As the exchange rate keep increasing rapidly without no reduction and the F. G do nothing about it.

This calls for Increase in Exportation Business and Intra Importation Business I.e importing from our home country and reselling to retailers.

With this ongoing increase, it will tend to bring in Foreign Investors inasmuch the value of their money will be high in other to get enough money to invest when reaching Nigeria.

If Inter Importation Business (between Nigeria and other countries) is difficult and inconvenience, then other means of earning should be sought for, be it;

Exportation Business, Website Design, Fiverr, Network Marketing, etc

It's left for individuals to look for a lucrative biz he/she can do.

If you are to import this time, then you have to sought for inexpensive products that will sell with a big price.
Example: Buying a product of #500-#800 and sells for #3,000-#5,000 then you can make a better profit this time.

Aside those tips, importation business won't work appropriately to earn good profit.

INSPIRING!!!

Inspiration depends on where you look. Stare out a window on an overcast day and you might feel gloomy, but watch a sunrise and you might get a burst of new ideas.
These famous entrepreneurs did the hard work of building a lasting company, persevered through failures and adversity, and created something brilliant. They can provide that small burst of inspiration to help you stay with an idea and find success.

1. "I want to work for a company that contributes to and is part of the community. I want something not just to invest in. I want something to believe in." Anita Roddick, The Body Shop

2. "Failure is an option here. If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough." Elon Musk

3. "If we were motivated by money, we would have sold the company a long time ago and ended up on a beach."
Larry Page

4. "It's fine to celebrate success, but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure." Bill Gates

5. "I enjoy the competition and the process of learning as we compete. The whole thing is just fascinating. I don't know what I'll do when I retire. When I go sailing, I look around ... anyone want to race? I just love competing as opposed to just going out and watching the sunset." Larry Ellison

6. "Everyone has ideas. They may be too busy or lack the confidence or technical ability to carry them out. But I want to carry them out. It is a matter of getting up and doing it." James Dyson

7. "Every time you state what you want or believe, you're the first to hear it. It's a message to both you and others about what you think is possible. Don't put a ceiling on yourself." Oprah Winfrey

8. "If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes--then learn how to do it later!" Richard Branson

9. "An entrepreneur is someone who jumps off a cliff and builds a plane on the way down." Reid Hoffman

10. "The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that's changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks."
Mark Zuckerberg

11. "Fearlessness is not the absence of fear. It's the mastery of fear. It's about getting up one more time than we fall down." Arianna Huffington

12. "Don't let what you don't know scare you, because it can become your greatest asset. And if you do things without knowing how they have always been done, you're guaranteed to do them differently." Sara Blakely, Spanx

13. "Never give up, because you never know if the next try is going to be the one that works." Mary Kay Ash

14. "The job of a manager is to support his or her staff, not vice versa, and that begins by being among them." Bill Hewlett

15. "Avoid openly trying to reform people. Every man knows he is imperfect, but he doesn't want someone else trying to correct his faults. If you want to improve a person, help him embrace a higher working goal--a standard, an ideal--and he will do his own 'making over' far more effectively than you can do it for him."
Dave Packard

16. "If you've got an idea, start today. There's no better time than now to get going. That doesn't mean quit your job and jump into your idea 100 percent from day one, but there's always small progress that can be made to start the movement." Kevin Systrom, Instagram

17. "If you're not making mistakes, then you're not making decisions."
Catherine Cook, MyYearbook

18. "I think not focusing on money makes you sane, because in the long run it can probably drive you crazy."
Kevin Systrom

19. "We led with our conviction rather than rational, because rational said it was impossible." Daniel Ek, Spotify

20. "You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you."
Walt Disney

21. "Micromanage the process, not the people." Joe Apfelbaum, Ajax Union

22. "If you don't define yourself and proactively maintain your identity, someone else will do it for you. The idea that you can be invisible is a myth." Patrick Ambron, BrandYourself.com

-BUSINESS IDEA[Staff relocation advice platform]

Many expats are pouring into Africa to get their slice of an economy with incredible growth potential. Also we have local companies who relocate their staff from one location to the other.

The problem these people face (and the companies that send them) is the obvious one of relocating their staff or themselves. Things like visas, permits, housing, schooling, and so
on, are always problematic.
It’s not a logistical problem, but an informational one. Who to contact, where to start, where to go?
Yes, there are big companies that have been working in Africa for decades that have staff relocating systems and support structures in place. But, most companies or individuals need to start from scratch and have to piece the relocation information together from various experts.
So, become a one stop shop for staff relocation advice. Imagine a website you can log on to that tracks every step of the process.

