People now go to church for selfies and videos to post on social media.

Pastors now have make-up artists more like it’s a show.

For the past 4 years I don’t think I’ve gone to church. Not like I’ve lost my religion cos I still totally believe and trust in God. But I’m still asking, am I committing sin?

The church is meant to help your spiritual growth. If you haven't been attending services, there are high probabilities that you would go back to the things of the world. Of course, that's if you had surrendered your life to Christ in the first place

Reno Omokri has denied the claim of Deborah Okezie that he threatened her over her case with Deeper life high school.


In a recent video, Deborah Okezie alleged that Reno Omokri sent her a message, threatening her to apologise on National newspaper or face the consequences if she fails to do so.

She also claimed that members of Deeper life Bible Church sent her threat messages, asking her to prepare for the burial of her son for fighting against the church.

Reno Omokri however, in his response, debunked her claims, and placed N100million if she brings evidence that he ever threatened her.

He noted that he only cautioned those who talked against Pastor Kumuyi, because growing up, Pastor Kumuyi has always been someone he looks up to, and he couldn’t watch people tarnish his image.

A selfless lover would notice a potential in her and desire to develop such talent via educating her.

The moment he begins to guilt-trip her into marriage, he becomes a selfish lover. His generosity no longer counts as an act of kindness. He is only using her to satisfy his desire to own (marry) an educated person. He desires to improve his perceived status among his uneducated peers for marrying one of a higher status. He is no different from the rich man who gives while making a public show of it.

The lady on the other hand desires a man to help her achieve her goal to be educated. She had to pretend to be in love with him to achieve her goal. There was no love. Each person only desired to use the other. The lady only outsmarted him in the selfish web.

Some readers said he would have married her first before spending a dime on her. It changes nothing. It does not guarantee a happy union. Who says she will not catch feelings for another person? Who says she will not seek divorce later? It only transforms the problem.
