Okay am creating this thread to try to tackle the issue of being left handed cuz its making elders to tag one as being direspectful.

I want to know why our elders would never accept anything being given to them using your left hand. To my fellow nairalanders please i need answers

You know that moment when you're trying to compose a sweet text message to say how much you love her but the right words are not coming.

Don't stop chasing, that texting pattern you've been using since you started wooing her is now old and boring, change it!

Improvise, Find new ways to say the same things, 'I love you' can be very boring when it's being said the exact same way all the time, find a new way, say it with a song, say it with a gift, say it with a poem, say it with an airtime transfer, find new ways uncle, ...

And you too aunty, it is not every time you'll be replying only "I love you too", find a new way to decorate your response, it won't kill you to surprise your man with a transfer, especially when he's been so good by you, or when you notice he's making an effort to improve on something you didn't like, buy him a gift too, men do not forbide good things.

Don't stop chasing each other. One kind gesture every now and then keeps the devil away.

My mother used to ask me what is the most important part of the body.

Through the years I would take a guess at the correct answer. When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as humans, so I said, “My ears, Mommy.”
She said, “No. Many people are deaf yet they manage. I will ask you again soon.”

Several years passed before she asked me again. So this time I told her, “Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes.”
She looked at me and told me, ” Incorrect. There are many people in World who are blind.”
Stumped again,

I continued my quest for knowledge and over the years, Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was, “No. I shall wait for right answer , my child.”

Then one year later, my grandfather died. Everybody was hurt. Everybody was crying. Even my father cried. I remember that especially because I seldom saw him cry.

My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to my Grandfather. She asked me, “Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear?” .
She saw the confusion on my face and told me,
“This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in your life. For every body part you gave me in the past, I have told you were wrong and I have given you an example why.
But today is the day you need to get the answer.”

She looked down at me . I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, “My dear, the most important body part is your shoulder.” I asked, “Is it because it holds up my head?”
She replied, “No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry.
Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it.”

It is made for others and not for yourself. It is sympathetic to the pain of others.

People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did . But people will NEVER forget how you made them feel.

Good friends are like stars, You don’t always see them, but you always know they are there to lend their shoulder

A 45-year-old man, Victor Emmanuel, who has been arrested by officers of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly impregnating a 13-year-old girl, has asserted that he sees nothing wrong with that.
According to Victor who is a tailor, the little girl he got pregnant is his girlfriend. Victor also alleged, he’s already making plans to marry her. He further disclosed that he has already given her parents N20,000, and some drinks as part of introduction and marriage rites.
News Telegraph reported that Victor who is from Imo State, was arrested by detectives attached to the Ajangbadi Police Station,, after the victim’s school alerted them. The police said that the suspect raped the girl and described her as a minor.
Confessing to committing the said crime, Victor said;
“I didn’t rape her! We are in a relationship. We’re even planning to get married. We have been dating for 8 months
now. The girl’s parents know me. Yes, I know she’s pregnant for me.
I have accepted the pregnancy and I’m already taking care of her. I have started the marriage rites. In fact, the girl’s parents had been collecting money from me. I have paid N20,000 to them for introduction and to buy drinks.
They have also asked me to bring N100,000, out of which I have paid N64,000. The school authority said she was too young. The school authority insisted that I should come to the school. When I got to the school, I was arrested.”
However, the Investigating Police Officer (IPO), Sergeant Mary Ikumo, said that the victim’s parents claimed not to know or had ever set eyes on Emmanuel, alleging that their daughter, who is just in primary six, was raped by Emmanuel.
“The mother of the victim said she didn’t know the suspect from Adam. The mother said that the girl used to hawk plantain and the suspect was one of her customers. He used to tip the girl N500 every time he buys plantain from her. One day, he pulled her into his shop and raped her” he said.

Naturally, humans are insatiable, when we have the best we still wish to have another best and on like that.
Little wonder there are more broken home this days due to cheating either by the man or the woman despite the increase in relationship counselors like many people will say.
This is not particular to a certain gender anymore like we use to have the male cheating most times in those days, women are now proving to men they can do better.
The funny thing is that those that are cheating are the ones always on the trail of their partner just because they themselves are not clean.
They love their own partner to be reserved while they perform all sorts of miracles in bed with someone else’s partner and will then come back home like saint.
They know all the moves as they are deep in the act, yet, they don’t want their partner to be tasted by someone else.
If your partner shouldn’t enjoy or be enjoyed why not just leave other people’s partner alone?
I know no matter how hard we preach some people will never listen as cheating is innate to them.
