Foreign Affairs › Re: Akufo-Addo Wins Ghana Presidential Election by jammyunn(m): 11:27pm On Dec 09, 2016 |
Nairadays: Good.
Too much similarity with Nigeria.
Opposition leader Akufo-Addo of NPP is 72 years old, Buhari was 72 when he got elected.
Akufo-Addo is trying for the fourth time, Buhari tried till the fourth time also.
Mahama took over after his Boss John Atta Mills Died. (RIP Sir) , GEJ too took over after Yar'Adua's Demise. (RIP Sir) you're 90% correct. This is actually Mr Nana's third time of trying. |
Romance › Re: This Has Been Proven As The Best Way To Know If Your Girl Is A Virgin.. by jammyunn(m): 11:54pm On Dec 06, 2016 |
Not all ladies though. The beautiful woman I'm dating now isn't a Virgin. I knew her as a Virgin, I approached her and she turned me down(I could understand her cos I had recently broken e up with her friend based on religious differences). After about 2years I approached her again and she still refused but in the process told me point blank she wasn't a Virgin anyone. I was expecting her to lie after all I was still wooing her. She regretted it but I noticed it didn't make her feel inferior. I'm glad anyways that we are together now, this is our 8th month and honestly she is a very good woman. |

Celebrities › Re: Obiagu Boys Gatecrashed Phynofest In Enugu (photos) by jammyunn(m): 8:24am On Nov 21, 2016 |
coptic: Lol. Do you know why he is a musician today? Because he grew up in an environment that influenced him to become that. In his mind, he's more Enugu- than he is Anambra's. Same applies to Flavor.
He isn't a successful musician today because he is from Anambra. He went to Lagos just so he could blow. The ability was already innate.
That's why in places like America, you belong as an indigene wherever your are born or have lived for so long. Because, that's where your inspiration comes from.
Take for instance, there are lots of Igbos born and bred in Lagos who only visit Igbo land for not more than 10 days in a year. While serving in Anambra, I met some for whom it was the first time ever visiting Igbo land in their entire lives.
So, where do you think their influences and strengths come from? Of course, such people are more Lagosians than anything else.
So, growing up anywhere is more than "just". It is everything for anyone. whether they agree with you or not, what you said is the plain truth. if he were a thief, not sure they'll claim him. by musical origin, phyno and flavour are from enugu. 95% of musicians of igbo origin developed themselves in enugu or lagos. |
Music/Radio › Re: What The Next Rated Category Award Really Means - HIPTV by jammyunn(m): 12:01pm On Nov 12, 2016 |
no matter how "headies" want to justify this, "next rated" in simple English means an "unknown" entity has done well to be recognized. whether or not he/she has an album doesn't matter. all they need do is change the name of the category award to suit their idea of it. |

Noobshow: But, you know if possible from Qatar?
Maybe u can just cross to Qatar and have the visa done there, I don't have Qatar's residency, will be using only tourist visa which I will get from Dubai.
Thanks, Noobshow. the general rule is that you get your visa where you are resident except of course the country doesn't have an embassy in the country where you live. how can they easily verify the documents you'd submit? it raises red flags as to why you would leave the embassy in your country to apply in another country. |

Noobshow: Hi Nlanders, I will be going on a trip to Dubai in 2 weeks from now and just today I find out that I will be needing a trip to Texas, I don't want a waste of fund returning to Nigeria and the new embassy appointment stress thing.
Please, anybody have an idea how I can get the visa from Dubai, US embassy there can help with that?
I have my Dubai itinerary all ready. No much time applying for the US trip from here, please help with details here...
Thanks, Noobshow. you can never get a US visa in Dubai unless of course you have a long term residence permit (work or spouse visa) there. if you enquire, they'll tell you to apply in Nigeria. my friend with a Norwegian student visa was told by the US consulate to go back to Nigeria and apply for US visa because his Norwegian permit was for a year. |
