Why don't you ask your friend why the Sharia council approve the marriage and shielded the mother from seeing her daughter when she was in Kano?
well, in my opinion they made a huge mistake and they should tender an apology to the parents of Ese. My friend knows nothing about Ese or Kano state. Anyway, I also wonder how the Emir's instruction to send Ese back could have been disobeyed by a common Yunusa.... Isn't that funny? Also, what's the motive behind taking Ese to the palace? You may want to ask if it is a usual thing to bring foreign (little) girls to the palace since it wasn't spotted out as unusual at the palace... In the video we saw Ese lived in a fenced house. The building looked quite fabulous in Kano state. Does that suggest, Yunusa could have had some Royal back up? Parents denied custody- fenced building-emir palace-arrest granted only on emir's request.
We got some thinking to do.

Thanks bro for slaying that evil man. Moreover, I was having this discussion with a mate earlier this week. I thought Muslims should stand against imposters like Yunusa who drag their religion to the mud. Knowing that there are nice and sincere people who are muslims i find it very disgraceful to note that Muslims are called all sort of names like terrorists, adductors and suicide bombers. There should be an internal cleansing and public refutation cos' you guys cannot just watch these few sects make a mess of your religion.
In addition to the criminal act committed by Yunusa, forceful conversion to Islam which breaches her civil rights
hamingra:

You are very wrong. He committed 2 criminal acts. The first is statutory rape and the second is kidnapping. He must face the full weight of the law. As a Muslim he must also face the Sharia law for fornication, rape and kidnapping. We Muslims must be just even if it's against ourselves. Yunusa is wrong no matter how you look at it.

This should serve as a lesson to men who can't differentiate between likeness and lust. A child is a child, be her 1 month old or 17 years old.

Am baffled that you keep breathing after ur comment. Is a shame ppl like you are granted liberty. You don't belong to a sane society at all. inmates are dialing your number and am sure it will ring soon.
Dakad:
In as much that I'm totally against the action of this guy, I'm still of the opinion that it's more of two young people falling in love than the abduction. Most of our adolescent girls are very naive and don't think of the consequences of their actions especially when the claim they are in love. The only criminal offence here is forceful conversion to Islam. We see this stupid action of the adolescent girls here and there. That's why I keep encouraging parents to be closer to their adolescents

LEGALAide:

Jesus did not abolish the law (tithing).
He fulfilled it by, not just by giving a tenth of what he had, but by giving all he had - his life!
well, remember he asked the rich man to give away all he had and follow him. Riches mean nothing before God, he actually appreciates our worship n not material things. Tbh, it seems very clear that church offerings have placed pastors in the league of millionaire$. I wonder where they want to store such treasures. Jesus and his apostles and disciples neither paid taxes nor gained material wealth. As a matter of recognition, he said he had nowhere to lay his head. But, his works n that of his disciples pleased God. Churches don't teach the truth anymore, that's why most pastors cannot comment on issues like homosexuality and corruption.

sincerely speaking u just aired my curiosity. The accent is core Hausa and not Urhobo/Bayelsa. She gained so much weight than anticipated judging from the leaked pics we have seen of her. Her face here don't match with pics. It wasn't an arrest for which to say she resisted the police to cause such scenery. The footage had an aerial and landscape shots, which appears to me like an edited commercial movie scene. I didn't see anything depicting honesty here, it looks so so staged.

Ben Bruce is indeed an inspirational character in our political circle. You may argue that he gets itchy fingers on the internet, but in reality he's a visioner and a getter. Name it, Miss world, MBGN, Silverbird etc. Do you realize how many citizens silverbird alone takes off the market? Do you imagine the tax revenue made from that business alone? this is a clear case, Ma! Is not about marrying foreign spouses. I have Nigerian friends with similar cases too. My cousin also married a Benin lady who has since 2013 disappeared with three kids. If you knew what it means to lose full custody of a child you wouldn't make that racial comment. Millions of single Nigerian sisters pray for husbands everyday, and how many Nigerian men are getting married? If she found one anywhere, don't judge her. And, as a woman, if truly you are, your sympathy should have been easily decipherable in your comment.

I just can't scream enough over this trash. Why must the under privileged be used as stools for tortoises. I condemn some white folks who go to Nigeria with $2000 and cameras to take negative pics of Africa to sell abroad and make fame. Same thing our celebrities do. Gratuitous gifts used to make front pages of our dailies. That changes nothing. Oprah Winfrey built a school in SA, right? Why can't they do same and fund it if they are genuine?

Stop speaking from both sides of the mouth.
well, forgive me if that sounds on both ears, but that's the reality. I've seen 2 people shot dead cos' of $10 and the killer was never found. Back in the 90ies, in my neighborhood, a good man with 5 kids was shot dead because of 20,000 naira and his daughters were raped. What else! Does one gain confidence in our judicial system that is so corrupt and biased? I will say, this has been our tradition as Africans to sanitize our land. My only regret is that the rich are spared. It is not just an African thing, it is natural. It happens in Asian countries and the Americas.
In my point of view, any thief caught with a weapon that can kill or inflict serious bodily injury to a human should be taken off the streets. Listen, I follow some cases here and I find it unbelievable that a known n tried serial killer who has killed over a dozen innocent people is given only a 25 years sentence. How cruel is that? Jungle justice is exactly what gave Ghana a face lift and Nigeria needs it as well.

In as much as jungle justice system is evil in itself, the people have lost hopes in their judicial system. They have no hopes cos' people like you don't stand up for them. Nigeria is a typical jungle and that's the only system available for them. Judge the thieves for stealing. These robbers are actually serial killers who wouldn't stop. This one signed off his life before he took to stealing. At least it's one bad guy off the streets.
Though, I totally condemned killing except when I have to do it to save mine

well, we will stay suffering this way cos' people like you celebrate looters n treasonous acts. The entire country is in shambles. Nothing works for real, all you see is hoaxes. Is a known fact that you can't ignore, even if you stand for it, Atiku is an embezzler. you may ask OBJ if you need clarification on this. I don't think there's a better insider than OBJ and he openly accused him of stealing public funds. He's lucky he never faced a judicial system outside Nigeria.
