It is cheaper to just host her for a couple of days. Try not to sleep with her, then pay her off, not without telling her that you dont sleep with prostitutes. Dont use the word "ashawo", that word has no weight any longer to them. Just use the simple English "I am sorry, I dont sleep with prostitutes, I spent 4 months chatting with you not knowing you are a prostitute. I am sorry for wasting your business hours"
Coming across stories like this kinda makes you wonder, are there decent women left in this country anymore?.

I met this lady on facebook sometimes ago. We chatted for months as friends. It later graduated to intimate chat talk when we started professing affection. We both had feelings for eachother. She is the first to call me in the morning and I will be the one to call her before she goes to bed.

The tension was so high between us that i could nearly breath if we don't chat or talk in a day.

But I noticed she was never eager to meet me.

So I decided to tell her that we should meet and stop whatsapp dating.

Last Sunday, I approached her that we should meet on this Saturday.

She said "ok, hope we won't have sex"
I said "I can't say, I am into you, I don't know if it will or will not lead to sex"

She said "I need to know now because it will cost you"

I said "Cost me what?"

She said "10k per round"

I thought she was joking. i said "lol...be serious jor"
She said she was serious, why did I think she was joking?

I still thought she was joking, so I decided to play along. I said "10k is too much for a round, I will pay her 15k for the whole day"

She said "15k...but little sex"...SHe then started sending me her nasty pictures (her boobs, hips, VJ). I nearly fainted. I could not believe my eyes. I suddenly developed fever, my stomach started cramping as if I had running stomach. I was so shocked to the bone marrow. I pray I never feel that way again.

And we have been chatting for 4 months and she never mentioned she was into that shiiit.

I felt sick for 2 days. But she is still coming anyways. I am thinking of calling off the meeting. I have feelings for her. Part of me want to meet her, part of me hate her. She has a good personality.

I feel she wasted my time.

Can any good come out of our meeting?
I suggest you drop her and move on, a lady like that is definetly not worth it. You deserve better.

I defend Obama because he's a role model to tens of millions of Americans. When underachiever like you denigrate him, people who know his essence will defend him. You should be worried about the titanic you are stuck in living a subhuman lifestyle instead of worrying about a very accomplished Obama.
The Titanic sank in 1912 over a 100 years ago, no one is still stuck in it. Before you go ahead and defend Obama you should remember that a man such as Adolf Hitler is also considered as a role model to tens of millions of people out there. I'm guessing that makes him a saint too.

What you should know is that special skills can't be hidden by individuals that possess them. It's like managers getting pissed off at celebrated dribblers with less goals.

I worked as a manager in a company owned by a professor of literature. Most of the meetings took place on WhatsApp platform where contributors are experts in the field, except the owner.

I have found out that rich people always want you to massage their ego even if they are wrong, and prefer losing, at times, to following a commoner's advice. I had never wanted to outshine them, but whenever I perceived that the result of not heeding my advice would be fatal, I would device linguistic crafts that could only deliver the message to the prof. despite being read by all. The others would hail my language use sophistication, without them knowing that the prof. was smarting. He would have no other choice than submitting to me.

Along the line, he devised ways of making me look stupid, and I quitted when the ovation was loudest.

Now I've secured a new job in an hospital. My job description is purely about presentations--assisting the owner, who has been taking up this role before my arrival. It also requires me to be in the hospital everyday. Here, I normally don't have much to do between 10am and 4pm. Since that I would be busy at night and in the morning, I use that period to shop and and get important stuff done--I would still obtain permission before embarking on these. This job should have more men on shifts, but they don't want to hire more persons.

Being a good orator, my employer felt threatened and stylishly mentioned it in one of his presentations.

In his words, "Don't be surprised at our new man's ability to compete with Mark Twain as an orator. We all have special skills, and you are well aware of mine as not being oratory."

That marked the beginning of dramas.

I have an apartment in the hospital. The TV here has DSTV subscription paid for monthly, and linked with hospital wards.

Two weeks after my arrival, the owner disabled it. His reason is that he doesn't want patients to be watching ungodly channels. Know that Tv in the wards must be switched off by 8pm. But I watch it in my apartment anytime I want. I see this as a calculated attempt to get at me.

It's evident that this man wants me to live as a slave from other policies he rolled out later, and added them to my job descriptions. For instance, he found something meaningless for me to be doing by 10am to 4pm in a bid to pin me to the office at all cost, knowing full well that I use that time preparing my presentations.

