Amaechi is the shameless liar here.

GEJ negotiated with China for four international airport terminals (through Stella Oduah) in Lagos, Kano, Abuja & PH and paid fully Nigeria's 15% counterparts fund.

Same thing happened with the following railway projects through then minister of Transport Sen Idris Umar

Abuja - Kaduna
Abuja MetroLine
Ajaokuta -Itakpe -Warri
Lagos - Ibadan
you are mad sir

the same Lagos Ibadan rail that fg paid for in January 2017? was Jonathan the president then?

I have noticed that Nigerians are very ignorant on the unassailable power of the constitution so you hear them make very ignorant statements like " this should not be allowed to stand " "This must be reversed " but in reality and in the presence of the sacred constitution "NOTHING HAPPENED" !!!!! as Buhari neither has the power to niether select the CJN nor replace him nor sack him or suspend him so in reality there is nothing to reverse here as Buharis action is totally ultra vires and as such the Status quo is the reality , a reality where Justice Onnoghen remains CJN till something constitional happens .

The questions doubting zombies should ask themselves are:

1 : Can the Senate President suspend the President?

2 : Can the CJN suspend the President?

3: Can the President suspend the Senate President?

4 : Can the CEO of MTN suspend the CEO of Airtel?

5: Can you suspend who you didnt employ and who doesn't work for you?

If your answer to any of the above is No then you should know Buhari is wrong.

What options does Buhari have now?

As it stands Buhari has just 3 options and they are :

1 : Respect the constitutional status quo

2: Beg Onnoghen to resign and then lobby the NJC to nominate Tanko .

3 . Lobby the NJC to recommend Onnoghen for removal and submit to the National assembly to vote on.

anything outside this is a stranger to our constitution and thereby null and void!!!
this your wailing is sweet cheesy

the CJN already he committed the offence in error. he refused to let the NJC meet and he has refused to step aside for a new CJN to preside over the investigation. his suspension is the right way to go. your wailing won't change anything

Politics / Re: Dele Momodu On Buhari Suspension Of Onnoghen: 'Our President Has Done It Again' by Jaideyone(m): 1:40pm On Jan 26, 2019
truthfulparrot:
Very soon Buhari will realized that those who are playing the drums for him to dance the steps of the gods are his worst enemies.

History has consistently shown that the best way to make powerful and stubborn tyrants to fall is to massage their ego and mislead them into making costly mistakes that will consume them. I supported Buhari in 2015 because I thought he will use his boldness and stubbornness in a positive way by crushing Boko Harram and using the rule of law to deal with corrupt politicians in APC and PDP who stole our common wealth.

I knew in 2015 that PMB does not have the required knowledge about diplomacy and economy, but I thought he will employ the best hands in respective of tribes and religions to manage the economy and other aspect of his government.

But I was disappointed that he eventually surrounded himself with corrupt politicians in PDP and APC. The most annoying thing is PMB's selective fight against corruption.
What PMB failed to realised is that the corrupt politicians in APC and PDP are afraid of his second term because they know he will not have anything at stake in his second term. They know he will eventually come for them. That is why they are taking advantage of his lack of exposure to mislead him so that he will fall out of favour with international community. It seemed they are succeeding.

In the case of CJN, if I am PMB, I would have thoroughly investigated him, leaked the details of the investigation to the press and then refer him to NJC for neccessary actions. I will put so much pressure on NJC using public opinion that the NJC will not have any other option than to sack him.

If the NJC decides to play funny, I will write to the National Assembly with evidence asking for the suspension of the CJN. If PMB had followed this path, he would have gain the support of most Nigerians and the international community.

I still believe that PMB is not corrupt. But like GEJ, he is allowing corruption to thrive. He is not in charge of his government.

When I read how Nigerians Youths are busy cursing themselves on nairaland because of ATIKU and PMB, I wonder what the future will be for Nigeria. Why can't we support fresh breed of politician?

and the NJC would have constituted election tribunal the following day. a tribunal made up of corrupt judges that will subvention the will of the people and give the country back to thieves!!!

and that's how you would have lost at the end of the day.

those loopholes are there in the constitution for a reason. the CJN should have stepped down to allow the next in line to chair the NJC and decide if he's guilty or not. since he doesn't want to step down the CCT had to suspend him

highpriestess:

If only ladies will start applying some little sense after seeing how you men describe them after begging to sleep with them.
I'm sure you knelt down and promised her heaven and earth so that she can allow you put only the head. I'm sure you also gave her your life savings but the way you will come here to scribble bunkum just to garner some schmuck appraisals from uncouth talibans still amazes me.

Some of you Nigerian men are very much disgusting, immature, loud, lousy.
Geese!!!
If girls haven't learnt from the past one year you guys have been ranting and displaying your idiocy on this site, then the said lady is doomed.

You men are the biggest who're one can think of; worst is that you guys do with impunity, but believe me, some women are actually coming out stronger, this whoring thing is the new revolution on the female gender since you guys think is right to body shame women after doing the same thing with them.

Some of you guys have crayon dicks, sagged balls, the hole on the tip of your dick is so wide than the express way due to excessive cum, 1 minute men, very smelly putrid balls, but ladies hardly say bad about guys when they sleep with you men.

Every man has 53 litres of sperm to produce in his life span, but some of you have used 50l and not even married. Some of you no longer produce thick cum, your cum has become so transparent that it can't even impregnate a woman, cos of used and reused dick.
Let me stop here, but just know that this act of being lousy on social media is pitifully irritating and I believe ladies are so much learning( if only ladies can work their asses out, and stop depending on guys money, and parents stop depending on their daughters getting married to rich in law who would give them everything; something they didn't work for when they were young, then, most ladies will actually see the fact that some of you loud and uncouth men have little or no input)

Ps: my comment is for the loud and ill mannered men like this guy, I believe there are much mature men out there.

are you sure you are not the girl he's refering to? you are taking it very personal

softer landing? the mumu guy is stylishly hitting on a married woman and you want her to blush and agree a stranger could have been an option to replace someone she has been in love with for over 5yrs?

YORUBAS : Jonathan allowed people to loot he is corrupt.

Q: wow, he allowed loot, but nigeria's economy was the best across Africa and cost of living was cheaper for the masses under his tenure, even naira had more value then than now.
Yes or no ?
YORUBAS: yes... but buhari is fighting corruption.

Q: so how has his "corruption fight" helped the masses and u as an individual?, cost of living is now high, price of things tripled in the market
And what about Ganduje's $5M bribe saga,

Just imagine his warped mindset. That you're living on your salary doesn't mean another person is living and dependent on their salaries. At Onnoghen's age, he can have businesses that generate income for him.

As long as no corruption case has been found on him then he is innocent and his money is clean.
if he's innocent and clean why will he declare 1naira when he has 7naira in his account?

the law doesn't excuse forgetfulness in asset declaration. if you forget to declare you are still commuting an offence!!!

Moreover do you really believe he forgot to declare more than 6/7 of what he has in his account? really?
