This is one of the craziest incidents in the entire history of aviation. The co-pilot apparently launched a knife attack on his captain, and stabbed him multiple times before crew and passengers managed to break in the cockpit door and subdue the co-pilot who apprently intended to crash the aircraft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj6xS21afX0 |
Dogalmighty17:That is a very informed observation you have made. Interestingly US President Donald Trump also suffers from fluid buildup in his legs, while it is rumored that he also wears adult diapers due to his suffering from fecal incontinence. Medical issues aside, Atiku is one of the most prolific treasury looters ever to occupy high office in Nigeria, AND he is also a known sponsor of terrorist kidnapping gangs who have now turned Nigeria into a basket case lawless nation that international travelers are strongly advised to avoid visiting. |
This incident that went down 4 months ago in my favorite American city - San Diego, illustrates that even a lowly PEN, grasped menacingly in the hand of a person ignoring police orders to drop it, can result in the person holding the pen getting shot multiple times. In this instance, a woman who was clearly under the influence of a powerful drug, disregarded repeated orders to drop her pen, and wound up getting hit twice in a barrage of six pistol shots fired by a police officer. Amazingly, the woman remained on her feet despite getting hit twice by gunfire, and was only subdued with the use of a massive electric shock from a taser, which finally made her fall to the ground. Anyone who wonders why police officers tend to fire multiple shots when being charged by an armed suspect, this video clip is eloquent testimony about how impervious to pain a drug crazed suspect can become. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOmaMes2dio |
Two thousand men is four BATTALIONS of deadly trained militants with infantry weapons. This is a job for drones and ground attack aircraft. Once adequate surveillance has been conducted from the air and the precise location of this terrorist formation is known, then the Nigerian Airforce should rain ordnance down on the virgin hunters to vaporize them all in place. |
The two most cherished hobbies in South African townships are (1) Getting blind drunk, and (2) Shooting their guns at each other. The only surprise therefore, is that we do not hear of a mass shooting in South Africa on a daily basis. More power to them with their deadly hobbies. I have never set foot there, and never will, so this sort of news is to me nothing more than light entertainment. |
Westves:Village people on the rampage haha. I must say, though, that the sheer number of Americans that are suicidal is baffling. While millions of would-be immigrants to the USA are certain that all their problems will vanish once they make it into the USA, so many who were born in the USA are so fed up of life that they DEMAND for police officers to shoot them dead. |
After viewing quite a few of these police shootings from all over America, it is alarming to note how many people FORCE the police to kill them by approaching officers with a deadly weapon, while ignoring multiple warnings to stop the attack and drop the weapon. This particular incident that occurred just last year in Texas is one in which a lady police officer appeared on the scene where a man had crashed his car into the mud on the shore of a lake. Presuming that the driver of the crashed car might be injured and needing help, the police officer belatedly spotted a knife in the belt of the accident victim, who suddenly charged at the officer, forcing her to fire first one, and then a second shot, to kill the attacker. The stress in the voice of the officer is palpable, as she reluctantly drops the deranged attacker dead in his tracks. ' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_N2_-r49jYU |
IbeOkehie:Genocidal anarchy sometimes erupts overnight, but more often, it flares up with increasing frequency wherever the drifting embers of irate public disaffection fall, as the vengeful poor begin to stalk and devour not only the rich, but also the marginally less impoverished. |
IbeOkehie:There is so much truth in these words you have written. Any person whose appearance gives even the slightest hint of having escaped poverty would be wise to avoid neighborhoods, and indeed entire countries, where poverty is widespread, lest one fall victim to predators crazed with hunger, jealousy or just simmering, volatile rage over their lot in life. The current epidemic of kidnapping in Nigeria is arguably the most terrifying manifestation of poverty's homicidal contempt for perceived wealth. The number of kidnap victims in Nigeria who wind up tortured to death, often while being filmed, AFTER ransoms have been paid, stands in stark and sobering testimony to this undeclared demographic war that ravages Nigeria and other comparable Third World backwaters. |
IbeOkehie:That disparity between the very rich and the very poor is most evident in the cities of Nigeria. Lagos frightens me. On the rare occasions that I go there, my head is on a swivel as I glance left and right in fear of sudden attack by any of the desperate hungry people I see sizing me up the instant I get there. It is exhausting, just having to be in such a state of heightened vigilance. I feel like a hunted animal whenever I find myself in Lagos, even though I don't look wealthy, and do not travel in any expensive vehicles. |
Mandem05:Haba baa magana, Megida. Na gworo and man power me I dey sell fwa market. Nsha Allah me sef I gwo see felenty money one day, come enter yanga moto like you. |
