Creeper: It will go over your head because you’re a slave.
Only brave people break themselves free from the shackles of slavery.
France has no uranium yet it’s the biggest exporter of nuclear energy and 1 out 3 bulbs in France is powered by Niger’s uranium.
Niger is one of the largest exporters of uranium yet almost 80% of the population has no electricity. And why’s that? - France basically take Niger’s uranium for free because it pays the country with CFA it prints.
The same thing with Mali and its gold.
These are brave men - a cowardly slave like you won’t be able to relate. Presently, Nigèria as a country has a very large expanse of arable land they can use for agriculture, yet they are not using, Nigeria has a very large deposit of silica sand for glass production on a large scale, yet they are not using it, Nigèria has a huge deposit of lithium, yet they are not using it and so many many other deposits they are not using. What does it tell u? We only value our resources and know their importance only when westerners come to mine them. If Europeans had come here to be using our land for agriculture, we will blame them for our underdeveloped agriculture, same as if they came for silica sand, we will blame for not having functional and great glass industries. If France leaves Niger Uranium today, in another 50 years they still wón't supply electricity to even 40% of their population. I don't expect u to understand because mentally lazy folks always look for where to place bIame and absorb themselves of their faiIures. Just like Africàñs are readily doing. |

Now that the chick has come home to roost, the agitation has started from their end. lol
As I've always said, your brother being president doesn't exempt you from the shege that everyone will see if he is incompetent. If you doubt me, ask the north what they saw for the past 8 years. Entering a country where the civilian population is against you to fight a war is suicide. According to this your logic now, Niger military is more powerful than Nigèrian military? Boko Haram has no plan of terrorizing Niger, their plan is Nigeria, coupled with military politics in the insurgency fight. This ur analysis is Iamè aside the last paragraph. |

Politics › Re: An Urgent Call For The Creation Of State Police by JagabanB: 1:50pm On Jul 30, 2023 |
Blue3k: Who cares cares of its easy? Yes both tiers of government can shares duties. They already do it with prisons. They states that want or need federal police can negotiate witg the federal government. Let their representatives work busy body. Allowing the states the option have their own police force didn't eliminate the federal police just like it doesn't Eliminate other functions that exist in the concurrent list. Your questions are pretty dumb but common sense isn't that common it seems.
The water supply to policing is apt because Water is must to survive. No state can say they provide the majority of their residents in any local government their water needs. Just like water thestates will address their issues at their own pace. They're doing so with prisons until the federal government stops accepting state and local law offenders. Do u know how state and federal policing work in countries that run them? With federal policing, it means the FG is funding the policing in some states while they told other states to fund their policing, in America, there so many things that federal police don't get involved in. That's how it's supposed to be when we implement state policing. If commóñ sènsè is common, u should have known that providing water for the people is a function of the Local góvèrñment as well as street lightning and building of parks. So comparing water supply to policing is apt in ur sènsè, I see we shouldn't be talking in the first place. There's no reason for u to start ur initial reply with abuses but are so èmpty u started with abûsès, I have exchange mentions with people on this same topic with señsîble contributions, yours decides to start like the avèràge agbero, I won't stop low to reply u again. Blue3k: The point stands even if you don't like the facts. If you're missing the forest for the trees I guess you're too dense to get the point. It doesn't matter if all the States are able to pay the police. The ones who are willing able can do it first thing. The rest may catch up when ever fiscal realities determine. There's no reason to retard progress of other states just because one can't or won't ever. Take this talk to the Senate, it's easy, isn't it? You are all mouths on social media without thinking, so federal policing will be existing concurrently with state policing as it is now? Or they should maintain federal policing for some states and state policing for others, same u will still come to cry marginalization. Or states who cañ't afford proper state policing should left without policing? Most of u in Nigèria need to think basics before u type on social media, u all have been so sophisticated and enlightened on social media for ages and it's hasn't in any way helped u. Be Sophisticated in reality let's see. Comparing water supply to policing is a very Iamè comparison to even start with. |

U guys really suck. I went out of my way to take this screenshot for you. If the claim that someone on a minimum wage of 30k is not doing well is outrageous to you, it's obvious you doñ't know what minimum wage actually is. The IG of police is on 30k minimum wage, the chief of army staff is on 30k minimum wage. The CEOs of Dangote companies are on 30k minimum, the MD of MTN, Glo, Airtel etc are on 30k minimum wage. I'm sure these folks are not doing well because they are on 30k minimum wage. If u have a certificate that u attended a school, that certificate should be withdrawn with immediate effect to be honest.

erniok: Any link to the world bank stats pls. On the issue or urban areas, I have lived in Kano, Kaduna enough. I grew up in aba( still have siblings there), younger brother in port Harcourt. In all the places I mentioned, annual rent for 3 bedroom is from 450k upwards if you want to stay in a good location. House rents are increasing because landlords are coming to terms with present economic situation and inevitably, it will only get worse. You just confirmed what I said, from 450k. That's below the 500k that I stated and doesn't come to terms with the "#1m on average" comment made by someone in previous replies. I don't know why u are arguing most of u want to keep arguing provided it's against the government without thinking properly, when we keep arguing carelessly, góvèrñment sees u and know this people are never serious. So now, since u have been living in Kano, Kaduna and Aba, can u say that on average a 3 bedroom flat costs #1m on average? There are 3 bedrooms that costs 1m depending on asthetics, is it on avèràge? That's what we have been talking about, on average means that if there are ten 3 bedroom flats in Kaduna, then each of those apartments costs 1m plus or minus 200k. That's when average will hit 1m. Una no d tire to d make pointless argument? U just agreed with me that on average 3 bedroom don't cost 1m, so why have u been giving me repeated mentions? Because u are angry that Tinubu is the president? I don't have the link to world bank statistics, just google it. You will see it. |