To bring down the start-up costs, you can do this in two stages:

1. Start with digital guides (PDF files, designed nicely, and packed with quality up-to-date information)

2. Once up and running, expand your site to a web platform where clients can track every step, review quotes for various services and tap into immediate online expert support

For inspiration look at Move Guides - https://www.moveguides.com/solutions-by-function-employees. Take this model and apply it to Africa and you will have companies and individuals queuing up.
The business model: Start selling the guides as digital guides, then flip the model to a monthly subscription once you have the web platform going.

BUSINESS IDEAS TO HELP ENRICH OUR ENTREPRENEURIAL DRIVE!!!
AdvertsRe: *** by jamarionj(op): 12:41am On Feb 18, 2016
Debossed Wristbands
Debossed wristbands are the most common . Debossed refers
to the fact that the design is actually recessed
down into the wristband itself. To accomplish
this, a custom bracelet mold is manufactured
that incorporates whatever customized design
that is desired. Because they require a mold to
be manufactured, custom debossed bracelets
are more expensive and take longer to produce
than printed bracelets or laser-engraved
bracelets.

Embossed Wristbands
Embossed wristbands are not nearly as
common, yet they are an excellent choice if you
are looking for a custom silicone bracelet that is
more stylish and unique. An embossed bracelet
also incorporates any custom design and
requires a mold to be manufactured. However,
with embossed bracelets, the fully customized
design is raised up off the wristband as opposed
to recessed down into the wristband. Pricing and
turnaround times for embossed bracelets are
very similar to that of debossed bracelets.

Printed Wristbands
Printed wristbands are by far the most
economical choice. Printed bracelets start with a
blank wristband and are then silk-screen
printed. The "technology" for screen-printing
wristbands has come a long way. The dyes used
today actually penetrate the silicone rubber of
the wristband. Many people are under the
impression that the print which is used on
printed bracelets is cheaply painted on and will
crack or flake off. With a reputable custom
silicone bracelet manufacturer, this simply is not
the case. You can expect the printing to last the
lifetime of the silicone wristband itself. Printed
bracelets do not require a mold to be
manufactured. Instead, a template is produced
that is used to apply the custom design onto the
bracelets. Because a template is used rather
than a mold, printed wristbands are less
expensive with quicker turnaround times than
debossed and embossed wristbands.
debossed is the best.

To help you figure out what works best for you, here are some questions I invite you to answer:

1. What does your dream TASK (or set of tasks) look like?
2. What environment best lends itself to that task – working on your own, or working in a team/company?
3. If you’re looking for freedom and independence but need financial security – how can you create more space for entrepreneurship (or intrapreneurship) & creativity in or outside your job?
4. If you’re looking for financial security & contact with colleagues but not a job – in what ways can you create more regular contact with peers and monthly ‘ set’ streams of income as an entrepreneur?

-IDEAS RELATING TO QUESTION!!!-
1. My dream task (or set of tasks) is me working one-on-one, or with groups of women to facilitate them as they work on creating a more fulfilling work/life.

2. I’ve done this both as an employee and as an entrepreneur.

3. In the past – by working in a company that prided itself asking its staff to be entrepreneurial and innovative. And by flexing my entrepreneurship muscles as a Board Member to a professional women’s association or as a freelance graphic designer on the side.

4. Now – by creating more Ecourses (and maybe offering them at set time tables after all) and by having set timeframes during which I’ll work with one group of clients. Also, by connecting with other coaches and working together on something with a peer.

There's a very BIG difference between an Entrepreneur and an Employee. In life we make our choices to decide where we want our current actions to lead us to in future.

Below are the Major differences they won't teach you in school.

* Having control over your work schedule means that you can choose when to take time off and work the schedule that suits you best.

* Entrepreneurs are able to make all
of the decisions relating to their company themselves; they have complete control. This allows for a huge degree of independence and
a chance to shape one’s own career.

* Entrepreneurship can offer levels of fulfilment and achievement that are hard matched by any other type of employment. A great idea teamed with passion and commitment will certainly help a new entrepreneur overcome many
of the challenges posed by starting their own business.

Moyarh:
This is great, you made salient points Op.
But like they say, talk is cheap.
In my opinion, most people pickup "entrepreneurship" just for the convenience of having quick returns, and this is very unstable. I have seen people who dont even know the difference between the profit they made from certain ventures, and the money they were supposed to re invest. Most people take it all as profit and just enjoy the fact tht it sometimes comes in lump sums.
Id say, people need to learn the difference between Entrepreneurship, and engaging in Temporary profitable ventures. The former requires proper systems and processes. Also, a trustworthy team with a shared vision is needed cos no 1 can handle all the responsibilities alone. It takes time, it takes patience and alota zeal, but if done properly, it works. Truth is, there is no comfort in Entrepreneurship, it actually requires more efforts. Only good things are flexibility, watching your creation come to life and answering to yourself...
