The prosecution be it the ICPC, EFCC, POLICE, ETC will do the withdrawal. But the main meat is that the victim wants it.

I can forgive a man that stole my phone and tell the police and court so.
He will be discharged, not acquitted. Matter struck out.

You can apply to withdraw & the Court will refuse your application based on the Court's discretion that your grounds on notice of discontinuance is flawed/insufficient. It happens.

Under s 75 CC she can decide to withdraw the matter even in court.

Assuming this senator apologises, takes her to the hispital etc and she feels satisfied. She can approach the court for withdrawal.

Yes, while she can withdraw a civil case (instituted by her against the Senator for damages), she can't do same for a criminal case, since it will be The State or FGN vs Elisha Abbo & not her as an individual vs Elisha Abbo.

East - West road (Bayelsa - Choba axis) and Abuja - Kaduna road have become kidnappers' haven, and, hence deathtraps to citizens plying that route.

Trust the government to adopt the Ostrich mentality, until someone 'important' is affected. Then you'll see them running helter skelter & taking temporary palliative measures. After a short while, the whole incident will be forgotten & the road(s) will return to status quo.

My car kept stalling in traffic. So I scanned but no code. Kazeem advised I change my fuel pump which I did. But I almost ran a bike over because the vehicle kept stalling and loosing break function after the fuel pump change.

I scanned the 5th time and got the P1009 code: dirty oil, Vtc strainer and solenoid. But I just serviced this car last week!!!

Kazeem checked again and advised work on the nozzle and throttle body but I insisted he work with the p1009 code.

After cleaning vtc solenoid, vtc strainer and changing the oil and filter all over again but my car still stalls when i slow down from 100km/h to 20km/h.

Gurus please what else can I do?

The first time you noticed it, did you just buy fuel that day?

And, honestly, I'm surprised it's even coming from you.
You just followed the bandwagon & joined almost everyone in taking her words out of context.

She's not complaining that her husband is still riding a bike. Rather, she's correcting the erroneous belief, out there, that her family's made megabucks from the whole thing.
She's saying that their everyday life is basically still the same, save for Success getting her 3rd term fees paid & the government promising her a scholarship.

I know neither the girl nor her family, but it's good we don't take people's words out of context just to suit our narrative.