Now I'm planning to quit, but my people are saying I intentionally want to throw away an opportunity. What's your take?
If you're better than your boss then you need to be your own BOSS.

Some proverbs are indeed worth abiding by, while others . . . not so much. Many proverbs actually have an opposite proverb, making it hard to choose the one that actually speaks the truth. Still other proverbs are commonly misused and carry a different meaning today than originally intended.

9. Blood Is Thicker Than Water

Actually: The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.

“Blood is thicker than water” is often used to imply that family ties are more important than duty to anything else. Today, we often use the phrase to remind one another that family bonds are far more significant than temporary relationships with friends. This is not at all what the phrase originally meant.

The original version stated, “the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb,” meaning that the
bond between comrades is stronger than your family allegiance. Back in the day, the word blood was taken quite literally and was referring to the blood that was shed by soldiers on the battlefield. “Blood is thicker than water” was also used in reference to blood covenants that people used to make by sharing the blood of an animal or even by cutting one another and mixing their blood together. Once the covenant was made, it bonded them for life and meant that they were committed to one another more than they were committed to their own brothers.

7. The Devil Is In The Details

Actually: God is in the detail.

Today’s version warns of mistakes to be made in the small details of a project. However, an older version of the proverb is “God is in the details.” It means that attention paid to small things will bring significant rewards .

It is unclear who first invented and used the phrase “God is in the details.” The proverb is attributed to many influential figures , including Michelangelo. However, the figure to whom the phrase is most commonly attributed is the German- born architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. While it is most likely that the phrase did not originate from him, it was nevertheless referred to in his 1969 New York Times obituary. The phrase was also commonly used by the art historian Aby Warbug, although his biographer was also hesitant to pin the phrase to him. An even earlier version of the proverb, “the good God is in the detail,” is usually attributed to the influential French novelist Gustave Flaubert. In Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations, the source of the saying is simply listed as “anonymous.”

5. Children Should Be Seen And Not Heard

Actually: A maid should be seen , but not heard.

Few know that the original proverb of “ children should be seen and not heard” was once “a mayde schuld be seen, but not herd” (a maid should be seen and not heard). Thus, it was young women who were meant to keep quiet .

The saying “Hyt ys old Englysch sawe: A mayde schuld be seen, but not herd” was first recorded in a 15th-century collection of sermons that were written by an Augustinian clergyman, John Mirk. A “sawe” was a medieval term for a saying or a proverb.

To better understand why exactly it is that we say children instead of maiden today, we need to look at the word “mayde” and its meaning. Today, we associate the word maiden with a young , unmarried woman. But, back in the day, it could have been any woman in any context, and could have also meant children. Interestingly enough, it could have also referred to celibate men.

3. Money Is The Root Of All Evil

Actually: The love of money is the root of all evil.

According to the proverb “money is the root of all evil,” all the immorality and wickedness of the world is caused by money. However, the phrase is a misquotation from the Bible , with the actual phrase being “the love of money is the root of all evil.” It means that evil and immorality are caused by peoples’ love of money, and not by money itself.

Other translations modify “ the root of all evil” to “the root of all kinds of evil” or “a root of all kinds of evil.” In respect to the latter alteration, it is said that there is apparently no “the” in front of the word root in the original language of the Bible. Thus, the phrase “the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil” is even further away from the false teaching of the proverb as most of us use it today.

Wealth is morally neutral, and there’s nothing wrong with money or the possession of money. It is only when money begins to control us that we should, according to the Bible, become concerned.

1. Speak Of The Devil

Actually: Speak of the devil and he will appear.

Today, the saying “speak of the devil” is used as a way of acknowledging the coincidence of a person arriving at the exact time they were being talked about by others. Nothing sinister is implied by the phrase, and the word “devil” is simply used as a term of expression. However, prior to the 20th century, the original proverb carried a slightly more ominous meaning.

The original phrase, “ speak of the devil and he will appear,” was seen in various Latin and Old English texts from the 16th century. It was first recorded by Giovanni Torriano in Piazza Universale in 1666 as, “The English say, Talk of the Devil, and he’s presently at your elbow.” The proverb was well known by the mid-17th century and expressed the belief that it was dangerous to talk about or mention the devil by name. While most people did not express their belief that the pure mention of the devil’s name itself would cause him to appear, his reference was still thought to be unlucky and best to be avoided.

It was around the 19th century that the original meaning of the phrase began to wane. Instead, it began to serve as a warning against eavesdropping.

valkaka:
They line the streets at night with their seductive dresses and solicit sex for a fee. Most of us have at one point or another seen

They line the streets at night with their seductive dresses and solicit sex for a fee. Most of us have at one point or another seen prostitutes on the street.

