Pls I have one 05 toyota corolla that has been giving me issue on this matter. It suddenly doesn't start in one attempt especially in the morning. It takes about three attempts for it to start & one it does, it jerks for about 2 secs & firs high before it stabilizes. I have changed d fuel pum twice, changed d fuel filter, service d nuzzle & injector....yet no show. I dont know what else to do; pls I need some help

Where do you buy your fuel from? Do you constantly buy fuel from the same source?

I ask because I had this same issue of vibrating & self-firing on every cold start in the morning. Mechanic was certain it was the injector. Bought injector cleaner & used it to no avail.

But, then, I remembered that I started experiencing the issue after my last fuel purchase from a "trusted" filling station. Seeing twas full tank I bought, I stopped bothering myself & managed the car til I exhausted the fuel totally.

Afterwards, I went to that same filling station & bought fuel again, this time small quantity first. Voila, the issue stopped. Twas the previous fuel all along. A colleague who bought fuel from them, same period, experienced the same issue.

There are some Yoruba or Ebira words that have no English equivalent.
