I studied Mass communication, we weren't even taught on the prominence of creative writing, proofreading, copy editing, reporting. We were just given definition and explanations, what about the practical aspects? They just gave us stupid textbooks teaching us dumb histories, that won't help me in real life.

Just imagine if my university taught me how to become a perfect editor, with intensive practicals, I can proudly call myself an editor? Self development made me intellectual not the university.
