I got this mail yesterday and i saw it as scam immediately i got the mail, because:
1. I didn't apply for this position
2. Even if they reviewed my profile there is supposed to be atleast an interview
3. The pay is way above what is obtainable as the average pay for that position
4. The email address it was sent to was not my official address, so I knew the person just got my details from LinkedIn

LinkedIn needs to do better because this is the second time I'm getting something like this...

Test questions were 70% calculations with no use of a calculator. Remaining questions are Use of English and few questions about their firm and managerial roles.

We are all aware of how bad nepotism and backyard connections have affected government recruitments in the past, but NEVER has it been this blatant to the extent that there is no proof of anyone who got in on merit (mind you I don't believe that statement that people were called from merit list and told not to speak), and there is no way anyone would say that all those that got the calls are not on this thread, cos if that's true then it makes it all the more suspicious

Invitation for tests were made via mails and not phone calls, so why is the APL now being given via secret phonecalls and not mails?

Keep waiting for answers to "critical questions". I don't know of any incentive to prove anything to doubting Thomases. If you are EH, I pray you're contacted from tomorrow. So far more of merit have collected their APLs than those that are based on stakeholder's consideration. The issuance is still ongoing. Nothing like interview for both GT and EH applicants. The committee took their time in the ES conference room to select uploads that stood out from the others with Federal Character in mind . All the best guys. Thank you.

Truth be told, if this is the process they had in mind, then they shouldn't have put people through the stress of writing 2 tests...

They should have just asked for CVs and documents and then made their selections...

No matter how we paint it, it sounds, looks and feels fraudulent... If it smells like a dead rat, its most likely a dead rat...
