I don't think u hav a point(no offence) cos an infact by definition is a baby under 28days.Nestle cam on dis trend 2say dat they actually indicated on d old packs dat its not suitable 4children under 3 so afta I read dat,I started givin my kid golden morn.Mayb u bought an old stock cos on d new packs,there's no place its written dat it shldn't b given 2babies over 6mths.No normal mother wil want 2giv d child sh carried 4a hardcore 9mths somthng dat'l detriment his/her health even if u adopted d child.Most Nigerian mothers ar vry enlightened now.Golden morn is vry good&most kids tolerate it.My kid din't tolerate cerelac,frisocream&nutriend

U didn't state how old ur baby is.Well,I introduce pap as in d one made wit guinea corn&millet(was givin it 2her wit soyabeans&milk) 2my baby at 5mths but was stil breatfeedin&also givin NAN then at 6mths,tryin out differnt types of cereal.They hav diff cereals 4diff ages but I'l advice u start Amala or semo wit draw soup.Use locally made foods 1st b4 u jump 2oyibo food.Lik somone stated b4,u shld blend fruits (watermelon,orange,apple&d rest)&giv too

I remember dewormin my baby at 8mths wen sh 1st started teethin so I think u shld talk 2ur paediatrician so dat they'l tel u d worm med suitable 4his/her age&d right dosage too.

Onec u'v decided u want 2wean,its a gradual process.Start by bf only at nyt then slowly b givin feeder (milk+water) at nyt.Tak less fluid cos d more u ingest food,mor milk formed.For d pain,tak paracetamol.D milk shld dry up within a wk or so of stoppin&wear big strap bra tightly 2hold back d milk.Nomatter how d baby struggles 2force u 2breastfeed,u hav 2hold back cos if u keep bf,d milk wil keep flowin.I didn't even notice wen d milk stopped flowin.

It is always convenient 2do exclusive BF.Walai,it'l save u money&anxiety&future guilt but if u realy want 2start supplementin,u shld use superior milk lik Aptamil or similac if u'r bouyant enuf.ur baby wil so lik it.Start 1st by expressin&givin d baby in d feeder so dat he/sh'l get used 2d feeder 1st cos gettin dem 2tak dat feeder is war then wen he/sh masters d feeder,start givin d milk (SMA Gold is good too if u can get d original though I used NAN).Meanwhil u hav 2b d one 2b washin&sterilizin d baby's feeder Urself pls&d feeder has 2b used only once.Any food remainin shld b discarded&not stored in d warmer or fridge 2b fed later.Evry little thng makes them stool&weak.Goodluck

U'r welcome dear.I think u shld talk 2ur paed 2knw d one suitable.My baby is a year + but I remember d paed has prescribed 2 different dewormin meds at different occassions&age namely combactrin&Zentel.So talk 2ur paed&knw d exact dosage 2giv.D one my paed recommended 4me 2b givin on my own is Zentel atleast sh said evry 3mths.Goodluck

Warfibabe: hello mum.. I know some peeps think it is not necessary but have you tried massaging his navel with hot water?(Not burning hot o!) My older son was that way until my mum pointed out that their navels takes time to close up and heal after the cord has fallen off, that I was suppose to massage and use the baby mentholata till three months. I did that to my son and the whole crying, wriggling, grunting everything stopped.
With my newborn I am still doing it and it is working fine for me.
