Yes, that is it.
Just keep checking at early mornings and nighttime. You’ll surely get a date.

Hanihani:
Good evening … please, is this what their appointment link looks like ?
TravelRe: General German Business And Tourist Visas ONLY by jaeima: 6:36pm On May 20, 2024
Amen.
Thank you.

eineFrau:
3rd of June is still a bit far away by the embassy’s standards. So I’ll suggest you wait a bit longer. Don’t worry too much, it’ll most likely end in good news.
TravelRe: General German Business And Tourist Visas ONLY by jaeima: 1:49pm On May 19, 2024
I saw 14 days on the website that’s why.
Thank you.

Zoey1:
There is no contact that I know of German Embassy Lagos.
Except you find time to go there.
This could take up to 15working days and it’s my up to that yet. So why the worry?
TravelRe: General German Business And Tourist Visas ONLY by jaeima: 5:19pm On May 17, 2024
The departure date is 3rd of June
Please which email address do I send this mail to? I have read this thread from beginning and didn’t see an email address to send queries to.

Or do you think I should hold on till mid next week?

eineFrau:
Sometimes if the departure date is too far in the future, they may hold the documents and release it a few days closer to the departure date. If it’s getting too close then you can send them an email.

TravelRe: General German Business And Tourist Visas ONLY by jaeima: 8:35am On May 17, 2024
Hello everyone
Just found out this page existed.

My brother invited my parents to see their grandchild and they went for the interview on the 29th of April but up till now we haven’t heard from the embassy. On the website they said it’s 14 day to process the visa but it’s currently longer than 14 days.
Note: All documents were provided for even ties to the country
Their time of departure is drawing closer

Should I be worried?
TravelRe: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by jaeima: 9:58pm On May 10, 2024
So, this decision was based on the school requirements which you probably overlooked.
Look at these questions below:

Assuming your language of instruction from your home university is English
1. Did you submit your transcript without altering the language of instruction?
2. In submitting your transcript did your university ask for a certified copy and did you provide that?
3. In submitting your transcript, did you scan all pages involved? Including the overall CGPA and proof of grading system (that part where there’s a description of the maximum and minimum passing grade)?

If you missed any of these then that’s why your application was faulty.
If the deadline hasn’t reached, you can still forward the missing documents to them.
I hope this helped. All the best!

I need help pls

After carefully submitting all the required documents for a master's degree admission to a German university via Uni-Assist,. I got this unfortunate message that my document is incomplete.

and I do not really understand why.
TravelRe: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by jaeima: 9:51pm On May 10, 2024
If your language of study is fully in English, it’s not a document needed/required for your admission and study visa interview.

People study German to know the language for ease of integration into the country and write the exams to have the proficiency documented for later use.

Iambettywitdag:
Please o is it a MUST one write German A1 before he /she travel to Germany . Does the embassy need it ?.be cause my school doesn’t even want it . But I hear people are writing it ?

A lot of students here have applied for the student visa.
The appointment booking link is on the website of German embassy in Lagos.

ZeroSpace:
Good evening house
Has anyone applied for German student application visa before or has an experience with this particular type of visa ?
Secondly, To book an appointment, is there any online link or I have to go to their office ?

I humbly await your response
TravelRe: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by jaeima: 9:38am On May 08, 2024
Your question is not clear.
When exactly did you book?
And if you’re still very much into going to Germany through the study route, do not cancel your appointment.

Iambettywitdag:
is it possible they past the date you applied on your visa appointment, cat B .for instance you added sept 5th 2025 and September 10th 2025 you haven't still gotten a visa appointment date .should the person loose hope and just cancel ?
TravelRe: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by jaeima: 1:51am On May 08, 2024
You’d have to confirm this from your sponsor.
Reason is because there are 2 types of sponsorship letters that can be issued:
The one which expires (the common option)
The one which doesn’t expire (people rarely give this)

The one which expires usually lasts for 6 months before your appointment date is given and up to 5 years after your visa interview.

So if your letter is option 1, it expired in February so you’ll have to get another sponsorship letter from your sponsor for your interview when it’s getting closer.

Eghosa100:
I have a question ❓ please I need an answer. I have a sponsorship letter that was given to me September last year 2023 and I am using it for my student visa prof of fund. I don't know if it is still valid and if I can use it for my appointment this year.

For the different names it won’t be an issue. All you need is your marriage certificate and maybe an affidavit if you want to be extra.

Redcup:
I have an important question about NAME.

When a person has a different name on their international passport (husband's name) and Father's name on other documents eg birth certificate, WAEC, Bsc etc.
Will this be a problem when uploading documents or even affect one's admission?
Is an affidavit acceptable?

What prompted this question, was a person's response when I read through this thread, that he/she had to do another passport, because the date of birth on his or her passport and certificates are different.

Hi guys. Do I need to go to Abuja to notarize my documents for uniassit applications. Does Germany require legalization of documents as is done in Austria and other European countries.
No you don’t need to go to Abuja.
You can notarize your documents with a notary public or with a law court where you reside.
Also note that notarization of documents depends on your school’s requirements for admission application. If it’s not requested then don’t do it.

I applied through uniassist also and my school didn’t require me to upload notarized documents on uniassist.

This is totally wrong! if you have Deutschland Stipendium, You don't need any block account or sponsorship.
The letter of scholarship is your means of sustainance.

You my dear are the one who is totally wrong!
Dstip only caters for 3600 euros of your expenses for a year so you need a letter of sponsorship or a blocked account to cater for the remaining 7680 euros or so.
Check your facts before pointing fingers please.
Dstip is not Daad!!

For your first question
I registered with a private health insurance company and I’m below 30 so yes it’s very possible.
Register with them and send a public health insurance provider a message to send your confirmation of health insurance directly to your school.

Yeoldeone:
Good day.

Do you know if it's possible to use private health insurance for enrolment at TH-Rosenheim if you're less than 30 years old?

Also, do you know any scholarship programs open to Masters students in STEM?

Thank you.
