I will not spare the rod with my child, understand me. I don't want anyother person physically assulting my child. If he does something wrong, let the teacher talk to me and i will punish my child MYSELF. either with cane, belt or whatever. Some teachers dont know a childs medical history, some might be epileptic, some have sickle cell and so on. Parents should be the ones to flog their children, the teachers job is to report to the parents. If the childs behaviour doesnt change in schoo, then the school has the right to expel the child. I repeat, CORPORATE PUNISHMENT IN SCHOOLS HAS LED TO ACTUAL STUDENT DEATHS, NIGERIAN SCHOOLS SHOULD STOP IT!!!!!!!

I don't know but you need to understand how life works here, sometimes parents cannot reprimand a child adequately and they end up bringing disgrace to the home and society at large.

I watched an episode of "desperate housewife" on ELTV and one of the wives says no one should spank the children and the children were making jest of the woman because she never spanks the kids and barred anyone fr doing that.

So I wish you the best in your ideologies but I have a child, anyday he starts school and misbehaves, the teacher should discipline appropriately.

If my child does something bad, let the teacher tell me; the parent, and i will deal with him/her myself. Do you know how many children have died in the hands of teachers in Nigeria? Corporate punishment needs to end, many lives have been lost because of that

I was in the sitting room with my best friend when she decided to change the channel to EL TV. The first thing that popped on my huge flat screen TV was Uti!!!

I was shocked and partly surprised to see Uti dressed like that. I mean, I have watched him on "Jara" or whatever it is they call the show, and he always has a good sense of style. So what the crap happened today

Apparently he was hosting the Tecno Own the Stage show that is being hosted by Tecno (duh!). Basically, it is a singing competition just like American Idol or X Factor, the winner gets a record deal and a brand new Tecno Phantom 5 (a very dope phone by the way, y'all should check it out).

I don't know who styled Uti for this show but that person must be FIRED. Damn!!

So I was lucky to get my hands on the new phantom and I must say it was quite an experience. The 5.5” FULL HIGH DEFINITION touch screen is just out of this world. You will see colors you have never seen before (FYI this is not an exaggeration).

I played “KISSING” by Yemi Alade (I’m so obsessed with her) on the Phantom and OMG, what I heard was the true sound of music. I did experience the Boom J7 and I was amazed but this Phantom takes the cake. This is not something that can be explained with words, it is something that needs to be heard.

I mean, forget Kim Kardashian, I am the real selfie queen. When I noticed it had an 8MP front camera with flash, (OMG! WITH FLASH!!!) and a 13MP back camera, I decided to take a selfie, ok maybe 50 selfies.

The icing on the cake for me was the finger print identity sensor at the back of the phone. That is some high level security stuff. I know a lot of guys would be happy about this because there’s no way your girlfriend will look through your phone without chopping off your finger to unlock it. We pray it doesn’t get to that.

This phone is definitely something you would want to spend money on.
