What did you want to be growing up?. Did you have one dream or multiple?

Let me know in the comments.

There you have it. 7 different passions of mine that shaped my life at different points in time.

Right now I'm really strong on the writer and artist fronts and that's what I want to focus on going forward.

7. A Magician

After encountering the likes of David Blaine and Chris Angel, I knew I had to get on that #magic sauce. So I bought a deck of cards and started learning street magic.

I did this for a while before I lost interest and moved to other things.

6. A Dancer

When I was a teen around 13-14 I loved dancing so much I wanted to become a dancer. I spent countless hours on Youtube learning the hottest #dance moves.

This continued for a while until I got older and jaded and quit most of pop culture.

5. A Music Producer

I happen to love #music and I've tried my hand at making it. I had no singing skills or talent, so I just stuck to making beats.

I pulled off a couple jams, but I wasn't born with the soul of a musician so this didn't last.

Nairaland / General / Re: 7 Occupations I Wanted To Pursue While Growing Up by jacksondavies(m): 5:40pm On Feb 06, 2021
4. A Writer

As I got older I discovered I had a talent for #writing. I played around with blogging and started a couple blogs which I didn't maintain.

I had some success writing on forums, and made some dough on #Steemit in 2018 and #Hive in 2020.

3. A Game Developer

#Gaming has been a lifelong passion and I loved it so much that I tried to make one. I got a game engine, was getting set to learn #Blender and some #programming and.... my PC crashed.

I never got a new one and this dream went down the drain.

Nairaland / General / Re: 7 Occupations I Wanted To Pursue While Growing Up by jacksondavies(m): 5:38pm On Feb 06, 2021
2. A Movie Director

I've always been a big fan of #movies and at a point in time I considered making them. This was complicated to pull off as it required finance, diverse skills and a skilled team to make it happen. I tried some solo #animation but this never really took off.

Nairaland / General / 7 Occupations I Wanted To Pursue While Growing Up by jacksondavies(m): 5:36pm On Feb 06, 2021
Earlier this year I was looking back at my life and realized I had gone through a lot of phases. I grew up having a lot of dreams, goals, and ideas which I pursued at one time or another.

I thought I'd roll down memory lane and recap some of the lives I could have lived.

1. An Artist

This was the first thing I ever told anyone I wanted to be. I've always had a love for art and I pursued an art career on and off for years. I got serious in 2020 though and made some dough dropping my #art out there.

He wasn't the initiator of anything.

The first coup was carried out by Major Kaduna Nzeogwu

Ironsi stepped in to quell the chaos. Power was handed over to him after everything settled down.

can you explain.. Which one is professionally scammer is it not de same bank that they will use for transactions..

You got scammed by someone who used a bank account.

If he scammed you with crypto the money would have been in the wind.

You'd most likely never recover it.

Investment / Re: Is Cryptocurrency Mining Legit? by jacksondavies(m): 1:09pm On Dec 12, 2020
Don't waste your time on any crypto mining rubbish.

To mine crypto for real you need to set up miners which cost $100s of dollars.

Most online mining gigs are either scams or modern slavery.

This is why I don't recommend Blockchain to anyone.

The first thing a wallet should do is ask you to save your recovery phrase before password.

Check your email for the message you were sent when you registered. You might find it there.

Business / Re: Litecoin Wallet by jacksondavies(m): 6:11pm On Dec 01, 2020
There are a couple apps you could use.

Coinomi
AnkerPay
Blockchain etc

I recommend Coinomi as a private wallet.

Make sure you backup your mnemonic phrase else your funds will never be recovered if something bad happens.

Months ago, I introduced Smart contract in this forum. Trying to explain how I make money from crypto currency called Ethereum through a Smart Contract called Forsage, but a stupid mod decided that all he could do is to ban my account.

Low key, many of these mods also joined the smart contracts but didn't want people to make money thereby tagging it Shady deals.

That same Ethereum has made boys millionaires now. All the same, we move!!!!

If I were a mod I'd also ban you for promoting a ponzi scheme that will end in tears.

I want to know if it is legit and still paying before investing into it .

If you have a functional app on playstore, yes it's legit.

If you're trying to play Google with self clicking then you're wasting your time.

Banning is sure and your money will go for vanishing.
