For your info, I currently have tens of CVs of people that have been disturbing me that they want to work with the NNPC. I am sure same applies to that your family friend.

If NNPC is recruiting it is usually advertised in public dailies so wait till then.And did u say you made a 2:2? I am sorry my dear, that's not up to the NNPC minimum requirement.

For those that just attended the last interviews be rest assured that there'll be fair play in the whole exercise.

I have been looking for an opportunity to get this information first hand.
I am stil in 300l biochemistry though i follow alot of job thread in online forums particular Oil companies i have not for once seen any of them call for biochemist. Does this means biochemist are not needed in oil companies? I know oil companies have Research & Developement dept, and quality control biochemist sure can work in those dept but they(biochemist) are not listed among courses for grad trainee programs. Does it mean those dept have different route to entrance or can one speculatively apply to those dept for employment consideration. Peace out.

You dont have to be rude while asking for help coz anyone who want to answer is only helping and have nothing to lose if he/she doesn't reply you. To your question you dont need to be discouraged. If you have someone filling for you, you probably have a chance. I am a biochemistry undergrad i dont think biochemists are really needed in Oil company. I might be wrong though. just my 2 cent.

Thanks all for your comments thus far. The GMAT am using has so many sections which include quantitative reasoning test, data sufficiency, number series, verbal reasoning, logical reasoning, diagramatic reasoning. The things are so much that am so confused right now please help me oh

I was invited for an aptitude test by a company for my IT placement. I bought GMAT Master job aptitude coz i learnt it is used for aptitude tests. when i contacted the company i was told is maths/english and current affairs. now am torn btw studying the GMAT or geting maths and english textbook. On the current affair i am also confused wether to buy and read these N100 Current affair books or just read newspapers coz i dont know if they will include general knowledge such as the first president of nigeria etc. Pls i need your candid advice on coz i dont want to fail this test.

The format is not always the issue but the content and presentation. The general format is your 1 Bios-name,address,phone,dob,email 2 profile/objective pls it should be detailed and at the same time succint coz this your first selling point. 3 Education/Qualification also bring out your selling point for science note to include some relevant course and grade, and your project summary. 4 Skill/Work experience note here that some skill and experience are transferable. 5 Hobbies/Interests. pls use it only to your advantage coz instead of writing rubbish omiting it serves you better. 6 Reference.
