Prisscindy: Hi everyone,
A friend of mine who is about to apply for a study permit is 5 weeks pregnant. She asked if the medical exams would tell she's pregnant and if she has to inform the vo about the pregnancy. Her resumption is by Jan 2018. Her due date is 1st April or thereabout. She also asked if she could have the baby in the US first before applying for the study permit but the cost will be high. I'm not a guru so I say make I consult una first before giving my advice. She should disclose her pregnancy at the medical centre. i read somewhere (seems the medical centre where i had mine) that concealing such vital info doesnt affect your chances of getting your permit and it should be disclosed so as not to expose the foetus to dangerous rays while having x-rays etc |

ibbravura: Okay. Its a two way thing. If you applied online then yhu have to upload the additional document on ur cic account. Means yhu will have to merge them for uploading as a single file. Hence If offline and yu didnt link online. You need not merge. Yhu will just take advantage of attachment property in the mail section. Add every document u want to revert with. No need to merge.
I hope this help.
IBB not necessarily, i applied online, sent the single additional document by mail on Thursday, got their response this afternoon. |

seyiT: What could happen if one is unable to resume school at the appropriate time in canada due to the long processing time of student visa by CIC/IRCC? For instance, I applied for my TRV here in Nigeria in June and I am supposed to start my MSc program on Sept 5 but am not sure i will get my student visa before september is there an expiry date on your acceptance letter? im supposed to resume 1st week in september too buh acceptance letter's expiry date says 24th of september so i guess thats extra time |

Emmane: Hey guys......
This one na serious question o.... on CIC website, processing time changes every week. At 1st, I used to think that the processing time for that week is applicable to those who applied for that week.
E.g. around late May, with the 1st 2 weeks in June, processing time was 13weeks..... And approaching ending June, July, it turned into 16weeks. Now if applied when processing time was 13weeks (say May ending) does it mean that as we are in July now, my application of 13weeks estimated processing time (as at when I applied in May) will turn into 16weeks (July)??
Pls Gurus, help..... Cuz this is confusing. What are your thoughts?? the average processing time applies to previous applications that were attended to that week. if it says 13 weeks today, it means on average those approved/denied that week applied on average of 13 weeks before. its therefore a more useful to those that applied sometimes ago than to new applicants. i hope my explanation makes lil sense. |

Ekesbaba1: Still waiting for sincere comments please,,,, with the little i read about you, i would suggest you get your gre done first especially if ur course is requiring a high gre score. so u don't end up using money to send and not meeting gre requirement. I am not being pessimistic, just saying, because i had to write gmat 3 times in 6 months before i could get the score i wanted. or better still contact your department,,from my experience, they re always ready to help. |

MRtristan: Hello everyone, i am planning on applying for msc coursework comp sci, i have a uk degree with an average of 72%, graduated 2014 with 2 years working experience as a data analyst, unfortunately, most schools i have seen so far request for a minimum of 75% in order to be considered for admission, please kindly help with less competitive schools that do not require contacting a supervisor or going via PGD the only way forward??...
Thanks Have you tried contacting the dept concerning that? they might be willing to consider you. I was also interested in a course that requires B+ grade while my cgpa was B. i contacted the sch was told i could still make the list with a good gmat score. I would suggest you make contact with them, you have a chance especially when the grading system is somewhat different |

activelyA: Goodday. I am new here and intend to travel for my post grad program in Canada. Do i need to sit for TOEFL, GRE, and the rest...
secondly, Which university can one recommend...been going through the list of universities/colleges in Canada and am quite confused as regards which to apply to.
Thirdly, which is the best city to live/work in or get employment oppotunities. it must necessarily be one of the big cities etc... Thanks I would suggest you start your search with the course you would like to study. from there you can find out which schools offer such course or a course related to what you want. from there you can check up the course requirements. some courses require gre, some others require gmats, english tests re generally not required from english speaking country citizens. however there can be an exception depending on your sch or course. |

what they do is verify that your statement of acct is genuine by calling the bank to verify a couple of transactions on your statement of account. They do not have the right to ask for your account balance (some day after you have printed and submitted your statement of acct), so they cant tell if you went ahead to withdraw all of ur money immediately after u printed ur statement. My thought tho. Judgepelumi: They do bank confirmation if not, how do you think they detect fake bank statements or counter one for insufficient balance? Ask your banks for more clarification |
