Yeah i suspected so, but what bothers me alot is the amount of people that are claiming the state isn't safe, not a single person said otherwise.

Lagos is not safe (agberos fight almost on a daily basis)
Abuja is not safe (terrorists can attack at any time)
Kano and Kaduna are not safe (Boko harram is always on ground)
Imo and Anambra are not safe (IPOB and unknowngunmen are there)
Even whereever you are currently is not safe

I see no harm if someone tries to let people know about their experience during the test taken. No come be mind corrupter for Others.

Just a few tips... No matter how hard u practice, don't expect same question in the real test.... And take note of the time spent in answering a question because the real test time dey run o.

Some one said something about 2 sections
1. General ability: Numerical, verbal (comprehension), abstract
2. Mechanical for engineering and checking for non engineering

Good Evening Everyone,

I have been reading through the thread right from November and finally reached today's own.

Here are my questions.

1. I came across a particular post about most engineers living in ph and others in bonny Island, is it that engineers are adviced to stay ph and others in bonny?

2. Is living in bonny based on luck or is for people with higher ranks like Manager's directors e.t.c.

3. How long does this graduate training program lasts?

4. After the Graduate training program would someone automatically get a permanent position or you have to start another process?.

5. I have heard rumors that private sector job's are very stressful , Lack of freedom and they will drain you of energy. How true is this? If yes does it apply to Nlng?

6. How are accomodations in rivers state? As graduate trainee and what is the best place to stay whether you studied Civil, petroleum Engineering e.t.c and other departments.

Please pardon me if I my write up is not organized.
And please feel free to add your opinions as well.

3. Don't know right now, but i think not more than 6 months (i stand to be corrected on this)
4. Yes, its supposed to be automatic employment
5. Depends on how you define stress, but you'd definitely work for your pay...lol
6. Revert to number 1..and yea..accommodation is okay in rivers..

I stand to be corrected on all counts though

THINGS TO NOTE FOR THE TEST
1. It can only be done on a laptop that has a webcam

2. It will be proctored (monitored)

3. Try your best to ensure that you take the test at a stretch...that means get a laptop with good battery life or stay in a place with assured electricity supply so that you can do the test at a stretch.

4. Ensure that you are alone in the test venue and avoid distraction as the webcam would record all your facial movements during the test.

5. There won't be room to switch tabs (for those who want to be smart) as any attempt would be recorded against you.

6. Ensure there is adequate lighting where you take the test, so that your face is very visible via the webcam..

7. Its your prayer to score way higher than average because there would definitely be a cutoff, although we don't know what it is..So its our aim to score high

8. Try using the SHL practice link given to you, to get a hang of how the whole process would go...the link is in your email

9. If possible try accesing the practice link with different email accounts, because it can only be accessed ONCE PER EMAIL account.

10. Ops/tech guys all had the same questions (basic engineering) irrespective of discipline because they were all engineers...but right now we don't know if you all would have the same questions or if you would have discipline based questions...so just be prepared sha...
