Seriously, if the definition of dark skin by Kenyans is Lupitia Nyongo, then i finally see where the whole misunderstanding and false accusation is coming from.

*** People with Lupita's skintone in Nigeria are classified as 'extremely dark skinned' or 'very black' n not just dark-skinned.

I have never seen white pple classify themselves as white,light white or dark white. It's just white.

The pics you have shared we usually call them chocolate. But does it really matter? is colour that big of an issue?
Many of my colleagues are whites,Africans and Indians period.

I've read in this forum that Rwandas and Tanzanians are beautiful.

My grandmother from my mother side had partial Tigray ancestors and she was so white that they used to call her wheat. I never know her.

I think Africa's beauty reside in E.Africa.. Rwandese are very very beautiful Tanzanian in General also very beautiful kenya beauty depends on Tribe..

Look, all ethnicities in Ethiopia had extensively mixed with each others for many centuries, so it's sometimes to differentiate one from the others, especially the so called Habesha peoples.

From the random pics you shared the Tigrays were outstanding... Every African associate's Ethiopia with beautiful ladies. Rwanda come close second

The periodization of Ethiopia history is different from other African countries because of not being colonized. Other African countries history is classified as pre colonization, colonization and post colonization.

Do you also classify your history like this in your history book even if you aren't that much in history?

Yes I remember that classification and also direct and indirect rule of colonization

- King of Shoa/Shewa from 1866 - 1889 GC and Atse(Emperor) of Ethiopia from 1889 - 1913 GC.
- came from a mixed backgrounds of Amhara and Oromo.
- fluently spoke Amharic, Oromia, English and French.
- also known by some Ethiopians as emiya Menelik, because of his forgiving nature and his selfless deeds for the poor.
- finished the reunification of Ethiopia that was started by previous Atse Tewodros II and continued by Yohannes IV.
- is disliked by some Oromos and few others.
- defeated the Italians colonizers at 3 battles. The last battle is the famous battle of Adwa.
- died in 3/4/1906 EC or December 12, 1913 GC.

I learnt about this guy in school, history class.
