i was charged N225 to the euro, i wouldnt know the exact bank charges right now as it was my dad's account not mine that was debited. Will find out and edit my post later on. When sending the DB confirmation, did you just reply the email that was from the embassy or composed a new email? Thanks

Hello e-fam, so i have gotten a credit confirmation from DB. All my transaction happened under 72hours, I used the UBA head office in marina. Faster than i expected really as i only just submitted my form A on wednesday around 12noon.

My question is as regards to the earlier email from the embassy that indicated that i ''Please state reference in reply''. What does this mean, i am just about to send the copy of the confirmation to them. Is there a special thing that i should make reference to? i'm just being careful here.

Its only reasonable that Saraki declares his assets as the No.1 & 2 citizens in the country have done.

The Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders says since President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo have declared their assets publicly, it is the turn of the number three citizen in the country, Senate President Bukola Saraki, to follow suit.

The Chairman of CACOL, Mr. Debo Adeniran, said this was the only way transparency and true change could be achieved.

Adeniran said this during an interview with our correspondent on Sunday.

The Saraki-led Senate is currently probing the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, while Saraki’s wife is being investigated by the EFCC for alleged financial impropriety.

However, Adeniran said the current anti-corruption drive of the All Progressives Congress-led government would not be complete unless those occupying public offices can prove that they have not illegally enriched themselves.

He said once Saraki declares his assets, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Yakubu Dogara, as well as all principal officers of the National Assembly would also be motivated to do the same.

He said, “Specifically, the principal officers of the National Assembly must declare their assets starting from the Senate President. All ministers and those who will work directly with the President such as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the President’s Chief of Staff must also declare their assets publicly.

“That is how we will know that they have clean hands. Otherwise, they will become conduit pipes through which money will be siphoned from the public purse. Without such declaration, nobody knows how much they might have made after leaving office.”

Adeniran said the wives and children of public office holders must also be subjected to similar scrutiny because they are usually the beneficiaries of ill-gotten wealth.

He added, “It is now the norm that anyone that wants to serve in any position of leadership of the present administration to publicly declare his or her assets because already, we have doubts about how much these individuals have made over the years.

“We want to know how much they are worth and have a benchmark with which we would measure what they would declare at the end of their tenure. Their spouses, children and siblings should also declare their assets since they enjoy whatever must have been received by the public officials.”

Has anyone used UBA for the blocked account payment? was in their HQ yesterday in marina and was told to come make the transfer. How fast has UBA transfer been, for those that have used it. please

Zenith bank does not require any breakdown of expenses from school. The documents from the embassy and Deutschbank will suffice

what document from the embassy? the email to pay blocked account money that was recieved after the interview?? This blocked account thing is giving some much headache. Looks like i will transfer the cash from skye to union bank. i'm tired of all this 'present an invoice from school story'. School is not even replying with any information or help regarding that.

Guys, i need help to make blocked account payment. i don't have any form of invoice from my school as requested by the 2 banks i went to. All i have here is the db account opening letter. who here has done this payment successfully in lagos? what bank did you use? did you have to provide a school invoice as well? please i need someone to talk to here (a phone number or email will be great) i need to make this payment today,. the embassy already sent an email stating that my db account funding confirmation is awaited.

Sambo used religious sentiments in his attempt to divide the country and incite Muslims against Christians. Sambo also said at the rally that the PDP is the most Islamic Party in Nigeria because nobody can be more Muslim than him. He said that his name is Namadi which is a derivative of Namadina, meaning someone from the Medina in Saudi Arabia. At the Rally in Jigawa State Sambo also stated that he goes for the Hajj every year.


In his determination to whip up religious sentiments and divisions, the vp stated at the Jigawa state rally that all the security chiefs in the Jonathan administration are Muslims and based on that, those alleging that Jonathan is supportive of Boko Haram are not being fair. He mentioned the names of some key ministers in the Jonathan administration including Defence Minister, Aliyu Gusau, NSA, Sambo Dasuki, Inspector General of Police, Abba whom he emphasized are all Muslims. He also mentioned all the Muslim ministers from Kano, including Aminu Wali, Foreign Affairs Minister and Shekarau, Minister of Education.


Sambo then asked if anyone could claim to be more Muslim than him Namadi Sambo. Then he shouted Allahu Akbar (Allah is great several times). To close his speech he recited the AlFatiha, (The Opening, the first seven verses of the Holy Quran, which for Muslims is the Mother of the Book, highly revered by all).

Sambo's outburst against Christians and Pastor Osinbajo would not surprise close watchers of political events in Nigeria but it does reconfirm the outcome of late General Azazi thorough and extensive investigation of Boko Haram and in which he concluded that the PDP founded Boko Haram and finances its terrorist activities.
