In fact he was the one who chaired the shambolic privatization of Nigeria's electricity discos after it was retrieved from the previous shambolic privatization by Atiku. Not just that, Peter Obi was fingered as the master planner behind Madueke's corruption, as confessed by the arrested Fidelity MD Okonkwo.

Meanwhile, Tinubu didn't rule you or your papa nor was he part of any federal administration. So what's the cry about exactly? Na ment? You had better face those who govern you and leave people who didn't govern you alone if you don't want curse in your life.

Realist12:
Lol, so is it Obi that couldn't leave any remarkable project for his successor in Anambra to inherit that he's saying we should bank our hopes on ?
He couldn't even influence his successors because he's a political prostitute who doesn't know how to build or maintain an ideology, he benefited from Ojukwu political dynasty but abandoned it for political prostitution , only to come up with caricature mentees, someone check out LP presidential spokesperson, except you want FS Yusuf, Rinu, Tunde ednut etc to be your ministers and special advisers to the President then you can vote Obi ,known for a fact that all Obiano did in Anambra was started from the scratch because Obi didn't leave anything remarkable behind just talks about leaving money behind yet debunked by Obiano, the difference between Tinubu and Obi is clear , whilst one is building political ideology ,Instititions and mentees one inherited a political ideology couldn't preach and expand it but felt the ideology doesn't have a national appeal so he abandoned it for a greener pasture. You wonder why his kids are living outside the country and most Obidients probably living outside Anambra . The fact is Anambrians prefer Lagos style of governance like most other Nigerians. The only difference is they are supporting Obi for tribal sentiments.

Obi needs to be sent back to Anambra so he can develop Anambra first before coming to the national level.
Prodigal sons and political prostitutes are not healthy for Nigerian politics.
Soludo is right , Obi's brand of politics is selfish and opportunistic .
One thing i noticed about Obi supporters is they have their own imaginary kind of democracy, Soludo has every right to say whatever he feels is right, likewise Pa Adebanjo and critics of Atiku . You don't go about attacking everyone for having a different perspective.
Obidients will force Obi to step down in order to let peace reign.
Lie with conscience, bro.

PETER OBI ACHIEVEMENTS

Under Peter Obi, Anambra was the first State to commence Sub-Sovereign Wealth savings, the first of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa.

At a time many other Governors were leaving huge debts, Peter Obi left the equivalent of $500 million Dollars in investment as well as local and foreign currency, including $156 million in Dollar-denominated bonds.

Under Peter Obi, For the first time in the history of Anambra State, Ambassadors and High Commissioners of notable countries such as United States, Britain, Russia, European Union, South Africa, Belgium, Israel, the Netherlands, Canada, among others, visited the State.
Before Peter Obi tenure, Anambra was practically a pariah state blacklisted by the Diplomatic Corps and international development partners. Development partners such as UNDP, UNICEF, the World Bank, DFID, the European Union etc., which hitherto were not in Anambra State started working with the State.

Anambra was consistently adjudged one of the best states in development partnership and commitment to reforms for good governance.

Peter Obi was recognised as Best Governor by the Millennium Development Goals Office (OSSAP-MDGs) and the UNDP in the implementation of their programmes in Nigeria.

Under him, Dr. Magnus Kpakol of NAPEP said Anambra was the No 1 in terms of reduction in poverty.

The Nigerian Debt Management Office (DMO) rated Anambra as the least indebted state in Nigeria. In spite of visible and measurable achievements recorded in various sectors, the State under Peter Obi did not borrow or raise bonds for her various projects.

Under Peter Obi, the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria rated Anambra State as the most financially stable state in the country.

Peter Obi ground-breaking return of schools to their original owners – Voluntary Agencies (Churches) on 1st January 2009, and subsequent partnership with the Agencies in Education, saw the State move from 24th position out of 36 States to Number One in National Examination Council (NECO) and West African Examination Council (WAEC) examinations for three consecutive years. This made the World Bank to commission a study, led by the renowned Prof. Paul Collier of Oxford University, on this revolutionary partnership and phenomenal achievement.

Peter Obi also entered into strategic partnership with the Churches in the Health sector. This symbiotic relationship resulted in a tremendous boost to health care because of the services offered by health institutions owned by Voluntary Agencies, while the State restored grants to the agencies and made available to them more than 50 million Dollars in various types of support.

Through partnership with the Church in the Health sector, Peter Obi Government funded the transformation of -:
a: Iyienu Hospital, Ogidi;

b: Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala;

c: St Charles Borromeo Hospital, Onitsha;

d: Holy Rosary Hospital, Waterside, Onitsha; and

e: St. Joseph Hospital, Adazi-Nnukwu.

