pleep: We didnt start or necessitate it, You guys did. Remember that.Yeah, I forgot that everything in the world that has ever happen to black people is white peoples fault. /sarcasm. |
alumnidoggz:I know! |
pleep: That was a damn good video... i really liked the part were he talked about sell-out african women dating Chinese men. Real talk, we need to ostracize black females who date outside of their race. They are such lowlife traitors.Blablabla. In the dark we all look the same. To a blind man, there aint no colour. Why this fixation on colours and race? |
Missy B! Ooooh, I dont hear that one for loooong ![]() |
~Royal~:Lol. This one I love.. ![]() |
soledadd: We are already putting some plans on ground on how to establsh a lucrative business down here then he will traveling occassionally.Sort of the same as us.. ![]() I wish you all the luck. |
soledadd: With God all things are possible. you should be hapi you have a kid. You can cope if you have the zeal and are ready to face reality. Your own is just 6 months. I usually stay up to 2yrs before i see mine. We have been married since 4yrs. God blessed me with a girl and a boy and am happy. Although i miss my husband so much, his personality has helped me to endure. He is very caring and God fearing. I am hapily married, even happier than those with their husbands. If I am able to go down there in 6months, it will only be 6. If not, it will be 9-12months. I am starting to save as soon as I find a job.. I do believe marriages like that CAN work. It just depends on the people involved. I know my husband stresses more about this than me like I said; Its easier for me, having the baby around me. Its double for him.. How long will you and your spouse continue with this? |
dulaman: Patience is a virtue. Thats if you two can exhibit it.I know that I can, and I trust my husband that he also can. |
The first and the last, yes, the rest got me stressed..Lol.. ![]() Another one from me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHyc0VZU7H4&list=PL6BCF7DA911EC55B4&index=2&feature=plpp_video Norwegian reggae ![]() ( Well..Admiral P is half zambian, half norwegian And I feel like I should explain these girls and people: When youths graduate in Norway, they have a BIG three-week-celebration, they group up in five-25 people on each their own bus, that has their own name. This song was made for an all-girl-buss named Jammin - 2008. This partying continue from 1 May until our liberation day 17th May. ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7qd0UJ41Eg&feature=BFa&list=PL6BCF7DA911EC55B4 I just love this one..wooooh. Admiral P and his crew, Jah Ark Manifest, used to play at a club every sunday before they got fammous outside the underground invorement, and this was one of the songs they always played.. wooop! |
~Royal~:She my favourite too ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqjnIcD2Kes Same girl. All real butts, yes ![]() |
thiendella: Very sad indeed! It's even worse for serer people, A teacher in High school used to say that in 2050 there will not be serers anymore in senegambia because they will all assimilate into wolof. But wolofisation is slower for toucouleurs because most of them hate speaking wolof. My toucouleur friends always speak fula among themselves even when i'm in the room and have no clue about what they're saying. I've already seen a father beat his kid because he was speaking wolof at homeFor me, that becomes a little..too much. Both of the examples. If I am sitting with people who do not speak Norwegian, I try to talk much english, so they can be part of the conversation. My husband grew up with 90% fulas around him, still he speaks wolof, mandinga, and some Jola. |
thiendella: Same here, i Senegal languages like pular and serer diola mandinka tend to disapear because of a general "wolofization" of people living in big cities. People do not speak their mother tongues anymore but just wolof. However, toucouleur people are known to be very close to their culture, they generally don't marry outside their tribe and speak only pular among themselves. They are the most conservative tribe in senegambia.I saw that one in some cases is Gambia. MMost of the people who where fulani, and only speak wolof, grew up in wolof compounds, and had maybe only one person around them who spoke fula. Its very sad, as fula is no longer in writing form. It is very hard to find ANY books written in fulani, and I would love to have that in my home. I do hope and pray that people of all tribes and heritage treasure their own language, and try to keep it as much as they can. Children books, novels etc should come in every damn language if you ask me ![]() And, when people marry someone who do not speak their own language and they have kids; make sur to teach your kids your own language as well. |

Woooh, we went out to dance every wednesday and sunday, reggae and dancehall. Now I am shaking to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ai3BDU1FZs&feature=related |
floran-bee:I have faith in this, but only because we have a good foundation. He is a truly good man, and a good father. I do not believe he would do anything to risk loosing us either. |
deybowlah: Wow! I love your response poster, it brought tears to my eyes.Thank you ![]() I am trying to plan a suprise-visit in December, cause our baby is still small enough to travel for free..just depends if I find work soon enough here, I have started looking ![]() I just cant wait for next summer, moving to HIS country with him, instead of living in MY country..I love our house, his family, and the way things work down there. And I am sure your husband is damn excited now..hehe.. |
So many responses, and similar stories, it makes me believe in this even more. I know it takes much to pull this through, and I feel like I am walking around with a constant grief..will it calm down?? |
zeefever: What are you doing on Nairaland?I came in here on a discussion about fulanis. And I liked it, so I stayed. Why are YOU here? |
MLS12: Re u guys on BB,or yahoo?so u can always chat.I had a distant relationship kept it burning by constant chat and calls.Hope u save a lot for dis one year.plus me and my hubby re relocating 2 norway next month, stavenger.d accomodation re quite expensive.we got one for 11000nok.Take careThe prices in NOrway are insane..thats why he wish to get a good job here later on, so we dont have to flip every coin. No BB or yahoo..facebook, phone and skype. I do believe that even with only phone, and sending pics over e-mail, we will be good. More hard for him than me.. |
fm7070: it's like you guys are not african, or doesn't know the ethics of marriage. So because we are planning for the future means I dont need him..? Put it like this; If we did NOT do this, I would probably end up as a single mother, cause the father did not wanted to do anything with his life for his daughter. |
