I need a recommendation in respect of a broker/ platform in Nigeria that allows premarket and after hours trading of US stocks.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention however, I have some observations:

1. It seem you didn't factor the recent Right issue of 1B new shares in your analysis. This should significantly depress the EPS projection.

2. Your projection of 16% dividend yield -based on your assumption, will only be possible if there is adequate cash flow cover to allow 100% of the EPS to be paid out -which is almost impossible. Considering this factor, the dividend yield should be significantly less than 16%.

Based on current plans and progress, Ellah Lakes Plc is anticipated to commence revenue generation in 2025. Their 2,400 hectare oil palm plantation in Edo State is projected to commence oil production in 2024, and their cassava processing plant is also anticipated to be operational in 2024. Upon the operationalization of these facilities, Ellah Lakes will be able to begin selling their products and generating revenue.

Its total equity stands at 19.9 billion naira as at the end of July 2023, which has been increasing, primarily owing to land appreciation. *I project ELLAHLAKES to generate 1.8 billion naira in PAT from their 2,100 hectares proportionally.

*Assuming reduced efficiency due to ELLAHLAKES being relatively new, 0.8 x 1.8 billion naira = 1.44 billion naira in PAT.

*Earnings per share (EPS) of 1.44 billion naira / 2 = 0.72 naira.

*At the current price of 3.13 naira per share, the price-to-earnings (PE) ratio should be 4.34 compared to 14 for OKOMUOIL.

*Estimated dividend yield of (0.72 naira / 3.13 naira) x .8 = 16%.

Conclusion: If all goes well, purchasing it now or at a lower price, if feasible, would be akin to purchasing UCAP in 2020, lol.

Additionally, I have observed increased interest in the stock in the last 3 months. A stock that previously traded below 10 million naira in a month is now trading 300 million and 190 million naira monthly.

One thing is certain, the middlemen are partly responsible for the undue hike in food prices.

They buy the farmers' harvest at cheap rates, store for long, and only sell when we are deep into the dry season when there would food shortages.

Every year, we pray for a bumper harvest and when it comes, these middlemen buy it all, hoard it untill they are sure the masses are willing to pay any price. That is the nature of the game and I guess that is what the commissioner is trying to block.

To achieve the above, the government must take proactive steps towards making storage facilities available and affordable as the farmers don't have the financial muscle to store their produce for long.

I'm a Muslim but I don't understand how the above relates to the miracles of the Quran. Anything (good or bad) could relate to 114 as it is just a number and could mean anything else, so I don't see how this is a miracle. Hmm..... what is happening? I'm so short of words... as if we don't have the military to bundle this insurgency. My heart goes to the bereaved families.

Blame it on the government! Till date, there is no proper awareness campaign in place to educate people on this deadly disease. Our government were aware about the outbreak of the virus in other west africa countries but failed to put any viable measure to prevent it from coming our way because nothing works fine in this country, no proper medical facilities to curtail its spread, no strict adherence to laid down rules on the part of the government and even its citizens. The two americans infected by this virus are still alive today because they were prepared for it. Imagine even our health workers aren't adequately protected yet they are expected to come out and do their job.

Since we are helpless, its only natural for us to be patient until they feel the time is ripe to release the drug.

This is indeed a challenge to our medical experts, its time they show the world their might. The epidemic is killing us day in day out and until we are able to develop something beneficial for ourselves, we can't blame the americans for taking their time. All we can do now is take all preventive measures to tame its spread, then pray, pray and pray.