Mandem05:Sank you, my pellow kwantiri-mans. Make I use broken language explain am for you. If you be bigi money man for Nigeria, and you like to dey enter fine yanga moto any time when you ready to go out, take small money rent policeman when go carry big gun dey follow you pursue any area boys when fit try to block road because of to collect money for ya hand. If you know say you no ready to rent police wey dem go fiti dey protect you for inside yanga moto, na to enter old moto when no fine, na him remain, IF you get sense for head. Money man when mistake go enter yanga moto for any journey inside Nigeria, but who no come gree rent police to follow am, go take eye see shege for dat road. Hungry dey outside, and area boys dem eye don dey red. Make you no mistake go test dem o. Now, my broda, I don take broken explain how the ting be for Nigeria. If you like, make you kukuma go face area boys witi ya yanga moto, and den forget to let police follow you, make you take know say no be lie when I dey lie for you here today. |
shekauvsbuhari:Actually I have never once voted for any candidate in any election in any part of the world, over the course of my entire life thus far. |
onuman:The barbaric tortures presented as "justice" under the Sharia theocratic model are indeed terrifying to contemplate. That said, the denial of formal education to generations of northern Nigerians, by their elected leaders who looted treasuries with reckless abandon, is arguably the main reason why Islamist terror took hold in northern Nigeria with such rapid ease and tenacity. Legions of illiterate adults crazed by hunger make willing recruits for the bloodthirsty kidnap gangs now proliferating across the entire nation, after taking root amid the man-made intellectual desert of northern Nigeria. Hopefully it will not be too late for the Nigerian leadership to emulate the Italian initiative with a view to legislatively taming the Islamist monster, before it is too late. |
smallsmall:My existentialist belief system is anchored to the pragmatic concept of recognizing the distinction between the way things should be, and the way they are in reality. In other words, while I would love to see Nigeria become a safe playground for the super-rich to display their toys, I also concede that I am powerless to single-handedly introduce law-abiding peaceful decorum to a nation of 200 million fellow travelers in the midst of a biting economic recession. All valid reasons for the status quo in Nigeria notwithstanding, it is factual to describe Nigeria as one of many places on this planet where the very rich would be wise to conceal obvious trappings of their wealth in all instances where they intend to mingle with the impoverished majority. Mexico and Venezuela are good examples of lawless lands where kidnappers reign, forcing the rich to tenure armed protection at all times, while paying close attention to the wisdom of staying low-key and flying under the public's radar. |
onuman:There are indeed correlations between the Islamist agenda that was initially imposed on Nigeria during President Obasanjo's time, and the emerging Islamist threat to Italy's secular governmental structure that is now being addressed in a decisive manner with the rejection of Islamist disguises, in a bold step which is likely to be the first of several sanity restorative measures yet to be taken in Italy. |
Wstation:The rich who love flaunting their cash to impress desperate hungry people rarely bother reading online forums like this one. All the wisdom that they acquire is thus from The School of Hard Knocks. |
LZAA:I am awaiting brain transplant surgery. A willing baboon donor is being hunted as I type these words. |
qtx:What seems like "entitlement" from your perspective is pure urban survival instinct in my book. Anyone who wears a Rolex watch in some areas of Los Angeles, is asking for a violent mugging, just as anyone driving a flashy car in some parts of Lagos, is tempting fate. |
codemaniacs:Haha I ask myself this same question now and then. |
Sirianese:Lagos is indeed an undeclared war zone. I can count on the fingers of one hand how many times I set foot there in the past decade. |
codemaniacs:Amen to that sir. You are the symphony director of my destiny. Everything you declare, will surely come to pass. |
codemaniacs:I just pray make that rich man no go take yanga wake trouble for where him dey sleep jeje. |
codemaniacs:Thank you kindly for this compliment. |
PapalsBull:Those hysterical demands for Sharia amputation "law" in Europe, and the hideous dress code of those Batman impersonators, has the effect of demonizing ALL non-white immigrants to Europe, which in turn encourages moderate Europeans to embrace far-right ideologies that promote mass deportation of ALL foreign born people REGARDLESS of their religion or willingness to assimilate Western values and norms. |
CrownedPhoenix:In the absence of adequate security, discretion is the better part of valor. Hide your money when you are surrounded by poverty, if you value your life over the need to show off. |
ElevationD:I agree with every word you have written here, and this is why I only ever set foot in Lagos when I need to catch an international flight. Lagos is a very scary place for this village boy who knows Southern California's freeways like the back of my hand. |
PapalsBull:Rather than leave and return to their septic tank nations, they hope to forcibly impose their backwardness on European nations. |
Franking:When the area boys see firepower and heavy security, they keep their distance. Anyone who is NOT moving with that kind of heavy security must use common sense to avoid triggering hungry people who are prone to getting violent in an instant. |
xxgig:Nobody is disputing the source of that well paid football players wealth. His displaying that wealth in a Third World country places him at risk of continuous harassment by beggars, or worse, kidnapping that could send him to the grave even after ransom has been paid. |
