After going through the write up. I can totally see the sense in the message. I agree that Nigerians watch more social content this is simply as a result of poor quality educatiional tv programs.

The television is a big space and there are no reasons for us to set limits for ourselves. If we decide to focus solely on educational content i'm very sure a foreigner will come in and take advantage of that opportunity.(for all i know, the orgnizers of bbn may even be whites)

I think we should understand that this is business and we should know our real problem is lack of quality content. So far i know, the only educational content that has had a wide spread of audience is the "who wants to be a millionaire " which is an international program

What this goes to say is that the root of this problem is lack of quality content. I'm quite sure with a good marketing and quality program, the audience will watch be it educational, social or political content.

Nice comment you have there. But I'd say we shouldn't even allow options aside from the first you mentioned.
My wife is a medical doc and I remember the first thing she asked me during our courtship (stylishly though) was my genotype. Na dem dey treat these kids but even many of them ain't willing to take chances.

you may feel the first option is the only one you can pull off. But there are others out there willing to consider some of those other ones. buttom line knowing what works for you.

I cant go through any of your post without seeing the hatred you have for this girl. come on. I undswestand its annoying being that she is a nurse but cut her some slack and face your stupid brother they are both old for nothing, if he really think that one god will change it then he must be foolish.

Best you can do is talk to them. seat the both of them down and let them know the 4 options they have available to them.

First option is totally forget about the marraige.

Second is to proceed with it but instead they use a modern IVF technique to eliminate the chance of children having the disease.

Third option will be to conceive in the regular way, and then undergo chorionic villus sampling during the pregnancy. The cells are then checked for the disease. Parents may then consider elective pregnancy termination if the foetus is found to be affected by sickle-cell anaemia.

Last option will be to adopt.

But from you little narration about your brother i believe the 3rd option immoral to his belief, he will also be nonchalant about the second option since he is that way toward the genotype thing in the first place. And i believe the last option will be a wrong one for him too since he cares so much about where his mates are that he isnt, its easy to conclude he will believe his mate have children of their own therefore he wants one of his own too.
Which leaves us back to the first option. let them walk away.

please if you cant communicate this well with them refer them to my post, proceeding without a plan is a setup for heatbreak.

From the little I have watched this week and the updates here. The house has divided into 2.

Team t boss and debie

Team efe, bisola, bally and marvis

For team T boss/Deb to win, one person has to leave on Sunday. If debie leaves her votes goes go tboss and vice versa.

I was really hoping biggie let housemate save a hm. Knowing it will be marvis or bally. That way either debie or tboss goes home.

I think letting go of one; tboss or Debbie is the only chance we might have of winning the finals.

Im glad u see him as fair.. I can also assume that when he goes into the diary to nominate Tboss Week in week out, u shouldnt see it as hate, but about being true to what he believes about the person.
I'm fairly certain most people would not be able to deal with Tboss as a close friend. Like I said previously, she has a good heart, thats why she believes she doesn't do things to hurt people.. But her actions are pretty frustrating and annoying.. U lose a task and complain many times even to the point of tears, u rarely partake in general discussions, but prefer to call one person aside to gist with, u don't dance, u complain first when u are given a task to do and need to be cajoled and cajoled before taking up roles. I watched as she was begged to act in previous weeks. Pranks that make people laugh can make Tboss cry. U complaim bitrerly about not being HOH as if others dont wanna win also. I think the best thing would have been to put Tboss at arms length, but I'm certain people will call this hate.
Housemates did not know themselves prior to entering the house. so no man entered to hate Tboss. If she was as talented as TTT,Bisola or Debbie-Rise u could have said they were hating on her talent.
Tboss is beautiful, but no one is hating on her because of her best either..I want to believe it might be a cultural thing.

FYI I don't hate Tboss..

I am infact a fan of her good side. But i don't hesitate to mention her ugly side. You are very right about this.