His Government also built the Joseph Nwilo Heart Centre in St. Joseph, Adazi-Nnukwu, where heart operations are now being performed.

His Government won the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (1 Million dollars) as the best-performing state in immunisation in the South-East. With complementary funding from our Government, they used the money to build 10 Maternal and Child Care Centres across the State, particularly in rural communities, in partnership with the Churches.

During Peter Obi tenure, The State was the first to procure and distribute more than 30,000 computers to secondary schools, including 22,500 from HP. The Managing Director for Personal Systems Group HP Inc, Mr. FabriceCampoy described the deployment as the biggest of such projects in the Middle-East and Africa.

Anambra State Government provided Microsoft Academies to more than 500 secondary schools, which the Head of Microsoft in Nigeria (Mr. Ken Span) described as the biggest such deployment in Africa so far.

The State provided Internet access to more than 500 secondary schools, which the CEO of Galaxy Backbone (Mr. Gerald Ilukwe) characterized as incomparable to any in the country.

Peter Obi's government provided More than 700 buses to secondary schools in the State.

Boreholes were provided in schools all over the State.

Numerous classrooms were built in all the 177 communities of the State.

As part of the efforts to turn around the economy of the State, Peter Obi attracted a number of companies to build their facilities in the Anambra State. A case in point is SABMiller, the 2nd largest brewery in the world, which built their first Green Field facility in the State, which is today one of the most successful facilities they operate globally.

A number of other companies followed the SABMiller initiative and were all supported and encouraged under Peter Obi Government; a good example is INNOSON Motor Manufacturing Company, from which our government bought more than 1,000 vehicles.

Anambra State for the first time started close collaboration with recognized government security agencies (the Police, Army, Navy, Department of State Security, Civil Defence, among others), offering them various types of support including provision of more than 500 security vehicles. The improvement in security was phenomenal, such that the former IG of Police (Abubakar Mohammed) lauded Anambra State for not witnessing any bank robbery in my last three years in office.

To further enhance security, Anambra State provided at least one security vehicle to each of all the 177 communities in the State as well as various organizations such as markets and Churches.

His Administration conceived and built, from scratch, the first state-owned Teaching Hospital, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu teaching Hospital, Awka.

His Government commenced the planned development of the Igbariam Campus of the ChukwuemekaOdumegwu-Ojukwu University, including the fencing, construction of internal roads, electrification, construction of the Faculty of Law, Auditorium, Administrative Block, Faculty of Agriculture, Management Building, among others).

His Government attracted the World Bank support on erosion – National Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) – to Anambra State.

His Government was the first to do Poverty Mapping in Nigeria, as a guide for the effective implementation of our poverty-alleviation strategies.
His Government, for the first time, undertook the aerial mapping of Awka as well as the production of Structure Plans for Awka Capital Territory, Onitsha and Nnewi.

During Peter Obi tenure and with his Government’s support, Anambra State became an oil producing State.

He built the first Secretariat Complex to house State Government Ministries that were hitherto scattered around the State.

His government commenced the development of the ‘Three Arms Zone’ comprising Government House/Governor’s Lodge, Legislative Building/Speakers Residence, and Judiciary Building with Chief Judge’s Residence.

By the end of Peter Obi tenure in 2014, more than twelve (12) health institutions, including two hospitals, had secured accreditation; when he took off in 2006, no health institution in Anambra State was duly accredited.

Anambra State was the first to undergo national peer review, which scrutinised State Governments for good governance, through the State Peer Review Mechanism (SPRM), an initiative of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum in collaboration with the DFID.

Peter Obi did not borrow shishi to run governance through out his 8 year tenure.

To cap it up, Peter Obi does not collect pension from Anambra State. Peter Obi is a contented man, who even use his personal money to take care of the needy.

Read through this Bible portion where the Almighty God was talking to/about Nigeria many years ago. This prophecy cum promises is coming to fulfillment if we can harken to the voice of wisdom and Vote Wisely by choosing Peter Obi.
Read and see the little interpretations on each of the verses.

May God bless the prophesied incoming President of the Nation, HE Sir Peter Obi and his VP Yusuf Datti

Isaiah 62

1
For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. (Talking about Nigeria generally).
2
The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow. (This is bn referred to other nations of the world).
3
You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. (this is the New Face of Nigeria)
4
No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah ; for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married. (Restoration of the lost glory of Nigeria)
5
As a young man marries a maiden, so will your sons marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. (The citizens will become hot cake to every other nation).
6
I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, (Problems of insecurity will be forgotten. (No more Boko Haram Terrorists. No more UGM. Our Army and Police will become more responsible).
7
and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. (God will hear us whenever we pray to Him. He will not rest till He answers our prayers).
8
The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: "Never again will I give your grain as food for your enemies, and never again will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have toiled; (Our famers will farm and harvest their crops. No more Fulani invaders and killers in the farmlands. Cattles will no longer destroy farmers crops).
9
but those who harvest it will eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary." (A lot of merriment in the land).
10
Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations. (Our roads will be smooth without potholes. Politicians will build good and long lasting roads).
11
The LORD has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: "Say to the Daughter of Zion, `See, your Savior comes! See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.'" (This is talking about the incoming president, HE Mr. Peter Obi).
12
They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted. (Peter Obi bring this promise to fulfillment).

