ahsekeena:you dont understand, do you? He was still legally married to other women before her. Are u a woman at all or the "F" on ur status is a gimmick? Thr bottomline is the bride has just been included in the list of women who will storm the next ceremony in 2017. Is bigamy I guess, or else their law is same-sex revised. |
What a shame. The bride has the most idiotik persona to ever live. What a waste in a marriage |
manie:all u typed or copied from Google are just a waste. U failed to understand that simple English word, WEALTH. Upper middle-class and wealth. Analyse! ![]() |
manie:in total support I corroborate your quote. But a slight thing u failed to notice is the difference between wealth and inheritance. I totally agree on leaving behind inheritance for kids, but let's no die to make it all. Life is no competition. Make what u can and enjoy life. I would want someone to define statistically how much a man must make in naira before he can marry. Bro, some ppl get married to become rich while some get even poorer after marriage. Life is a trance. Nothing is ever sure, not even wealth. If money doesn't come to u, then marriage is never made for the rich or old alone. The law states 18 or 21 am not too sure about Nigeria's constitution |
manie:bro, if u ask me il say ur comment is lovely, but u missed the right person to quote. Your quote is way away from mine and I encourage your courage in all |
adconline:hello Mr. Educator! Google never offers anyone a certificate of education. Brings us back again to another debatable topic, are the upper middle-class ppl really described as wealthy? Don't think u r too educated Mr. Educator. Your brain is full of Google and not substantial knowledge of profound fact. I said and will say it again, Mr Williams Gates sr. never left WEALTH for Bill Gates, but he (Bill) made wealth. Go back to google and do your research and date it back to Bill's history. Having a degree doesn't make u a champ, defending it does. |
What ?? All these gimmicks have to stop. We need no celebrity stunt now. Zarha, pls let Nigerian concentrate on her problems. You said you are jobless?? Your mama no get salon? All the one Ur papa talk say Na only 150 narma e get. E declare asset with mouth before election and after election we no c am for paper. U don start to declare hacking now. When Nigerians will want prove of this, pls be ready |
adconline:we have seen that you have made it, but pls don't judge anyone for his choice to be married. Rich or poor, God watches us all. The main thing is to serve God n not to amass material wealth for yourself. The Bible said, "marry n multiply", and there's no where in the Bible where it says " amass wealth ". We all come empty to go empty. Bill Gates father never had wealth, but his son made it. Gathering wealth for ur kids does not ensure their lives. All is vanity. Marriage never impedes education nor does it stop u from achieving your dreams. To Many ppl marriage brought the good luck. I am saying, as wise as u are, I still refuse to be like you. Let me make my own mistakes. @Youths. marry and build a life with your family. |
manie:i do not discredit yoyr point of view, but I c where u r coming from. Undoubtedly, you are from one of the few privileged low middle-class. I am as privileged as u, but the average Nigerian man isn't. And those are who I represent more. The comparison is way too vast. I wish ur ideas could thrive in Nigeria, but I'd rather be honest with u, it can't work in Naija. If u like hold workshops, trainings n seminars all over the country, still we need govt interference. A vivid example is INNOSON motors. Dangote is successful today cos of govt policies. We can only try, but the bottomline is govt. |
manie:I'm just beginning to realize that u are a magician. I'll be on the other side of 2020 waiting for the additional 60m jobs. Even Obama couldn't do it |
manie:for sure! But, so far so good why hasn't it reflected on the nation yet? |
The earlier you see yourself as the MD/CEO of Me Myself and I incorporated the better. In the past, people expect manna from heaven but now we need to make our own manna. There is a saying that heaven helps those who help themselves, I think you really need to renew your mind it will do you and your children a whole lot of good. Live and plan your life and that of your children as if no government existed. The purpose of our education is to equip one with the skills, tools and attitudes to be a productive member of the society. It is lazy minds that will complain about the quality of the education received in Nigeria. The internet has made the world a global village all you need to improve mind is just a click. We have people who graduated from Nigerian Universities who are making the nation proud in the post-graduate studies in foreign universities, while some are only complaining about the quality of our education. The percentage of educated Nigerians may be low, but those of us who are privileged to received University education should see it as a call to create opportunities and possibilities rather than waiting to be partakers of the dreams of other people. My brother as a man thinketh so so he is and will be. You need to change your mindset and values. Where you will be in 10 years will be determined by the type of friends you move with and the type of books you read. Hi Most Nigerian graduates may have the skills and tools, but what is lacking is the attitude. I will advise you to read a book attitude is everything by Keith Harrel. When 20% of Nigerians are creative, we shall see the impact on the life of the remaining difficult
