Some cities in africa develop faster than others. You take a city like lagos the government tries a lot . The net result is most of the people in the city development and planning of the city have never worked in a developed country or a developed city. Someone posted bus terminal it is a good idea but in reality it is 1 step forward 5 steps backwards. If you look at most of these developments in lagos high percentage off the things I imported example the bus , the streetlight, the bulbs, the cctv, the traffic lights and even the contracts are giving to companies which are not based in the country.so In reality it does not benefits and unemployment is also high

Nigerian simply don't have the money for modern policing..except maybe in 2 or 3 island or gated community.

Ohoo we had forex problems last in 1992 -nearly 30 yrs ago - when we devalued our Kshs to dollar from 1-20sh to 1-nearly 60s - and that was all.

You can interpret forex with import bill. You only need forex to import stuff or pay debts. We have more than enough cover -4 months.

Our Kshs is one of Africa most stable country because our Central Bank is not ran by voodoo like Nigerian one. And it's free-floating.

I think our forex reserve is 7-9$ billion dollars and it's doesn't swing with OIL like Nigeria. It kept pace with our import bill....and you can buy as much forex as you want in Nairobi. There is no black market. The problem is your naira shs is worthless.
