if you have time you may visit long lake, Lugano Switzerland, is just 1 hour from the Milan Central Station by train, it cost 14 Euro for one way trip, I just came back from there yesterday, is a very nice place to visit.

Anyways, the suffer in Rome is too much. There's too much to see and do within the short time frame. I'm back in Milan. My MIL says I have lost weight from these few days of trekking. Maybe I should trek more often. I'm taking today off to rest. I hope to visit Venice tomorrow, hopefully MIL will take care of the baby while I dash out for a day.

please i want to know the right visa category to choose, am going for a conference that will last for 5 days and i wish to stay more 5 days after the conference for leisure, what type of visa is right for me is it B1/B2 or B1?

i got an invitation for Engineering conference in the USA for 4 days but am yet to pay for the registration fee (900 USD) because i want to confirm my visa before i make payment, do to the refund policy is not favourable to me incase i didn't get the visa and also i would like to spend more 5 days after the conference to visit some interesting places to extend my idea in having international travel experience (total of 9 days stay).

secondly i had some refusal stamp in my passport from previous visa application in other embassies 2 years ago, although i have travelled to 3 different countries, and i will be applying from my country of residence in GCC.

please what do you advice in my case? shall i state that am going only for the conference? shall i pay for the conference fee before my interview?

Dear Visa Officer, thanks for your time in responding to our questions, Please i have a conference to attend by November this year in USA, i have an account in my country of residence, but i don't keep my money more than 3 days in my account here before sending it to my account in Nigeria, right now i want to apply for visa, which of the account will be well considered, shall i use my account in Nigeria alone for my application or use both account , i have enough money in my Nigerian account, why my account here does not have good closing balance about 4K USD, please kindly advise.

Whoever adviced you to pay money and get your passport stamped (in & out) is a Monster, and such silly person must be avoided. And to add to what Justwise had warned you of; if you allow someone to temper or ulter your passport to support your application, you will not succeed in getting the visa, you will only succeed in getting yourself a 10 years or a Life ban.
  Sure, i have done that in a couple of ocassions, i am not lying to you.

Whoever told you that is totally wrong; you can apply for a visa for any country with a passport that already has a visa for another country, and to be sincere, having an unused visa in your passport is an overwhelming advantage

Please good people of nairaland i need assistance, i want to apply for shengen visa at belgium embassy/france (tourist), i have some of the requirements but the challenge am having now are these

1 "hotel booking (internet and e-mail booking may not be accepted}"
2 "confirmed flight booking"
3 "travel insurrance covering all shengen countries for amount of at least 30,000 euros,"

please i need help seriously cos i dont know how to handle these ones all other documents are in place, any body who has applied to belgium or france should assist me cos i will like to submit by next week
