Dogs are not just pets but man's best friend, they could even become your guardian angel...Yeah, my two Alsatian dogs "Brown and Ella" saved my 2 year old nephew from being bitten by a snake. It all started on a bright new day with the sun scorching as if "dem give am order to shine today and shine no more", I came downstairs to clean their cage and my nephew was with me too. So I brought out Ella and brown first and left escort cos she is more like the gentle and sensible one among the three. With my water and detergent, I was washing up brown's cage when I heard both dogs barking ferociously, making some scuffling sounds and my nephew was also crying. I decided to go and check them, maybe they have killed a lizard and they are both fighting for who is gonna play it... Lo and behold, close to my nephew was brown with his feet securely holding the head of a black snake while Ella was holding the tail with her feets too, while the snake was trying to break free from their grip. Dunno ow dey did it, but the snake was dead within minutes...wish I was with my phone to record it live...at least Natgeo wild for wire me small money for d live documentary shoots. Anyway I had to chase them away before I could finally throw away the snake. In my mind, I was thinking, what if these dogs were not there with my nephew...wot would have happened?. In all, special thanks to God almighty for u know na and secondly to my Ella and Brown...more chicken and cow bones to your food dis week. Dogs are great anytime any day, so if u never get one for house...I no know wetin u dey wait for o!

Congrats op...my sister graduated with a first class (statistics department 2016 set) from Anambra state university and she is yet to receive a spoon from them...its not encouraging at all. Feats like this should be rewarded, this will make people strive to be the best they can ever be.

The PG programme in that school is worse than terrible; I regret enrolling for a programme there. The PG school lacks coordination, the various departments, the lecturers, the staffs all feeling as if they are rendering a favour to students. The school no work I swear...I had to drop, can't continue wasting my time.

Finally, our background does not hinder our future with God...

Hello...please am writing a research project for a friend in the field of accounting but am having issues as per the variables I can use to measure financial reporting. Her topic is " the effects of different depreciation methods on financial reporting. Am using straight line method, sum of years digit method and reducing balance method to capture d methods of depreciation...but d financial reporting part is confusing...d supervisor told her to use one variable to measure financial reporting...but d confusing part is should I choose one type of financial statement such as balance sheet and capture d effects of the different methods of depreciation since financial reporting has to do wit producing reports and statements that discloses an organisation's financial status to stakeholders? or is d supervisor looking towards financial reporting quality ie how does the different methods affect d financial reporting quality of an organisation?...please researchers in the field of accounting and finance, help me out...your contributions are highly needed and appreciated

I was born and I grew up in the north. People generally feel igbos have criminal tendencies hence people are very cautious when relating with them. This has to an extent made people to avoid them. You only relate with an Igbo person when it is absolutely necessary.

The kind of stories you hear coming from the eastern parts makes you avoid Igbos. Take for instance. Baby factory, Rape, Money ritual, Cannibalism, Drug and cocain pusher, Not paying house rent, Armed robbery, etc are all known bad things that igbos are known for. All these have made Yorubas, Hausas and other tribes to avoid marrying their girls like a plague.

It is not so uncommon to see Hausas and Yorubas and other tribes getting married, but not igbos .
