*Tinubu is seeking to strangle the North.* Written by Sani Sabo, PhD For Arewa Renaissance Group. Giving backdrop of ‘Northern economic exclusion’ in the last 8 years of this administration, the north was looking forward to a manifesto that will reflect levelling-up of the economy by introducing favourable policies and intervention that will ensure dividends of democracy reaches every corner of the country in a fair manner. On the contrary, Tinubu’s manifesto seeks to maintain the status quo, and further plunder the north into eminent collapse. I feel his acclaimed Northern support is like the ropes support a hanging man – its slowly grinding and disingenuous. Any northerner watching Tinubu’s campaign team, is first and foremost greeted with a resounding fear, as our biggest failures from the north – except for very few, mostly our underperforming governors and inept politicians are the people we see around him. This ultimately throws his aspiration into a tenacious state. It makes his whole movement uninspiring, and the youths are nowhere to be found around him, just aged-long politicians only aligned by personal interests. From a Northern perspective, Tinubu’s APC campaign team is a coalition of compromised politicians that have failed in their primary duties. Lest we forget, if the north is to support Tinubu, we will approach him with fear of bias to Lagos, which has already begun in this dispensation. If Tinubu truly supports the North, his manifesto entitled ‘Renewed Hope’ should reflect that. But for anyone that can read pass the epiphanies and graphics, the manifesto itself remains a different beauty. Critically looking at the manifesto, one realises that it seeks to reduce the North into a war ridden region, permanently waiting for hand-outs and social intervention. This is indeed not a progressive idea, and given fluidity of insecurity and underdevelopment, any concern person irrespective of where he may come from should be worried. Before we dive into the manifesto proper, it will be imperative to lay a background. This administration rolled-out various intervention schemes guised as social interventions. Since that approach, we’ve come to realise it was nested on a grotesque economics that is counter-productive, and utterly malnourished of any developmental idea. Why Tinubu seeks the continue with these steps despite all indices proving failure if we give wider consideration a chance - is very alarming. How can people be denied economic prosperity, courtesy of unfavourable policies by this administration, only for the same administration to come around with a scheme that gives them five thousand naira monthly? How do you allow insecurity to go uncheck, but happy to build shacks for internally displaced persons (IDP), and come around to provide aides and incentives for them – and out of notoriety, count that as an achievement? This is the way we look at all the condescending social policies introduced by this administration. All the internally displaced persons will forever prefer to go back to their towns, continue their day-to-day activities in place of handout given to them by this APC administration. Now, when we look at Tinubu’s manifesto and see ‘continuity’ we see a looming north, strangled – thanks to Buhari ineptitude. And if Tinubu wishes to continue from the latter – it is glaring that the north will bleed to coma given the imbalance and obscene practices that has been rationalised in this administration. Onto Tinubu’s manifesto. The manifesto made mention of utilising established instruments of government with particular emphasis on CBN, to create suitable incentives for commercial banks where youths can leverage and access loans, in a quest to drive youth-led entrepreneurship. This is contained in the “Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship” section of the manifesto. This sounds like a brilliant idea, only that it is not novel. This is exactly what the CBN has already been practicing, and most of the intervention coming from the FG under this administration follows this exact pattern. To contextualise the point, recently, the CBN released it first tranche of beneficiaries for a new intervention listed as “100 for 100 PPP” a policy that has been critiqued by this group and nothing has been done so far. Therein, the north has been technically knocked out which we are force to believe is deliberate. From the first tranche of that program, which application processes encapsulate the same format contained in Tinubu’s manifesto, saw that Lagos state benefitted a total sum of 12,760,000,000 billion naira whilst the entire 19 Northern states put together has about N4,500,000,000 billion naira; would this be the type of bias continuity Tinubu thinks the north will welcome again? Any person with contrary view, should properly look at the manifesto and see if there is any difference. The manifesto went ahead to stipulate other youth economic initiatives, and carefully combing through those proposals – hardly was