Why is Akpabio accusing election losers for the organized protest? Why's everyone saying Peter Obi and Obidients are behind the protest? Is the North not hungry? Is the West having abundance of food ? Is fuel sold cheaper for APC members only? Is there anyone having life easy since fuel subsidy was removed? Why's Alex claiming that there will be no protest in Abia state? Why's no one leading protest in Abia state? Or are we going to only experience protest only in selected cities why other states that's subjecting their indigenes into poverty are bragging on media? |
anonimi:How can you not get it..... The North is playing the same politics with it.... I've explained this already.... They're hoarding food and using Boko Haram to cause food scarcity and price hike. Recently, in Kano they said that the Emir tussle will cause more people to carry arms and might be more dangerous than what Boko Haram is doing.... You should know that the North is really trying to control this government but they never said anything all through Buhari's regime. |
Gerrard59:Exactly....... |
VTJN:Lol..... Inflation is inflation..... It has nothing to do with which country it affects..... Again, go and romance Google... You're too ignorant! |
VTJN:Look, Emeka.... It's very easy to deny your region and claim a Yoruba because you think you develop Lagos state. But you should know that you don't have to shy away from your region no matter how bad it is..... Return back to your state and hold them accountable. The suffering affects even the rich... But they have everything in stock and so they're less concerned about it. |
VTJN:Emeka, Osun state is not your state of origin..... Go back to your yeast and face your muddy governors since you have nothing in your heard to tell them. |
Lol..... Writing to her organisation doesn't mean she will lose her permits... Dada Olusegun made a very dreaded statement and you all are blinded but focus on a mere posting of mobile number.... Same way you assumed that she'll face the law because she'd gotten away if it was Nigeria..... Is the same you you should understand that she can sue USA and win the case. U like in Nigeria where Dada Olusegun will use his position to detain her and be forming nonsense. |
Lol.,... Who paid BBN to advertise for the show, to divert Nigerians attention from the protest? I noticed nobody talking about it....... |
Omo, the fuel scarcity is really annoying and time consuming.... This country is really cursed... How can you have natural oil yet you can't power your house or have enough gas to drive around.... How can you be surrounded with rivers and you can't build dams to have constant energy? How can you have a population of 200m, enough create massive tax and generate revenue, yet the country is without good roads.... This country doesn't deserve a peaceful protest, but a brutal protest that should claim these politician's lives.... The suffering is enough... These people begged for good governance in 2012, Nigerians gave them power in 2015 and till date, they're still clueless.... Note: I advocated for state protest and not centered protest where damages will mainly affect properties and not the politicians. |
Beremx:Now, this is the problem I have with the North... They're the ones causing the hardship and the same people crying about hardship. We've been reading about Boko Haram demanding outrageous amounts of money from these poor farmers before giving them access to their farms.... The farmers in turn, will increase the price of the produce to meet up with the demands of the terrorist. The politicians in the North that are using these terrorist to play politics are the same people speaking up against the current adminstration. I'm not a supporter of Tinubu... But, recall when GEJ used force on Boko Haram and how lots of their kingsmen came out to threaten GEJ. Elrufai in particular threatened to retaliate. |
nnamdi640:Normally, this is the nonsense a fool like you often said.... You said because Peter Obi was not elected that you ibos will stay out of any political protest.... Today, you're fronting for it... Anyday I call for protest, it's easy to trigger idiots like you from the east..mm because the only thing you understand is violence... |
VTJN:I want to believe that you've never had a date with Google in your life..... There's no way you'd missed out on a vital information as this..... Inflation is global... |
nnamdi640:Perhaps you're either too forgetful or you're a dummy.... Ever since you started quoting me... I've maintained that people should return to their state of origin to protest not state of residence..... You're the one that's really stupid! If you doubt me... Return back to all my quotes! |
VTJN:You're saying this because you've never step out of Nigeria before.... Else you will know that the inflation is a global issue. |
nnamdi640:But Tinubu is from Lagos and he staged his protest in Lagos state. |
Let's see what you're about to drop this time around.... |
kingbee90:The FG sued the state governors.... You want to tell me that the state governors don't know what law to quote to win the case? The LGA autonomy is a step further to grass root development. And Wike is too small to influence Tinubu to enact the bill for LGA autonomy. You asked how will the poor cope? If you know what LGA autonomy is all about z this question would be stupid for you to ask. |