That’s nice

In other news we all should be careful with this ibo president, same thing soludo warned us about is what is staring at us in d face

Hitler like government where contrary opinion is not welcome n any opposing view must b killed or silenced

Mbaka said his mind about peter obi n he was silenced till today

Soludo said d truth n till now they are hell bent on destroying him n even took his name to their shrine

They have started their propaganda against him n many of them vow he must go down.

Imagine one of them saying soludo charges each Keke n bike rider 10k per day….haba
How much do they make per day that they will b paying 10k per day each to government?

Imagine another one saying soludo became a Professor through the back door n he must be jailed?

Imagine different propaganda against d man for saying d truth that everyone already know

So if Peter obi becomes president,we should see white n call it black or else we will b in trouble?

Is that what election should b about?

Today Mynd44 posted fact check about soludo statement on obi n to my greatest surprise many of them are calling for his sack n many of them are threatening to harm him if they see him

Imagine the madness?
Is this what we want to put ourselves into?
The buhari u all like to call dictator did he do this?

The most annoying part of it is that it is the igbos that criticize buhari pass,if buhari n his kinsmen acted d way peter obi n his kinsmen are acting now even when obi is not d president do u think we will have peace?

With this their hitler like approach, imagine if a Fulani man declare peter obi dead don’t u think igbos will do worse?
If you know and believe in truth and justice, you wont be supporting PANDORA TINUBU, a man whose entire life spells criminality.

Politics › Re: Did Poverty In Anambra Rise While Peter Obi Was Governor? - Fact Check by jamace(m): 11:43am On Nov 16, 2022
Mynd44:
Former Central Bank Of Nigeria and Present Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo in an article titled "History beckons and I will not be silent " wrote about the poverty level of Anambra state from 2006 to 2010 while the present Presidential Candidate of the Labor Party, Peter Obi was in his first term as governor of Anambra state.

In an article which many described as either very needless as they claimed Charles Soludo is merely bitter and angry, others praised it as they said it brought into public light numerous false misconceptions by Peter Obi's supporters.

Either way, his comment on the statistics of the poverty level in Anambra, got tongues wagging and fingers typing (mine included) and a lot of people have said the former CBN governor simply lied (but did he?)

Claim: Charles Soludo wrote that "…poverty in Anambra actually grew (from less than 25% in 2005) to about 53% under Peter Obi in 2010/2011 but fell under Willie Obiano to 14.78% in 2020. Yes, poverty more than doubled under Peter Obi and more than 50% of Ndi Anambra were in poverty under him. Go and verify"

This isn't all as he had wrote something similar in 2015 in an article titled "Buhari vs Jonathan: Beyond the Election" where he wrote that "According to the National Bureau of Statistics, poverty rose under his watch in Anambra from 20% in 2004 (lowest in Nigeria then) to 68% in 2010 (a 238% deterioration!)."

These two quotes seem similar but can also be be different as the numbers dont match but if we look closely, in the 2022 letter, he mentioned 2010/2011 which was mostly measured in 2011 and in the 2015 letter, he was specific about the year 2010.

Verification: According to a press briefing By then Statistician General of the federation and lead of the National Bureau of Statistics, Yemi Kale in a press briefing titled "Press Briefing By The Statistician-General Of The Federation/Chief Executive
Officer, National Bureau Of Statictics Dr. Yemi Kale" delivered in February 2012.

Now since the NBS does not release poverty levels per years, we can only judge with the 2010 report

It is seen that the poverty level of Anambra state as at 2010 was at 68% (see image below) which matches the value quoted by Professor Charles Soludo in his 2015 article.

Verdict: The statement by the Anambra state governor, Professor Soludo claiming that the poverty level in Anambra while Peter Obi was governor rose to 68% in 2010 and 53% in 2010/2011 can be said to be true and not an exaggeration.

Also notable is that when Peter Obi responded to Professor Soludo in 2015, he did not refute the poverty percentage.
Under Peter Obi, Dr. Magnus Kpakol of NAPEP said Anambra was the No 1 in terms of reduction in poverty in the federation.