there any novel and tangible idea that seeks to level-up our economy. It is not news that HQ’s of almost all the commercial banks are not in the north, critiquing any intervention will mean application and selection processes are carried out in a different clime all together, making the process unnecessarily cumbersome for any northerner, hence trimming our chances – this has been the case for all the previous programmes such as the example cited herein. If Tinubu manifesto was granular and honest, these institutional bottlenecks ought to be addressed before we feel we are part of his agenda. The statistics are there for everyone to see. How can my application be vetted by a commercial bank ED in Lagos before I have the approval to start a local business in Kankia LGA of Katsina state for example? How is this fair? On the issue of security, Tinubu’s manifesto made mention of creating Anti-terrorist battalions (ABATTS), whose objective shall be to seize the strategic and tactical initiative, giving terrorists, kidnappers, and bandits no respite. For starters, choice of word ‘respite’ is alarming, but moving on, the manifesto further stated targeting economic assistance programs in close collaboration with state Governments and expanding emergency and economic support offered to local communities. Sincerely, the sheer effrontery in this section of the manifesto is astonishing, no mention whatsoever of halting the insecurity challenge, but a great deal into recruiting and adding more military presence across the North just to provide ‘respite’ and providing affected communities with stipends. The plan in a nutshell visualises the north as a war zone and seeks to deepen that. Furthermore, in the same section, the manifesto mentions strengthening civilian assistance and introducing an outreach arm of the armed forces, i.e., the military will be integrated into these programs. Now this is outrightly a poor plan by any measure. If Tinubu will deploy 1 million Army across the north, peace will continue to elude us, if military presence solves insecurity, the north by now will show some decline. What the north really face is ‘economic exclusion’ orchestrated by Tinubu himself, and since his manifesto is not addressing that, our root problem will remain, and going by Tinubu’s idea of solving our insecurity challenge, I am not sure we will even achieve respite, not to talk of solving the problem. “Crime is a social phenomenon – both in its causes and its effects – and penal policy must be seen in the context of wider social and economic marginalisation and exclusion.” To solve our insecurity challenge, it will be worthwhile to consider relationship between economic exclusion and crime, and the connection must be examined in a nuanced and unbiased manner. The North aligns with this position. Therefore, any measure that is not seeking to level-up the economy will continue to plunder the economic marginalised section into despair. Tinubu’s manifesto seeks to continue from where this administration stops in marginalising the north, and nest Lagos state with monopoly of economic activity. If this administration has taken time to reconsider northern land border closure, dredging of Baro port, and actual construction of the 3,050 megawatts Mambilla Hydro-Power project at Gembu in Taraba state, chances are we will have a more stable north. We will advise Tinubu, to campaign on a neutral ground, he owes the north wealth of gratitude for availing him fair chance, even as he looked the other way when the nation’s resources were cornered to his state, he should also expunge himself the entitlement of Northern votes, revisit his manifesto to reflect a level-up economy, as the north is not convinced of any hope in his ‘Renewed Hope’ manifesto, all it sees is eminent collapse. At the juncture, it will be handy to ask for self-reflection from Tinubu and his camp about some economic injustices perpetuated by his cronies, and if Tinubu is really a friend to the north and a national leader as he claims, he shouldn’t have sit back and watch National resources cornered to one state at the expense and detriment of other parts of Nigeria, and callously seek to continue the status-quo. Moving forward, Arewa Renaissance group will continue to critique all the candidates, in an attempt to enlighten electorates on who has the best interest of the country at heart. Come and see Tinubu wonder! Tinubu, the Abracadabra Accountant

fk001:So, Atiku is no longer fulani? It is obvious you are fulani, from this outright deception statement..I will teach you the History of the hausas and the fulanis. They are not one. Don;t just use blanket statement to nullify my points. Bring out the ones that are not true let's know. Stop making a slave out of the hausas in the North. The hausas should break free from subtle domination by the fulanis on the basis of religion. The fulanis are not religious at all. Religion is just a coverup for the main intention of the fulanis. I will repeat that, the hausas should vote wisely. Enough of being a second class citizen in the north. |
