Politics › Re: What Should We Do? by jamace(m): 7:43am On Jan 29, 2009
You should go and do your national service. Many have done it for you and some are still doing it. Or are you suggesting that the cup should passover you? No way! Do you know you are a future leader?  You are not looking at the benefits of undergoing the NYSC scheme but the little incidents that happened. You want to hide in your one corner of Nigeria and be abusing the people that you don't know their way of life and beliefs, and believe that yours is superior or better? Note that travelling is part of education. I f you are scared of happenings in the nation, how do you profer solutions based on experience when you have neither been to that part of the nation or never have a firsthand experience? There is nobody that is born to risk his enjoyment and life for others. Everybody must stake his peace and if need be, life for the sake of the nation. The military and para-military men and women are there, denying themselves of comfort and freedom, and staking their lives for you and me. You should be proud to serve your fatherland. If you think those leading are not leading us well, this is one of the ways you can make a change by showing good examples  wherever you will be posted to. Cheer up, take this as a challenge and be proud to be a partaker in the development of your fatherland. I know that in future you will be glad you did your youth service. I wish you a fruitful service year.

Jokes Etc › Why Should Mummy Eat Junior Instead Of Garri? by jamace(op): 12:51pm On Jan 28, 2009
Heavily pregnant woman discusses with her 3 years old son:

Woman: Son did you enjoy the food?.
Son: Yes mummy, the food was very sweet.
(Woman sits on the floor the way pregnant women use to sit with legs stretched forward and the stomach protruding like baloon. She was so ecstatic about the baby in the womb and told the son this.)
Woman: Do you know that your junior is inside here? (Pointing to her protruding stomach ).
SonsadConfused because he does not know the biological process of child bearing burst into tears and said) Mummy, are you this wicked, why did you decide to eat junior instead of garri? grin grin

In fact, son refused to be consoled because he could not see any reason why junior should be found in mummy's stomach grin grin.

However, I am dumbfounded that the biblical knowledge have not helped to curb corruption in our society? Or is knowing the Bible a mere academic exercise? I just don't understand my Naija people sad.

Family › Re: Is It Possible To Have A Favorite Child? by jamace(m): 6:03am On Jan 28, 2009
Sure. It is a human nature. You can not love 2 or more persons equally. Qualities like Character, attitude, physical appearance, obedience, intelligence, hardworking etc, could make the difference between children. Definately you will have a soft spot for the child that exhibit better qualities. But you should be very tactful on how you show your favouritism else you may ruin the psyche of the other child/children.
Family › Re: I Married My Brother by jamace(m): 5:48am On Jan 28, 2009
This story is not true. If it is true, then you are paying for accepting an illegal marriage. By illegal marriage , i mean that you neither did your traditional marriage nor church wedding. Your relationship to your brother will have been detected and the marriage would have been annulled. My General advise to young boys and girls is that you should not assume that you in a free world and can do whatever you like when it comes to serious matters like marriage. If your parents don't bless your marriage, you will definately be in trouble. Those that are not yet married and on this NL take note.
Family › Re: Please Tell Me How To Make My Marriage A Happy One by jamace(m): 5:31am On Jan 28, 2009
believe you need a counsellor. if possible ask your pastor for guidance.
many things could have been responsible for your husband's changed nature. one includes the post marital stress spill over which are overwhelming him; maybe you need to make more happier by making the house a home for him; ensure your home is clean, give him his meals when it is time to eat; try not to over sleep; please do not nag, though he is pushing to do so and never deny him sex when he asks for it - though you are worn out. be romantic (whatever it means to you).
pray always. let it be the first thing, the second thing, and everything to you. prayer can turn things around for you.
you may post your prayer requests in the religion thread.

it is well
The new reality is probably overwhelming him. I agree with the last speaker quoted here. Take note of the highlighted portions. Marriage teething problem is all I will call it. I am happy you want the marriage to work and it shall work in Jesus name. Amen!
