The test determines if you will be called for the interview. The department I got into only interviewed the first 10 from the aptitude test.
So practice for accuracy and speed.

I will speak for my self. Last year, I applied for the position of operator, I wrote just on test last year and didn't hear from them again. This year, I received the invite again, have written the first and second test, hopefully waiting for the next stage invite (interview)

People did interview for operator role no update till date and now they conducted another fresh assessment without inviting those that went for the interview to retake the assessment just few that went for the interview did the assessment again

I ended before the time elapsed… so i dont know if there was supposed to be another section

Just wrote the test for the OPERATOR role and saw ONLY one section…

If you check very well, I am not part of the operator candidate and i did not do interview for operator role. So am not pained. Just that some of them has spread fake news and misleading information here and that same person is first to say this. If you noticed, the moment someone else outside the person who has spread fake information confirmed it i did not argue it. But know that that am not part of the operator candidates. Am just against spreading fake and misleading information

To those of us who got the at this time email but didn’t resume in January 2025, just like me, I think it’s time to move on.

A friend of mine made it during the January 2025 batch, but he’s an engineering graduate. It’s safe to say the oil & gas space is still largely tilted towards engineers.

It’s been months of waiting and uncertainty. Nights like those in July/August 2023 and again in October 2024 are hard to forget, and yes, this feels just as heavy.

But sometimes, closing a door is the only way to truly heal. Over and out. I will deactivate this account and hopefully it will ease some of the weight too.

Its not necessarily tilted towards “engineers”…
I personally know a lot of “non-engineering” and even “non science related” persons who got the GT roles during the last recruitment

The reason why I asked was that the recent Trainee Technician rejection mail were sent out in batches. The first batch received theirs between 1:35pm to 1:38pm and it has a phrase "at this time". While the second which doesn't has came at a latter time.

Do you think that's a waitlist in disguise?

If there is a waitlist it would be clearly stated...

As far as i know, the successful guys have started their onboarding process and would be starting their training soon...

Only Technicians who reside in Lagos got mails for medicals. Other states haven't gotten medical mails. And they just got medical mails on Friday.
And some technician still got verification mail on Friday too
