An eye opening thread here
I still think going abroad legally is better than staying here tho. The challenges faced there are a little compared to what people face here everyday.

ziga: How can Nigerians in diaspora help Nigerians in Nigeria to migrate?
They are not customs and immigration na.
Nobody will be open about helping especially if the person to be helped is trying to do something illegal.
For example, anybody will be selective about who he or she will recommend for a job in their office and you will make sure that their CV and their behavior is correct. There's possibility of Nigerians helping fellow Nigerians but we have got bad attitude and racking brains towards each other. Nigerian have bad reputation here in UK. I see how Zimbabwes help themselves here. why would ours be different and that boils down to why we don't want to help cos the story will never end. Lemme start blowing my whitlse |

If it's dat terrible why are u still there?
You enjoy the benefits of living in an organised society, knowing fully well that naija is a difficult place to live.
Are u scared of the competition the new immigrants will bring?

AnnaGray: It's not strictly about the money. A person must have something though. Some combination of money and mindset. You can be broke, but if you have a positive mindset, goals, dreams, and the ability, then that is ok.
A negative mindset, and broke, no way. No one likes a loser. Keep lying and deceiving this guy's here.. But am not going to fall for those lies and craps you telling. |
