You are right this argument is stale, apparently you have problems with comprehension too. Your article said men who produce high levels of testosterone during puberty usually develop lower voices(deep) as they grow into adulthood. While women will develop voices that are comparatively high.

Apparently you also don't understand how muscle growth works, muscles that are not frequently used will shrink. So, if a teen was flooded with testosterone during puberty and he developed a deep voice and somewhere along the line stopped the testosterone building activity it would obviously have an effect on his voice.

In case you don't know the vocal cords are muscles and when testosterone levels drop the vocal cords don't have any incentive to grow larger, without drive for growth they shrink and the teen loses the voice. Read and understand your sources before you post links that prove the point of your opposition. And yes doing exercises can increase your odds of growing a beard.

I think I have to apologise for coding this argument in a one sided way from the beginning. Sexuality is programmed by nature and nurture, there are things we are born with and there are certain choices we make along the way. Some joke about it, some even stay up late in night exploring how to ween themselves off their habit. Heroin addicts and hood rats don't go around looking for rehab centers to check into.

And that's the keyword. When does something switch from being a habit to being an addiction (habit is part of addiction, but it isn't necessarily addiction). Psychologists are still contemplating whether food addiction is a thing. It's not set in stone yet, but there's still on-going research (some of which are giving preliminary positive results). And that's why they are the experts and we listen to them. When the body of research overwhelmingly supports the notion of food addiction (or eating addiction), it wouldn't be a charlatan that'd sound the bell. If preliminary porn research isn't giving any positive results that porn is an addiction (rather than a self-indulging habit), then why are you so transfixed on making your opinion a fact without evidence.

That is the issue. If there's unsurmountable evidence, we wouldn't just be hearing about it on yourbrainonporn. It'd be on psychologytoday, webmd, mayoclinic and elsewhere. First of all ten pushups was not literal, it was a figurative term for exercise. Secondly, if an effeminate man had high testosterone levels he would not be effeminate, its simple science really.

Thirdly, I never said raising testosterone levels would stop someone being gay, I said it would tone down the effeminate character. Also, ladies can never have the same testosterone levels as men naturally so there's no way working out can make a woman develop a deep voice.

As for evidence I'll use my experience as an example, growing up I was a shy and I wasn't good with girls and anything social. Sometime in secondary school I did flexibility exercises for a month, went to school the next term and witnessed a transformation.

For the first time in my life I was bold enough to put my arm around a girl, I got vocal in class and my classmates noticed I had changed. I also got a voice so deep teachers would come from other classes and tell me to bring it down. I developed some anger issues and threw some aggression around.

Unfortunately I didn't maintain the work out plan and I eventually lost it as time went on.

First of all, the story I put up there is a true story of my life, you were never a porn addict so you have no idea what it feels like to have your brain messed up by porn.

Second I am not bisexual, some belief that our sexual tastes in porn reveal our inner selves but this is totally untrue. The fact is porn conditions us and makes us acquire tastes that sometimes go against our default orientation.