nairalanda1:Inward generation of revenues isn't about tax increase.... 1. Creating toll gates to most used roads.... 2. Creating public car parks. 3. Public toilets 4. Ensuring that revenues generated are directly paid to the state government accounts and defaulters receive debits from the banks without the sister agencies involved. Take for instance, Kano state, if you beat the traffic, you get debits directly from your phone because all phones linked to your BVN is registered to your driver's license. You don't get to play around with the police asking you to pay for disobeying traffics. 5. Taking development to other cities aside the capital cities.... |
VTJN:What changed? Again, you need to understand this hardship is global and the inflation is talked about globally as well.... |
nairalanda1:Every governors have the ability to pay above the 70k pegged. But because of corruption and what they want to embezzle, they don't want to shower the funds on the workers. Let the governors cut off excess aids and governors convoys and their state house allocations. Let them downsize putting their families on payroll even when they're not working. The governors should inwardly generate revenues to augment their state covers. Let the governors also make their state a business hub as well as empower the youths and also to create an enabling environment for investors. |
VTJN:Tell me how the governors are exempted from this? Tinubu removed subsidy, increase electricity tariff and used the gain from the money to increase the money given to state to cushion the effect of hardship... Yet it's Tinubu that is to be blamed. Also, constitution allowance was paid to NASS membership, but non of them brings the money home to empower the youths. But you will see Northern lawmakers buying machine and other skills equipment for the youths of some communities. Is this obtainable in the south? But we overlook the activities of the governors and focus on the president. That's why we're misplacing the priority of this protest. |
Chibuezem:I don't have such energy... Read through the pages and see for yourself... |
Mom007:I wasn't a fan of those.... Tom and Jerry was my favourite and it used to be broadcast around 3pm before 4pm news. |
VTJN:So your governor plays no rule and the we keep voting for such position in a democratic country? Are you sound at all? Again, removing subsidy means that state allocations will rise up and that was to cushion the hardship. The electricity tariff was ration based on bands..... And the people in band-A pays higher than those in the least bands.... |
nnamdi640:Since you don't even know anything...it's really hard to engage you. If the governors have no rule to play in a democratic country like Nigeria, then voting for such position is useless.... Also, since we are to protest since the president is in Abuja, why don't you mobilize to Abuja and leave Lagos state alone? Go where you will be heard.... |
MetalJigsaw:Since you're a non-tribal sentimental fool.... Why did you identify yourself as a Yoruba? You're the biggest idiot here! |
searchlight:Lol... How can Tinubu give steady electricity? Anyway, let me explain... First, the TCN must have ordered for steady distribution of power across the country probably when we have excess storage of it. But a certain generator company would bribe some officials to claim damages on units and why they can't supply steadily. This way, keeping lots of people in the dark. And whenever there's a national show.... The will stylishly supply power and before the show or few minutes into the show, they will cease the light.... Frustrated individuals will acquire the generator to avoid blackouts and frustration. |
nnamdi640:Nnamdi, go and hold your governors accountable.... Don't you want Abia state to be a better state for you and your generation? There's no problem here .... I want the protest to take place... But let all of us go back to the table and discuss with our governors. How can you be using you ibotic accent to tell a Yoruba man that you're hungry in Lagos and that the Yoruba governor should do better..... When your own governor is burning fuel around with convoys and not paying pension/salary as at when due.... |
RomanGreen:Lol.... Go to your state and protest.... When your state gets better, stay there and enjoy the crumbs and stop worrying about which Lagos government you should support or not... Nigeria will always be tribalistic because you focus more on a governor that isn't your governor.,...more than your own governor who's representing you. |
Chibuezem:Isn't that what is playing out at the moment? All ibos quoting me and giving me a million reasons why they should protest in Lagos? But Imo, Enough, Anambra, Abia and the rest are rotting out with governors handling the state economy with whap mentality. The government of Lagos is the best governor so far when it comes to visionary and development. There's no governor of Lagos that isn't up and doing. But ibos focus and make these Lagos governor more popular than their own governors. |
PSmurf:What does that have to do with ensuring that your own governor does the right thing if you hold him accountable..... Since you focus so much on the president.... Tell me how the rot in your state will make a difference? |
VTJN:It's easy for you to shy away from the real things but only agree to point fingers. If only you're willing to learn and to relearn... That's when you can be objective and not one minded focus. Your leaders are the problem...but which of the leaders should you hold accountable? But since you chose to focus on the president.... I wish you well . |