sure thats rightly said. In addition, your kind of ideas is the reason why we say, "on your own". On your own can't build a nation. This was the belief of our ancestors when they believed in subsistence farming which could not stand civilization and and development. That is the same mindset educated ppl implore even our leaders. That mindset does not promote unity in the country. It is the reason why our leaders try to enrich themselves while in power, cos they believe in equipping their own selves and their families against the future. I am not in any way advising anyone to lay lazy n dilly dally his life away, but as in a way to create a bright future for the country the govt must be involved at the lead. |
manie:well said! Your points are not wrong at all, but would better serve in a Democratic setting. Are we truly Democratic? Does the average man even no his constitutional rights? Will the average man striking rock to make water ensure steadiness in the populace? Why does the average man need to vote if his survival and security depends on him alone? Talking about education, u asked of the essence of education if we can't solve our problems. Well, you will need to upgrade yourself on the percentage of uneducated ppl in Nigeria. U also need to ask the quality of education given to the said educated ones. I wish your ideas could work, but let me remind u that we have tried it for decades and we are still sinking in the mud. How much longer? Fela is a great man today cos his messages hit straight to the head and not the tail. Your contribution without a government policy cannot stand time, and it cannot reflect the generic objective of a nation. Bro, we are educated, we have tried, we are not letting up, but yet there is still a long way ahead. Governmental policies and programs can help us get there n in no time. Mention a countries that got positive transformation without strict governmental directives. Are we talking China, Japan, Singapore, US or France? It takes a leader to lead creative minds. Most of our intellectuals thrive elsewhere cos of better policies. How many inventors have had a breakthrough here in Nigeria? How many businesses have nosedived to the rock here in Nigeria? How many businesses have got bailed out? Your individual input requires a collective input. |
manie:I am not the govt. I refuse to accept that. Don't fool us with education. Reality check confirms that the masses know nothing in the govt. How am I the govt when I don't no how much my president is worth? How are we the govt when we have no access to information? How are we the govt. When we can't tell how the leaders get to their positions? How are we the govt. When we can't pay ourselves for over 6 months. How are we the govt. And we don't know where our loots go? When we can't influence decisions even when we protest. We can't hear our cries and we can't help ourselves. Get it clear, we were only taught that in school but practically the govt is vastly different from the masses. The fact that 1 million Nigerians could make their way thru poverty should not exclude your mind to the fact that over 170 million ppl do not have the same opportunities or endowments as the others. Do u know the number of disabled ppl in ur own society? Will u expect them to hustle like you? Do u know our IQ are different? Do u ever stop to realize that most ppl have tried and failed and need assistance to try again? Brother, Nigerians are not lazy. You can type words on NAIRALAND cos u can spell. Have u pondered that most of ur creative write-ups couldn't make it to some ppl who can't read? Brother, some eggs don't require same heat to incubate, but no egg can hatch in the fridge. Our parents have made the govt to believe that without them we can survive and today we the children pay the price. They say don't dwell on what the govt will do for u, but what u will do for the govt. Yet they tell us that we are the govt. Isnt that delusional? Ppl who can't get their pension will blame themselves? Our educational system is decayed we blame ourselves? No ministries to see to the need of the ppl is our fault? It took Bill Gates to vaccinate us, it took world bank to distribute mosquito nets. It took America to beef up our security. The govt owes us what they included as the constitutional rights of the nation. Don't fool us to thinking we are to blame. Encourage transparency in the govt n accountability |
No one should complain. Where gone all the "sai Baba" ? We all are welcome to relax, fasten your seat belt and be entertained by Baba. There's nothing anyone can do at this point. For those who betrayed Jonathan with hope, pls hold strong. For me, it is too early to complain. S/westerners are the ones cheering this uproar. Why? If S/westerners were appointed there wouldn't have been any uproar. I don't care whoever he appoints. All I care is the realization of the promises he made during his campaign #LetBabawork!!!! #nevertrustamancompletely |
donholy28:brother u no no. I'm telling u, u didn't no. Why wud u rather choose to be publicly embarrassed when u got the right word. Am saying no one knows it all. Just nicely say "thank you" and no come here come open eye for anybody. Ignorance is detachable |
manie:I agree with u, but in allusion poverty to us shouldn't be lacking food supply or common medicare. What we lose in corruption can enrich the average poor man in Nigeria. Thats y i say blame the govt. Without a job someone can file for unemployment benefits and our parents can also apply for SSI. Our govt. Is wealthy enuff to provide those programs for the citizens. What I feel u r referring is career/social success |
