I work with a transportation company, I make more than 600k monthly by managing the vehicles as my salary. What reputable financial institution can I get a loan/advance on the salary I am expecting?

Online microfinance banks have ridiculous interest rates and Nigerian banks are known to be very unwilling to give out loans. what can I do?

I am loooking for an advance or loan with reasonable interest and flexible payment system on an amount I am sure to get, which financial institution can I get it from that is trusted and doesn't engage in suspicious activities?
What stops you from taking the loan from your employer, or even ask for salary advance?

Blame Kee you there, why can't the federal government allow these same states to control their resources? When it come to sharing resources cake the FG takes the centre stage, but when it comes to responsibilities they chicken out and play the blame game.

I wonder why people still fall prey to these greedy bookmakers crash, aviator, and virtual traps. These games are designed to drain your finance nothing else.

Yes with normal sports betting you can exploit these bookies, but as soon as they notice you, they will kick you out and close your accounts. With sports betting winners are not welcomed.

With an unrestricted bet365 or 1xbet account I can flip $100 to $1800k in at most 5 months, but they will never allow me do that, they will close that account 1xbet will even withhold my funds too, but they will shower me with bonus offers once they detect that I'm a blind and normal gambler.

Jakarta, disco does not care about my complaint as it is! I can complain until the cows come home and they still wouldn't care about my complaint. So why are you now asking me "why should they care about your complains" when I know they don't care about my complaint already?

It is my own opinion that they are in the business of protecting their capital and making profits, and I do believe they are achieving that goal, because if they were not achieving that goal, they might indeed care about my complaint. But they obviously do not care about my complaint, so I too don't care about their complaint.

Do know that a business' duty to a customer may be very different to the duty a customer expects from a company. I may think a company has a duty to deliver a service to me, but the company itself might see its duty as stealing from me.
Lost cause I'm tired of Elim5 to you, good night.

budaatum:
Sorry, but I don't care if disco complain for whatever reason they want to complain.

If they want me to care about their complaining, they should first care about my own complaining by performing their so called duty. But as it is, and as far as I am concerned, they can cry blood if they want, I did not send them and I'm not even looking their side.

Please know that "performing their duty" to me is providing me with uninterrupted electricity 24-7-30, and not this band crap! I need light always, and I am willing to pay if they deliver.
Then what is the essence of these epistles all this while? Perform your duties of providing me the service and I will reciprocate the gesture by paying for it shikena.

Lol!! since according to you a business duty is protecting their capital and making profits, why should they care about your complains? They are already performing their duty, by way of you paying for darkness. Guy you funny.

They should stop complaining of people not paying cost reflective tarrifs, when they themselves are not performing their duties simple as that.

You seem to be having some serious difficulty understanding that I agree with you that if disco cheat you by asking you to buy meter, you will steal from them by illegally connecting wire to steal their electricity.

So I am going to now ignore you until you show you understand.

Good day Jakarta.
Lol!! you are the one not getting it, and it is clearly obvious now. Go through all my comments I've always mentioned discos performing their duties, which provision of meters is part of these duties. If you say don't have money to perform these responsibilities of yours, then manage what you see.
Such a waste of time and effort on my part beating a dead horse.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Why Power Trips Off Whenever It Rains In Nigeria by Jakarta: 5:51pm On Feb 03
I don't blame discos from switching power off when it rains. Many homes don't have circuit breakers and thunder resistants these can lead to disaster is there is no power outage.

I remembered October last year when it rained thunder and brimstone, even with a power outage I heard a very loud gunshot like noise from my AC, the circuit breaker in my room was immediately triggered and everything went off, 2 electric poles powering an industrial line collapsed on a church, an S&P cable from a transformer fell on the ground, with water everywhere.

With water being a good conductor of electricity I couldn't imagine the disaster that would have happened that day if there was no power outage.

Simple read it loud so it gets into your head. In as much they (Discos) don't provide these meters, and other equipments (which is their responsibility) then OYO. Manage what you see be it beating during disconnection, hanging after disconnection, etc OYO is their name.

Do you seriously think I could possibly write all that without reading it like 10 times?

If you read my comments you'd stop saying "I", and instead say "we".

Disco is not playing their part, so we don't play ours. We are not mumu who play our part with discos who don't play their part.
Were you aware that same Kaduna Electric was owning over ₦600m in tax to the state? The simple solution provide prepaid meters (the responsibility of DisCos) and stop looking for customers to extort with your dubious estimated bills. In as much as you don't provide these meters then OYO.

Actually, you are the one doing it.

You want discos to supply you electricity at a rate that is 'cheap' , which in the real world isnt how it works

If discos are not making a profit, that means there won't be enough money to give you good power supply

Better face reality son.

Good morning
Is ₦209.50 above cost reflective tarrifs or not? I pay you way above cost reflective tarrifs, and you still want me to handle your responsibilities of providing transformers, poles, cables, and handle the cost of maintaining them, who is the thief here, and who is wanting to reap where he did not sow? You are the one running from reality.
PoliticsRe: South Africa Restores Power to Nigeria High Commission after debts payment by Jakarta: 7:34am On Feb 03
budaatum:
More than two is playing this game is the point.

Discos are thieves. They are robbing you when they make you pay for transformers and meter and poles and send you estimated bills, get that in your head.

You are a thief too. You are stealing when you connect wire and steal electricity, get that in your head too. And be patient, because it's not the accusation you think it is because your stealing is very small and insignificant.

You must have read the link I posted that government owes discos ₦4.4T. Basically government is stealing from discos so discos are stealing from you who elected that government by making you pay for poles and transformer and your meter, which is theft.

If government paid discos, that same government will be in a position to protect you from disco stealing from you. But we elect thieves. And those thieves can not hold the discos accountable. And the discos have no incentive to provide us with light they know we will steal. And to reduce their loss due to theft, they steal from you by making you pay for their infrastructure up front because they can.

The consequence of all this theft and stealing is of course darkness. Because, no matter how much you steal, you can't have light when there isn't any to steal. And to be sincere with you, that's the greatest theft, and from you not having light. Because you not having light is a theft of your potential and all you could have done if you did have light.

Solution? Elect government that pays its electric bill so they can stop discos from stealing from you so you don't use disco theft as an excuse for being a thief. Because disco is obviously recuperating its investment and profit and loss due to theft from somewhere, and it's by stealing from you by making you pay for poles and transformer and meter and by increasing the payment of those who pay their bill, or the discos wouldn't be in business anymore. It really is that simple. Funny thing is, for government to pay its bill, it must steal from you in the form of tax. But I guess that's nation building for you. Someone must steal from someone.

Now, this all is not about you personally stealing, because I do understand why you would steal. I steal too because my disco is so useless that it has to steal from me to mitigate its losses due to its incompetence of not having government pay their bill. I have an old meter in one of my homes that I can wind back so it reads less, and I make sure it is read every month when I'm home so I can get a bill.

What the South Africa disco have done is basically tell the Nigeria High Commission to not steal their electricity and just pay their bill or be in darkness. And I hope we learn from them one day because our theft has consequences and darkness is not cheap.

As for my business, I don't do theft business that discos do, and neither does Dangote. We deliver our service and we get paid. And that pay covers investment and refinery building and expenses of getting my gari to market and a decent profit on top, because that is what good business is. And we don't let thieves steal from us neither, and even hedge for loss due to those who might steal from us, because I am definitely not going to let my business get ruined due to theft like the discos are not letting theirs.
What stops Nigerians Discos from disconnecting governments that don't pay their bills? Are you even reading your own comments, If Discos play their part, why shouldn't I play mine?