Jameselias:What is the correct website for this, pls? |
fk001:Keep deceiving the poor Hausas until they are all massacred and exterminated by the marauding fulanis. @fk001, Just few questions for you: 1. Have you seen a fulani boy doing almajiri? None. Only hausa boys are used as religious slaves. The fulani boys are following their fulani fathers in rearing their cows. 2. You said bandits kill muslims too. Please tell me how many fulanis have been killed by bandits/boko haram? None. Only Hausas are killed. 3. Tell me how many fulanis have been kidnapped for ransom? None. Only hausas are kidnapped for ransom. 4. Have you heard that bandits captured fulani women or girls for sex? No. Only Hausa women and girls are captured and raped. 5. Do bandits/boko haram seize farmlands from fulanis? Not at all. Only hausa farmlands are seized. 6. Who do bandits and boko harams turn to bondage of paying taxes in the North? Hausas of course, not fulanis. 7. Why are the fulanis exempted from the menace of bandits and boko harams ? Give your honest answer, pls. 8. Who are those in IDP camps in the North? The Hausas again. So, where are the fulanis in the North? 9. Etc etc etc From the above, it is evident that hausas bear the brunt of insecurity in the North. Why are the fulanis exempted? Because the insecurity is a fulani agenda. Stop deceiving the hausas with religion. Fulanis are not religious. Fulanis use religion as deception to achieve their aims. With these, any hausa that foolishly vote Atiku, a fulani man, on the basis of same religion will remain a perpetual slave to the fulanis. Hausas should chop the money and vote wisely. |

TINUBU POLITICAL STRUCTURE HAS COLLAPSED, EVEN IN THE SOUTH WEST 1. Tinubu political structure collapsed on the day he denied that Fulanis/bandits were not killing the Yorubas, "where are the cows". Tinubu because of political power desperation, abandoned his people in their time of need. His people will abandon him in his bid too. 2. Tinubu political structure collapsed the day he failed to show solidarity with Sunday Igboho who was imprisoned by FGN for fighting for the freedom of the yorubas. Recall that eminent personalities of yoruba origin like Obasanjo, Wole Soyinka, and others, went to Benin Republic to see Sunday Igboho BUT Tinubu pretended that nothing happened because he wanted power from his slave masters. We shall see how Tinubu will get that power. 3. Tinubu political structure fell the day he lied on the INEC form that he did not attend primary and secondary schools. If court case fails, protest vote will defeat Tinubu. 4. Tinubu structure collapsed on the day of the APC presidential primary election, where he refused to step down for VP Osibanjo. Osibanjo followers will surely cut their pound of flesh during election. Tinubu is very selfish and Greedy. 5. Tinubu political structure collapsed on the day the new Electoral Act 2022 was signed into law. Tinubu thuggry and rigging machinery have collapsed. 6. Tinubu lost his political structure on the day he, like an emperor, denied Ex-Gov Ambode a second term. Ambode and his men are waiting for the election to show Tinubu pepper. 7. Tinubu political structure collapsed on the day he picked a muslim as presidential running mate. By this singular act, Tinubu has lost christian votes in the North and christians in Nigeria as a whole. He insulted christians by saying that, "There is no capable christian in the North".. 8. Tinubu lost his political structure on the day he mobilised 30 fake bishops for the inauguration of his running mate, Shetima Kashim. Tinubu rubbed in the insult by degrading christianity. Christians are very peaceful but christians know what to do. 9. Tinubu lost his political structure on the day the AFENIFERE, the Yoruba socio-cultural group declared support for Peter Obi. Afenifere remembered , "Where are the cows" comment by Tinubu and are ready to pay Tinubu back during the elections.. 10. Tinubu lost political structure because he is old, aged and sick, both mentally and physically . Enough of medical tourism presidents.. 11. Tinubu lost his political structure on the day he said he does not believe in one Nigeria. Tinubu should leave one Nigeria alone. Tinubu cannot deceive the citizens . True citizens are aggrieved and will protest by voting against him. 12. Tinubu lost his political structure on the day he insulted President Buhari in a yoruba gathering, that Buhari cried when he lost election and said, "EMI LOKAN". Buhari noted the insult and will respond appropriately. 13. Tinubu political structure collapsed on the day his political godson was defeated in Osun State governorship election. Note that Osun State is Tinubu's ancestral state. Protest votes started here and will continue. 14. Tinubu tacitly supported killing of armless youths during //ENDSARS protest at Lekki Toll gate. //ENDSARS! Youths are waiting to take revenge with their PVC. I weep for Tinubu and his supporters who have refused to see the handwriting on the wall. Anyway, make una chop Tinubu money jare. Tinubu has dug his own grave through his actions and inactions and indeed lost his structures. Pay back time is 2023 presidential election.. Tinubu's illegal registration of ghost voters structure has been detected and destroyed by INEC. Tinubu's thug dependent and ballot box snatching structure is gone by virtue of Electoral Act. #ChopTheMoneyVoteWisely#