He can simply promote it in a Nollywood play |
donholy28:take corrections and win for life. Is a nicely positive response. It's a sax n not a trumpet |
Ain't we fooled by someone here? Air force was used to raid akwa ibom and Delta state, where there is relative peace. Boko haram in the north that has tarnished Nigerians image worldwide is still being barricaded at the borders. Why is there no air raiding? Is it just me, or does anyone else sense that our money now has a new exit route? Open ur eyes ppl. |
coogar:listen to yourself. What is Ur point based on? Poverty or marriage? These r two different things. Blame the govt for poverty not the individual. We don't have to suffer all the time for the sins of the govt. God himself said marry n multiply, what r u holding on for? At 25 isn't a man supposed to have his BSc and a job? At 25 are most men not living away from family? At 25 most men have lived with or dated many women. Even the law states 18 or 21 if am not mistaken. There's nothing holding a. Man from marriage at 25. By our school system at 17 latest one side have his SSCE and by 22 latest a degree and 24 latest his masters. PHD? which isn't damn on job market demand. travel and see bro. Your mates are all married and done raising kids. Our parents say marry early, I still support that. Is silly a man in his 60ies raising kids in sec school. That's why most men reduce their ages to stay in active service when they sud be seeking retirement. I've seen many ppl who waited till their late 40ies to settle down still heading for divorce. No marriage is safe from breakup if u like wait a hundred years #LETTHEYOUNGMARRY |
Gorgeous eyes where are u? She may have been kidnapped n hidden in someone's house. Pls, keep Ur eyes open on any suspicious characters |
Abeg Anybody notice that girl for the background? ![]() |
Lovely ke Am I seeing double![]() The footwear sha |
How is he promulgating it? Don't make him the devil for he is not even gay. Hold the gay men who seek liberation. They are the devils. Even when it were criminalized ppl still went on carrying out the act. Why are we blindedly blind? if he were gay that wud be understandable. Pls stop this ignorance. Whoever is fooling u is fooling u big. Leave Obama n face ur rulers. He's busy in America, lets fight our leaders for transparency |
nseke:MORALLY vocal What do u know about moral? Tell him Obama is not his problem. Let him know that his ppl are running to Obama for help. They were force out of poverty to sell their bodies to homosexuals in South Africa until South Africans started killing them. I haven't heard Ghanaian president call dust on Obama nor even open a subject concerning pressure from US govt to legalise homosexuality. Don't get fooled, he's only seeking attention from Obama. Funny enough the US got nothing to gain from invading his country. Forkeen African power greedy mongers#mugabeleavepower |
As an anti-gay Christian I will want to reiterate that homosexuality is extreme diabolic fanaticism. The idea that I find delusional is the sole attribution of gay right movement to Obama. Obama isn't gay and never invented it. He's the president of a super democratic country and as a politician there are many things he has to do to win support. The justice of the federation took time to deliberate on the issue to finally give in. The pressure was becoming too much on them. Even in most churches protests went on for gay rights. Bishops and top men in Catholic parishes have been exposed many times over sex with boys. Almost everyone in America gave in before the law was passed. Why kill Obama for what is also legal in some other countries before America. If Obama promulgated this why is American judicial system newly incorporating this in the law? Our leaders get us fooled that they r under pressure from America to legalise homosexuality and they are fighting for us. US have also put a lot of pressure on our govt to fight corruption. Who hears of it? No where in the world has America said they would seize giving aid if we criminalize homosexuality. That was not the reason why Jonathan lost his election. The US never funded Buhari's election. Someone should be explicit with the truth. The U.S. Government gave a total of $335,875,958 to Nigeria in 2012: The aid was broken down in the following manner: Economic Child Survival and Health: $-282,182 Department of Defense Security Assistance: $684,358 Development Assistance: $31,475,335 Global Health and Child Survival: $279,411,289 Global HIV/AIDS Initiative: $302,460 Narcotics Control: $746,973 Nonproliferation, Anti-Terrorism, Demining and Related: $2,283,372 Other Active Grant Programs: $6,679,502 Other State Assistance: $2,458,348 Other USAID Assistance: $7,168,203 Military Military Assistance, Total: $4,948,300 They stole ALL the money and still keep us in a pitiable state in which we could be easily compelled to accept something hor of our culture. Mugabe is being out rightly vocal about homosexuality, but what I distaste is using this medium to call Obama a devil when he spent decades depriving his subjects of better lives. Even if Obama were behind legalizing gay rights all over the world, there are countries he won't dare send those signals. Why do we have to put ourselves in sorry situations only to end up calling someone else evil and pretend to be camouflaged saints. Mugabe has done enough harm to his people and he should hide in shame. I hate when ppl think this man is a hero or a saint. Some ediotts simply need to sit down or exile themselves from public scene. I still wish all homosexuals would change if not they will die. All of them. |
