarios. Concentration is actually key, I don't think I have scored up to 36 in practice but I have gotten 8.5 in listening twice, 2017 and last month exam. Pay attention to the instructions so you don't miss out on word count then avoid distractions. Thanks man... |

Queenhadassah: Let me share a few tips with you 1. Make sure you are practicing with the right ielts listening questions because there are lots of listening test online that are unrealistic by unrealistic I mean the audio is faster than it should be. Practice with Cambridge ielts listening test from 1-16 and ieltsonlinetests.com(pls stick to the listening practice tests on the general tests and Academic tests only ) 2. Check out ieltsliz for more tips on listening 3. If you are having issues with the multiple choice type of questions, the solution is to learn how to paraphrase with speed. In most cases the answer will be a paraphrase of what you heard in the audio recording. 4. Concentrate! 5. Check your spelling Thanks dear.. Writing is no issue for me, don't mind the *fools* saying I should check my writing as if thats what I asked.. |

encryptor: @Jackynn....it's not as easy...the reason you are missing marks is because of that 1 or 2% distraction....I got carried away for just 2seconds in the exam and I dropped to band 8 in listening cos I couldn't answer like 3 questions. It's really difficult to concentrate 30mins to time that's just the key Uhmm concentration is key then..but I tend to lose focus way too often. |

Lagbaja88: i never scored up to 30 during practice, but during the actual test i passed listening and reading many times. You cannot recreate exam settings during practice Ehnn now somebody is saying something and being honest..thanks man.. Because I hear some people saying they get up to 40 even in practice and maintain scores between 35-40 when practicing and I'll be asking myself is it not the same Cambridge or YouTube materials I'm also practicing that is so tough especially the YouTube listening, its very difficult to score 35 without repeating the audio talk more of 38 |

mofedamijo: Canada is quite complicated at the moment. Getting in is harder due to Covid restrictions, the processing is quite tedious and longer, same with Australia.
Germany is your best bet for now. Another option is to try the more peaceful African countries that offer a better quality of life. Get their residency then catapult from their to Canada, Australia or Germany.
Please, go legally, and get your residency legally. Please for that of Germany, as of last year when I started pursing it,they placed a rule on cat A and B peeps for getting study visa.. Cat A was 8months while cat B for 2.2 graduates was 12months then.this made me end the hustle because it became useless waiting that long since am a 2.2 grad.. As of now do u know the standings please..have they reduced the waiting period?? |

I also have another question that's bordering me..
When WES recieved the email from my school, for verification.. they acknowledged by saying my documents have been accepted and my Report would be ready on the 23rd of august, that was the estimated time..but fortunately I got a message via email to give my verdict on thier service with the survey monkey. And I can also download a copy of my report if I login to my Acount. I logged in,went to the space to download report and did just that, surprisingly it was my report, they have already evaluated it,the date there was on the 26th of this month, same day they acknowledged that they've accepted. and my timeline was saying...no pending result.all cleared.
So I'm Wondering if I'm to expect any oda report that on the 23rd or if it was a mistake by wes,I'm just confused.. Am I safe?? |

I know someone who sold put all her properties as soon as she got ITA, but since then she hasn't gotten PPR... yet; it's been 3 years or so. Let's live our lives, no one should wait for Canada. What could be the cause for such delays, pls I want to know?? |

Brightfab: Thanks bro for the advice,i actually got my eyes on Germany and Norway, first for the free tuition and secondly availability of renewable energy jobs in both countries. Notwithstanding i will still make research on the above universities you mentioned. Lol,see information when DAT guy give u so about you taking GRE and scoring above 300 since you're a chemist grad is "GOLD".. That should be ur main target now even and not this..search GRE on nairaland and see likeminds then you'll be motivated. U can actually get a full tuition waver, with stipends up to 700-800k every month when converted to naira for PHD positions and maybe 400-500k for MSC if given full funding.. They LOVE chemistry grads. |

Adelove2020: Don't say that. I have seen someone that did worse than you and still got 7. Please try to remark. Forget what you think. Request for remark for only writing. Have u tried all the Cambridge materials or lets say Cambridge 10-15/16.. If not please try them out.. and again, with ur message I'm a bit confused if practicing with Cambridge might nor be helpful if you're registering with MOD or es same thing |

MissMa01: You have asked this question in 4 different ways. Is it the supervisor’s email address that is the problem? If you check cic website it states the documents needed for work experience even page 1 of this thread. - reference letter but payslips, bank statements, tax documents can also be provided. I only have bank statement, payslips what I'm scared of is the fact that the company has no o line presence,e email address or website. That's why I'm asking in this my case what can I do to add up or would d bank statement, reference letter with email or website and payslips suffice?? |