They aren’t difficult to pick out, after all, they’d have a difficult time finding customers if they were. Prostitution is one of the oldest professions, and not much has changed about how it’s done in all those years. But today, things are being done a little differently.

Not every prostitute can be found on the streets anymore. And not every prostitute takes money for sex. There are young girls these days who are willing to sleep with any guy who can afford to buy them something as little as a plate of Indomie (a popular noodle in Ghana) for supper.

It is their own way of surviving the difficulties of life. They are jobless, spend the day sitting under trees gossiping or watching television and spend the night pursuing their male friends for favours. Can that also be termed prostitution? I believe so.

Today, prostitution, just like many other professions, is evolving with the introduction of technology and social media.

Some ladies, either too shy or too proud to expose their faces on the streets at night, hide behind social media to sleep their way to riches.

I call it Facebook prostitution, and it works in different ways. Some ladies post seductive pictures of themselves to entice Hot guys. These guys hit their inboxes to pursue them. Through inbox chat, they demand a negotiable fee to sleep with them.

Others do theirs behind the closed doors of secret groups on Facebook and WhatsApp. While some people use Facebook groups to socialize, and to catch up with old friends and meet new ones, others are using the popular social network to find clients for sex.

You’re probably asking how one can identify a prostitute on Facebook, right? Let me feed your curious minds.

Half the people in your friend list are probably people you have never met before. And some of these friends may actually be prostitutes.

So how do you know who is offering you what? First, their names may give you an idea of what they do or are capable of doing. Friends with seductive and flirty names like naughty girl, flirty girl, Hot diva etc. should give you a clue.

You can also go beyond their names to know more about them in the “About” option on their wall. There, you can get their interests, what pages they have liked, the movies they love to watch and so on. If these things are mostly pornographic, there’s a pretty good chance she’s willing to exchange sex for money.

They can also easily pop up in your Google search by typing your location and something related to sex. For example, type Facebook hook ups, Facebook Sugar Mummy, Facebook private talks etc.

Finally, keep an eye on what they post on their walls. They send clear messages through their posts, and that is how I found my source for this article.

In my investigation, I came across Abena, who boldly uses her Facebook page to love-vendor out girls for cash.

She requests any guy above 30 years interested in a hook up to inbox her for details about the hook up, which I did as an undercover writer. “Guys below 30 years do not have enough money to pay my clients and therefore we prefer older guys,” Abena told me.

Abena has a number of girls she pimps out. To get a contact of an ordinary girl who hides behind the cover of Facebook to prostitute, Abena demands an initial deposit of 10 cedis in the form of recharge card before she gives out a number.

I managed to convince her to give me a number, which she did after I promised her more clients when the rendezvous goes well.

Yvette, the prostitute, readily agreed to meet me for a “short time” 2 hours of steamy sex for a fee of 200 cedis(around20k) or an all-night round of romance for 400 cedis.

Yvette speaks impeccable English, which indicates she is educated. Abena pimps out educated girls, with some pursuing higher education in the universities.

For those prostitutes on the streets, they are bold enough to declare to the whole world what they do for a living, but for these up and comers, why hide behind social media to prostitute?

Could it be that they come from privileged homes? More than likely with some of them being university students. Do they then think that they’re too good to be on the streets with the poor girls?

What then is their motivation? If it’s money, surely it isn’t to buy Indomie noodles. Are they not in school to make something better out of their lives? Is prostituting themselves somehow helping further that goal?

On the other side of the coin, discussions on prostitution are always limited to the women, but the profession never ceases to be attractive thanks to the patronage of men. Right or wrong?

The men are equally as guilty as the women. If guys stop paying for sex, the business will no longer be lucrative enough to entice more girls, will it?

200 cedis(around 20k) for two hours and 400 cedis(around 40k) for a night is a gold mine. Come on, that is someone’s monthly salary for Christ’s sake. To earn it in two hours or a day is a jackpot. And for some, that kind of money is just too much temptation.

Your daughter, sister, friend, or even girlfriend may be involved. You may assume she is decent, but hidden behind her Facebook wall she’s having sex for money. And you may also think he is decent, but meanwhile he’s trolling Facebook for girls he can pay for sex.

With the spread of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and now Ebola, all transferable by the exchange of bodily fluids, who is safe if abstinence is not your thing? Your next friend request could be a deadly disease!
There are ladies out there who would gladly prostitute themselves for free online, I don't know what society is turning into.