Racoon:He is not telling the truth. How the Americans rained on Buhari's parade. Several pieces of Intelligence has been gathered by the Nigerian DSS as late as July this year, that many IS bomb-makers were quartered in Abuja, in houses of prominent Nigerians of northern extraction. They have been making bombs to cause uproar and make sure that 2023 elections did not hold. Their plan is to use that as an excuse to install a transitional government that will be headed by Dambazzau. Buhari is in on it. The service chiefs are in on it. Even INEC chairman is alleged to be a part of that plot. This intelligence was sent up the chains of command all these while. And their signal to start operations is Buhari travelling out of the country. The Nigerian government knew all these, but since they have been in on it, they ignored it. My guess is that someone in the top echelons of our DSS went with the documents to the Americans. And to forestall that, and let Buhari understand that they know what they are planning, the US got other major countries to issue terror alerts, and force Nigerian authorities to do their job. But that was not enough. They actually tracked the bomb makers and helped Nigerian authorities arrest these guys. There is one Nigerian no one should underrate his influence. That man is Olusegun Obasanjo. I hope you all are aware of what has been happening in Abuja since Monday? The US Embassy and British High Commission issued statements over the previous weekend alerting of imminent indiscriminate and widespread terrorist attacks in Abuja with targets including churches, schools, government buildings, embassies, markets, transport terminals and similar public places. The two embassies warned American and UK citizens to stay indoors forthwith and keep their mobile phones handy in case of emergency. They further shut down their embassies making only skeletal operations available to their citizens alone. On Monday the Information Minister rebutted the security advisory accusing America and Britain of fomenting panic in Abuja. Then from Tuesday events began to unfold. On Tuesday morning *American soldiers and DSS* stormed Phase 3, Trademore Estate, Lugbe, and conducted a sting operation which netted two terrorists from a boys quarter filled with explosives. Residents of Trademore said the terrorists were arming their bombs to attack three nearby churches, a Catholic church, Redeemed and Living Faith. As at last night, Thursday, according to newspapers, 35 terrorists including 5 commanders *have been arrested in different parts of Abuja by US soldiers and DSS.* An initial arrest of one terrorist in front of US Embassy was made by a policeman on Saturday/Sunday. On Wednesday the US announced the evacuation of all its citizens and embassy staff from Abuja. Since Monday, all western embassies in Abuja have been closed. Canada and others are evacuating their citizens from Abuja. All foreign agencies have closed. Jabi Mall is closed. All private schools closed on Monday but are being intimidated by the Fulani regime to reopen. They have ordered public schools to remain open to create an appearance of normalcy and stability, but nobody is deceived. Abuja citizens are largely staying at home and the streets are not busy as usual. Everybody is listening to the foreign embassies for instruction on what to believe or do. This morning the IG of Police issued emergency numbers to citizens to call even though the administration is busy curating lies about the situation. This is to warn all of us to be wary of our movements; ... should keep the children at home until we know what is going on. My reading of the security advisories from western embassies is that they are speaking over the heads of the Nigerian government to Abuja residents, having seen that the Fulani regime is uninterested in saving the lives of its citizens. Buhari slunk off to South Korea before the weekend, probably to be absent while the planned genocide unfolded. The direct involvement of American soldiers in the on-going raids across the city (one is going on in Mararaba right now according to Vanguard and Punch) in my view speaks of their recognition of official involvement in the genocide of the past seven years, and their guilt in imposing Buhari on Nigerians. Otherwise they could have just secured their citizens and left. Notice that each time the regime refutes their statement they make an announcement or take an action reinforcing their position. Please monitor private media and social media to know what is happening. |
