I feel very sad each time Islam is coined a 'Religion of Violence'. When in fact it preaches peace. Sometimes I feel the violence is brought forward by poverty which paves way for 'Brain washing' and an eventual radicalism. May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
high level brain washing done under the cover of Islam but its not just poverty that leads them to it because even the elites and well to do are being recruited case in point is the Nigerian terrorIst in the usa. i am not a Muslim sympathiser but its just common sense and obvious that wat started in a small sect has been hijacked by a bigger more sophisticated body that wants to take as much lives as possible. lets be very prayerful and watch our neighbours and friends cause really it could be anyone |
i did mine last week with another method(i wish i had seen this post then) but now my phone can't see my sdcard, even the laptop i used cant see d card pls can u help with any ideas |
theoctopus: It is a fat lie. Nobody is pushed into kidnapping because of unemployment. They go into it because of greed and materialism. People should stop trying to justify criminals.A million likes from me. Greed and selfishness and since he has the same traits he is clamoring for amnesty. |

dominique: He has gone under the knife a few times too, those abs were inplanted He's one of the vainest doctors I've ever seen on tv. Amazing comments, a pastor is a person in authority, meaning that the excuse of being human doesn't defend your actions; you have a responsibility to God to act right because you represent Him. ese has her fault but she completely trusted her pastor and didn't think he would do such;it took her completely by surprise which made her fall,i have heard this kind of story of a pastor in enugu. very sad but a lesson to the ladies be wise and never don't meet with a man of God without a companion. its obvious this pastor has this weakness but hasn't dealt with it in the past.maybe this expose will help him zip up ! |
Fashola gets my vote anyway, Apc should bone sentiments and give Fashola their ticket for 2015.If possible add Donald Duke for vice. We need fresh air, generator fumes is choking the fresh air |
That way how people said Calabar was jinxed until Donald Duke a good responsible leader came into power. My dear youths resist sentiment and corruption vote tested and trusted leaders. If only people like Fashola and Donald Duke would campaign for this coming election in 2015 for president and vice. We no longer need self absorbed politicians but technocrats who will change Nigeria to dubai... we have the money. i am just tired of all this rhetoric in Nigeria. If in 2015 you are bribed to vote an irresponsible leader collect the money and vote your conscience. Things must change I expected so much from Mr President but he gave us increased fuel prices, increased electric bills with no light, a situation where because you are celebrating demracy day you display your selves eating and dining when people perish in poverty and lack in NigerIal. infact things much change and jacky says so... |
In this part of the world we are always quick to spiritualizes issues that border on human patriotism and responsibility. In South Africa we have a leader like Mandela who sacrificed personal gains for the good of the nation, and Abraham Lincoln, Margaret Thatcher etc. in other parts of the world. In Calabar those days we were in school we were told that the town was jinxed and infested by witches that was why there was no development but in comes Donald Duke, who not only transforms Calabar but puts in on the map in Nigeria and around the world and transforms the whole town. What we need is quality leadership In Nigerian failed leadership is seen as a curse and jinx because we have greedy and selfish leaders who delight to see the youths suffer without a concern or compassion. BOTTOM LINE, THINGS MUST CHANGE IN 2015 WE MUST VOTE TRIED TESTED AND PROVEN LEADERS ENOUGH OF SENTIMENTS WE NEED CHANGE AND WE NEED IT NOW! |

MaximusDMeridux: If it was in the SE now, the ibos will be happy, rolling out the drums and drinking palm wine! You people are really in it now, the Yorubas don't want ibos anymore in their lands, the Hausas get mad if there is nothing to use as an excuse to attack ibos, so much so they will act as though they were tending to their cattle as an excuse! The minorities don't like the ibo attitude either, in fact I can see why they will be more touchy and suspicious! They know they don't have the numbers of the North and SW and can not let any significant number of ibos settle before telling you off quickly before you get comfortable! The worst thing is that the only people who played neutral and let you thrive in their lands have had it up to here and have also now rejected you!Sorry guy but you just typed trash.! Are you reasoning with your behind. |
At least the light in mini orlu returned after after I posted. so its safe to say they maybe here... |
I bet even some brazilian hair being sold in nigeria is from venezuela. No wonder some women wear these weaves and have nightmare.. Some women say they fix this weaves for blokes but I can assure you most ladies fix these hairs to feel among, spending huge sums of money to buy other people hair na wah. For the sake of fashion as for me I fix but synthetic hair or I braide. Just be your self. |
If they are all over nairaland like you say can they do something about the alarming rate of unemployment and the darkness in my area mini orlu port harcourt |
lakhadimar: i am amazed that you are sympathetic towards okahs plight. Am sure you wouldnt show him empathy if your family member were among those who died during independence day bombing, a crime he i:e okah is in jail for nowhe is serving time for the crime he committed, his crime doesn't entitle him to be molested aferall other inmates have testified to the same thing. this world is getting................................. can't find a word. |
its amazing that some people actually think this is funny.am sure you wouldnt be laughing so loud if it were your friend or family. our law makers are busy making bills against homosexuals while we have lots of them right under our nose. |

It's a pity that this is a country where people see black and call it white. Only time will tell the effect this judgement will have in Nigeria. |