Blue3k: They will take it out your wallet sir. Besides state that can't aren't forced to do it immediately or at all. Let's take simple things like providing water does your state or local government do it? Another example is prisons which has been moved out of the exclusive list. Are they breaking their necks to construct prisons? Notice they just because they have option or duty doesn't mean they rush to do it or even opt to because they know most if their residents don't care. States that can and are willing will do so. The ones who aren't either won't. My local government provides water, we the indigenes make sure of that. U wanted to make a point but started off in most idîótïc way, we cañ't converse actually. |

headboyprince: you have no iota of sense.. Go and google what minimum wage means.. most people in Nigeria earning minimum wage are owned salaries for months, where they want see the 350k from.. First and foremost, it is "owed" not "owned". It's clearly obvious most of you in Nigeria especially PitObi camp has no idea of basic concepts, you just follow the crowd and scream. "Most people in Nigeria earning minimum wage are 'owned' salaries for months"? Are u this dàft? You mean all federal workers as well as those working in different industries are owed salaries for months too? Even those working with Dangote, Bua, Aspira etc etc are owed for months? Really? Do u have any idea what minimum wage is at all? You reek of îgñorance. Yours is too bad. |

erniok: Actually, you are stating the stats and should give your source. Don't push it back to me and yes, in rural areas, accommodation is quite cheap but expensive in urban areas and using a state like Lagos, you are dead wrong in stating a 3 bedroom apartment goes for less than 500k. The stat about Urban settlements of Nigeria is actually from world bank, when u made ur first stat about "on average a 3 bedroom flat costs 1m for a year in Nigeria" u didn't clarify u were talking about Lagos, Lagos don't represent 30% of Nigeria so why will use a Lagos stat to represent Nigèria on average or u have no idea what "on average" means? On avèràge u are saying renting a 3 bedroom flat in the whole of Nigerian urban areas is just a bit less than 1m and a little over 1m. Something like 1m plus or minus 200k. That's a false stat, if u are basing ur logic on Lagos, then u are right, but if u are basing it on Nigèria, u are dèad wrong. I don't live in Lagos, I don't know how much houses cost in Lagos, I know different parts of Nigeria better than Lagos and I'm speaking with my experience in those other parts not Lagos. |

Zupay: My state governor Uzodinma who is part of your WhatsApp group has already increased the minimum wage to N40k, which is still not a living wage.
Government has no business providing jobs rather implement policies that encourages the private sector to thrive just as it is here in the UK. When the private sector thrives with less cost of doing business in Nigeria, they hire more Nigerians to work in their companies and government get more revenue from taxes from those workers.
Get the economy working and more people would economically engaged, government purse would increase.
I am happy paying my 20% tax and other bills here in the UK because I see my tax at work, good roads, 24/7 electricity, water, internet. The park I go for my jogging that is 3 minutes walk from my house is well maintained, good healthcare access and when I start having children, I no get tension of paying school fees because na free, I only just have to buy uniforms and stationery. I for one don't like Hope Uzidima or whatever he is called, that's the problem with so many of u, u think everyone supports a party like u. Policies that will get the economy working are being passed and u all are crying. I doñ't give a damn how u live in the UK, I for one will never pick living in the UK over living in Nigèria, if I wanted to live in the UK, I would have been there ages ago over 11 years now. I always prefer living in my country and contribute my quota to the growth of immediate society not hiding in another man's country that they made efforts to build and trying to aim a shade at my own country. I'm very sure, you'll struggle to get a good looking 2bedroom for that amount you stated, except in the outskirts of the city Urban areas in Nigeria are way more than what u mentioned, all state capitals in Nigeria are urban areas, every state in Nigeria has at least 2 urban areas, some three. To assume that the ones u mentioned is a criteria to judge the rest is a big fIaw. Like I said, I don't know if u are the one who said "on average, to get a 3 bedroom flat Nigeria is 1m", that's false, many of those states has 3 bedroom flats for rent with about 500k range, some less. lexylaw40: of course I've already thought about that and I agree with you that not all states can afford it but those states that can afford to run a state security outfit should not be discouraged from establishing there state security outfits just because some few states cant afford to establish there own this is democracy. And im sure a lot of big states can affford it ...
1 Kano 2. Lagos 3 Anambra 4 Rivers 5 Ajuja (FCT) 6 Sokoto 7 Oyo 8 Ogun 9 Jo's 10 Ondo
That's just name a few
But I think the Regional security outfits like Amotekun, Civilian JTF in the north and ebubeagu can be converted to state police for more transparency and funding.
As for local government, we are already doing something similar in our landlords and tenants associations , so the state can find a chanel to better raise founds for community policing. That states a a huge task in there hands if we want a better security for our people State policing is very necessary in a country as large as Nigeria, even down to LG police departments are necessary, this will greatly improve security, the more the people talk about it, the sooner it will come to actualization. |
