You guys are so impossible!
Who made the ranking of the Naija cities with more highrise buildings?
The same waterfront in all pics.
How different do these pictures look from each other for one to say that this is not PH?
I asked a question? is it so difficult to answer?what is the name of that bridge...

says you .I don't need to proof to you that your pictures aren't port - Harcourt because it's no use when I told you reality on ground.
let ask this question if those of your pictures were truly that of port -Harcourt as you claimed how come it didn't beat ibadan and abuja in the cities with most number of high rise building in the country.

do yourself a favour and zoom the pictures closely and tell yourself the truth especially the first picture.
On the first picture I can see a suspension bridge.. where is that in PH

What is a shame? That the Mombasa city you are trying to brag about is poorer than the national average of Kenya (in per capital income)?

Rivers state (where PH city is found) is 2 times richer than the Nigerian national average. This means PH city should be 4 times richer than the national average (in per capital come).
This shows that anyone who migrates to PH city has better prospects of being more succesful than anyone who migrates to Mombasa. grin
Hahaha We alway come to this when you have nothing to say.

You do not expect Nigerian cities to have many photos compared to Kenyan cities that are being advertised for tourism purposes.

The wealth of our cities usually speak more volumes for us.

These few photos of PH below should tell you that this is not a city to joke with, even though there are no many photos of the city.
I do not believe the issue is number of photos but number of good photos...

Pls, try to source it out!

Let's make sure that all these beautiful and luxurious resorts we are seeing in Kenya is not for nothing.
Honestly you should change your mentality... I remember guys saying the reason why Kenyan cities and towns
Have some ambience and aesthetic is because of tourist... this is alame excuse, we are here from Jan to Dec while the tourist are like a passing cloud.

The figures does not matter, it employs almost amillion families direct and indirect, to me that is what matters.

And by the way kenyans are among the biggest customers to this resorts. They are not for outsiders only.

I've always asked many Kenyans this question but never gotten an answer, what is the net worth of your tourism industry?
I honestly do not have an answer but the best calculation is not networth but yearly earnings from tourism... still you will not get the correct figures coz they do not include domestic tourist.

Years ago tourists used to flock to Kano for the durbar festival and Yankari national park. Nigeria used to lend money to South Korea and Singapore in the 60s, look at where they've come now.

Everything is about oil now. If Nigeria loosens its dependency, then its potential can be realized.
The best thing is to use oil money to diversify the economy. It never too late

I couldn't agree more.
Nigeria needs to recognize its tourism potential especially with the instability in oil prices. Tourism used to be a big industry in Nigeria until oil. Many of Nigeria's tourist sites are not properly maintained.

In terms if history, Nigeria has a lot to offer. There are many sites in Nigeria that are either recognized by UNESCO or are listed for consideration.

The kano medieval old city with its tubali architecture and walls.
There is also the medieval Benin walls, largest earthworks in the world.
Sungbo eredo fortress- the second largest earthworks after Benin's walls dating as back as 800 Ad (needs more exploration)
waziri Junaidu museum- hosting historical artifacts from the Sokoto region as far back as the 4th century BCE including terracotta, manuscripts, and swords.
Ile-ife
Osun-osogbo- an ancient grove containing the ruins of Osogbo as well as hosting an annual spiritual pilgrimage.
Sukurr- containing ruins of 700 year old ruins.
Esie- hosting the largest collection of soapstone carvings in the world from the 11th century
Ikom monoliths- series of monoliths dating up to 2000 years ago containing the ancient Nsibidi writings.
Badagry- A slave port with many colonial relics and also amazing beaches.

in terms if culture, Nigeria has so many cultural relics and traditions as well as hundreds of cultural festivities celebrated by its various ethnic communities.
Some best known example are
egungun festivals, eyo, argungu, new yam, carnival, durbar, etc.

many natural sites that could benefit from revitalization and tourism
Yankari, Okomu, Kanji, Gashaka Gumpti, Afi mountains, Obudu, Jos, Old Oyo, Cross river, Mambilla plateau, Lake Chad park, not to mention hundreds if km of coastal area for beach tourism.
Nigeria has grt potential but is still sleeping... the biggest attraction in Egypt are the pyramids...not the beach, cities or Animals.
