Politics › Re: Recreation Park by Local Government Chairman in Lagos by JagabanB: 10:29pm On Aug 11, 2023
Building parks, street lighting, burial grounds et al are all constitution responsibilities of the LG, but someone who thinks he knows so much in Nigeria will call on FG to come and build parks for them.

Celebrating mediocrity, Ikoyi been one of the richest LGAs should not even consider this a big deal.

Commendable all the same
Mediocrity is what most of u who think u enlightened actually wallow in.
Building parks is a constitutional function of the LGA and posting about it is their choice.
Tell ur LG chairman to do same in ur LGA.

Only kids think calling someone else a kid is a great jibe and they are quick to throw.
I was once a a teenager, I know how a teenager struggles with the reality of being a teenager so they throw their insecurities at others.

Since u want to please ur paymasters who are seeing Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore etc, u are too bIind to know.

With this your last statement, I can tell you don't own any business.
Increase level of productivity in today's Nigeria, with alot of factors against your business?
I don't own a kiosk where I recycle foreign goods.
I own agricultural businesses that I looking to expand massively in today's Nigèria.
I own other businesses too which I don't intend to mention here.
Only folks who are Iazy to do anything think there's no opportunity, sit-down and criticize everything.
When I was negotiating with a partner to start this agric business some few years ago, a lazy nay sayer Iike u told us the business is good and lucrative but in Nigeria it's a risk, one flood, one hailstorm and u lose everything, till date, he is still where we left him, depending on his father's houses for rent while he consume our produce.

Nonsense is actually associated with people who can't really make sense.

When ur brain can't process anything, that thing natutally sounds like nonsense.

Boss you keep missing my points…

And going deeper into an argument I really didn’t want to go to initially.

If you still haven’t been able to understand all I have been trying to say by now then I don’t think it’s worth it trying to make it clear for you. Since you seem programmed like a one way traffic.

You make arguments backwards and forwards… sometimes contradicting your self.

As you have said one of the reasons we go to school is to develop our thinking ability. Apply some of that thinking ability in the comments I posted.

I don’t argue with people that argue for argument sake or to win an argument.

What I stated in my comments is simple to understand and I have tried to be patient trying to respond to you.

But everyone has a limit.

I reached mine… goodluck!
All u are saying is that u are making a statement based on the pictures while making conclusions that are not based on the picture.
That's what we are trying to iron out.

the average Nigerian is starving and not living on any essential commodities..I have seen many people who can't comfortably feed once a day ..the minimum wage is 30k...1k can't feed you a day in Nigeria..be realistic and stop lying just to defend or protect what you believe in...even you know that the average Nigerian is suffering..there is no doubt about it
The average Nigerian can't feed a day yet we are not observing a famine crîsès?
I don't defend anything, I just don't exaggerate stuffs like most of u.
The average Nîgeriàn can't feed yet those selling food stuffs sell everyday.
Yet u can pass through a refuse dump and see alot of food in the refuse dump?
Things are not rosy doesn't mean average Nigerian can't afford a meal a day.
Stop the propaganda.
It stinks.

Obi would have damaged everything existing in country just like he damaged everything existing in Anambra including LG chairpersons.

Those thinking Russia will send their military and make expenditures on a war with a regional block against a wretched country like Nigèria are so deluded.
In the conflict between Western Sahara and Morocco, Russia told them to settle it within themselves while US backed Morocco.
Some how some people think that Russia who is currently engaged in a war will send military support to Niger.

Obidents will use the remaining 2023-2026 to be hoping and praying that Nigèria faiIs, then they rejoice and make posts and any slight mishaps, they celebrate that Nigèria is failing and come 2026, they will start singing how they love Nigèria.
LOL.
The road to presidency for Obi still far.

U all love talking too much in this country.
When Buhari said Nîgeriàn youths are lazy few years ago, I was not happy with him, but now I realize he was absolutely right.
Countries like South Korea, China, Malaysia, Singapore etc focused on production rather than dollar vs their currency, the average Nîgeriàn who has never owned a dollar before keeps posting about dollar without thinking about his level of productivity and what he contributes to the society.

You seem to have ignored the first line…

In my comment which should have told you I wasn’t commenting on the war in particular. But just on the op seeming to draw conclusions that the NA will defeat Niger in a war straight out because of the way they look.

My brother you cannot draw a conclusion from those pictures on who has better weapons, logistic, motivation, tactics etc by looking at that picture.

Which was why I brought boko haram in here remember? Thank God you have been to borno your self so you should confirm how the boko haram troops look- do they look better than the Nigerian military generals? If not or yes then how has it translated in the war?

Even the better weapons you claim boko has are they properly trained to use them effectively… to maximum capacity? Why haven’t they won the war with the superior weapons?

These are things you should realize. Questions you should be asking and that’s why I stated that winning a war depends on a lot.

I have my personal opinions about the war- I never stated any of it in my comments.

I realize it would be a huge mountain to climb for Niger to win a war against Nigeria- talk more of with full support from ECOMOG countries. (But in war as in anything in life victory is never guaranteed) But I wasn’t commenting on that part.

I simply commented on the op seeming to draw a conclusion and portray the war to go a certain way from looking at and comparing the appearance of the generals in the picture.

Looks can sometimes be deceiving… and you certainly cannot tell whose logistics, training, weaponry, military tactics etc is better from looking at a picture.

From history we can actually conclude that the biggest army doesn’t always win a war. Even better weapons are not guarantees to winning a war.

Winning a war is a lot more than that. You can check out the “tiny “ Ukrainian army which on paper should have been crushed by Russia and how they have fared and held their ground for over a year now.

History is always there to learn from!
Winning a war is relative and losing a war as well is relative, u are making comparison with Ukraine who have lost alot and in another 20 years will struggling from the disàstèr this war has cost them.
On all fronts they are Iosiñg the wàr.
I can't really talk about everything when replying a comment, I reply those I remember.
One of the reasons people attend school is to develop your thinking capacity.
The OP is not telling u that the pictures make the Nîgeriàn army better, rather he is telling the level of advancement the two military has from the picture.
Few months ago someone posted a picture of the US military eating in an organized manner and showed a picture of the Nîgeriàn army eating (a picture that looks bad).
Everyone drew conclusions from that picture that the US military is better.
Pictures tell alot and judging from that picture we can tell which military is more advanced.
U all love making comparison to Russia because of what u hear Western media which they do in a bid to downgrade Russia and keep pushing Ukraine deep into the abyss of destruction.
The Russian people don't know if wàr is happening meanwhile Ukrainians are refugees in many countries across Europe.
This alone is a huge defeat.

This is Tinubu's ambition. On a regional level, it will be seen as Nigeria's wish is to go to war with Niger republic
Nigèria is not going to war with Niger, no matter how hard u Obi's followers want to paint it.
It's an ECOWAS issue.
Prèsîdéñt of Ghana, Senegal, Benin, Cote D'Ivoire all agreed to a possible military intervention, but in Nigeria, it's now a politics because a group of people lost elections and are praying so hard to see the country fail.
