While many Transgenders at firsf identify as being gay, they are just not comfortable in the gender they were born with, no matter how much they try..and it doesn't help matter that society already dictates how a boy or girl should act. Hence they go forth and decide to as well be what they are comfortable with.

Bisi Alimi
Bisi Alimi is a Nigerian gay rights activist, public speaker, blog writer and HIV/LGBT advocate who gained international attention when he became the first Nigerian to come out of the closet on television. Alimi gained notoriety in 2004 when he became the first Nigerian gay man to appear on Nigerian national television as a guest on Funmi Iyanda's show New Dawn with Funmi, a talk show on the NTA. That same year, Bisi had been diagnosed with HIV, and on the show Alimi confirmed his sexuality as a homosexual and asked for social acceptance from the public. Rowland Jide Macaulay is the Director of RJMM.CO.UK, also the founding Pastor of House of Rainbow Lagos Nigeria and London United Kingdom. According to himself, he came out as gay after troubled heterosexual life. He got married in 1991 thinking his gayness would be cured. He divorced three years later when he realized his feelings for men could not be dissipated. He ran away to the UK after the persecution became unbearable for him. Jide went on to open the House of Rainbow Fellowship where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual and inter-sex people are welcomed. He currently resides in the United Kingdom and recently celebrated his birthday.

The first Nigeria transgender man, Oche Clifford who is now Ms. Sahara, who was born a male before becoming a model and singer. She spoke of how happier she is that her dream of becoming a woman was achieved, crying tears of Joy when she saw her transformation. She has been known to stir the hornet with offensive speeches about how she supposedly hates God who created her. The 28 year old Miss Sahara contestant was born a man, living in Abuja for several years before moving to the UK about 7 years ago where she’s now living as a woman. She’s now a beauty queen, having participated in a few pageants. She (He) was 1st runner up at the 2011 Miss International Queen pageant.
Dapo Adaralegbe now Stephanie Rose
Dapo Adaralegbe now known as Stephanie Rose after her transformation was also a man.
After his surgery that transformed him to the female sex, he moved to Spain because of fear of rejection. Back when he was in school, he started using make-up and dressing like a girl, which his fellow classmates found absurd. Dapo, as he was called back then, dropped out from the Obafemi Awolowo University over mounting pressures from the school on his gender identity and reportedly now resides in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Not only is he a transgender woman now, the former law student of O.A.U. has written a book titled ‘Nobody Goes to Heaven Because Nobody Goes to Hell Fire’, where ‘she’ was showing ‘her’ anger towards God and the disappointments she’s had in life. Some of the excerpts from the book were posted on her Facebook page which caused a lot of social media stir.

Bro chill. There's something you dont get. Gionee m3 carries a huge battery of 4000mah on a 4.5 inch screen, Tecno l5 will carry a 5000mah battery with the same screen size. Tell me, unless there's a flaw in the quality, which do you think will last longer?

The gionee m5 carries a 6000mah battery which is certainly massive, but remember that it comes with a 5.5 inch screen and is not so pocket friendly whereas the l5 is expected to be around 12-14k.

TECNO has gone back to the drawing board to correct the mistakes they made in Phantom 5 which breaks record as the lowest selling phone at konga. At 70k, Phantom 5 can't sell in Africa because our problem is not a fingerprint scanner which makes the phone expensive. Here in Nigeria, our problem is NEPA and fuel. Now, If the specs of this L5 here is really true, the phone will break record as the highest selling smartphone in Nigeria and Africa.... UP TECNO!

I have no problem with the brand, or anyones right to choose what they want to buy, its the misinformation about the products that I dont like, the other day a member of this forum posted an article about how some online shops in naija were defrauding buyers into paying higher prices for these phones just because of the hype about their superiority over other established brands.

I recently completed a course online on www.online.bau.edu.ng I must say it helped me boost my CV greatly. I never imagined I could gain anything from online courses but to my surprise, I learnt so much more than my university thought me. I only spent N10,000. It's quite affordable and very flexible. You can actually use your smart phone to take your lessons on the course. I think you guys should try it.

The thing is that this Phantom 5 phone is not mine, a friend of mine I bumped into in shop rite had the phone, I took the pictures with his Phantom and because he was in a hurry, I couldn't transfer them to my own phone. Once I hot home, I sent him a message on Whatsapp saying that he should send them to me. He then told me sorry that he had to delete my pics because his gf always goes through his phone and she gets very jealous and starts trouble if she sees another females pic on his phone.
