Aliciakeys: Double tuales 2 Chukwuma, slord, Sanguine and Sammy... You all just equipped someone with a rare knowledge...Where's my own tuale? ![]() |
Sanguine: Great one there Jayjagz. You said it all. I rep EAC. If I may ask, what was your combination?Wow! Good! My subject combination was EHL. I think a common man should know that those benefits accrue to successful candidates alone; no pain, no gain but thanks sha. It's hard work as you said oo. I could remember that J-rapha doctor asking me whether I want to die or I want to leave because he said I should take at least 8hours rest a day and I said no.....Lolz. |
slord: @Jayjags,what skul are u now,a gud numba of ma frnds finished from EAC,infact dats where i wrote my exam.nd also what set did u finishI'm now a Law student of UI and I finished 2011. |
Aliciakeys: Majority of us must have heard about Cambridge A levels, one way or the other but not everyone knows what it really entails or details about it.. Providing details about A levels will really help someone in need of it, someone like me..I don't really know any centre in Enugu but I did mine at Educational Advancement Centre(EAC), Bodija, Ibadan. The duration in Nigeria is normally 10months but it also depends on individual intelligence because I've seen someone that spent less than 6months and still had the best result in the world(A*A*A*) and I also spent 6months and I've been admitted as well. Some even decide to spend 2years which is the duration abroad. Talking about the fees; it can be divided into 2 (I) The tuition fee: this varies from one centre to another. (ii)The Exam fee: It also depends on the subject combination but the exam fee is now over 100k. The date of commencement also vary because there are 2 exams in a year just like the popular WAEC. We have the May/June and the Oct/Nov., therefore I leave you to the calculation of 10months interval but I'll advice anybody to take May/June. Same goes for the end date. Lastly, the benefit of cambridge A' levels cannot be over emphasised especially when compared to UTME. It can be used anywhere in the world, it can be included in your C.V because it doesn't expire, it can be used to seek employment, it can be used to gain admission directly into 200L just to mention a few. Let me give you this testimony about Cambridge A' levels. John and Samuel are graduates of Petroleum Engineering. John graduated with first class while Samuel graduated with 2:1 but has A' levels. There come a day the went to for an interview at Exxon Mobile and they employed Samuel who had 2:1 believing he's more practical since he hold a cambridge A' levels certificate. Good luck |
The first military governor of Ogun state, Chief Sesan Soluade has joined his ancestors as an octogenarian. Late Chief Soluade who passed on in the hospital after a battled illness will forever be remembered for his formidable contribution to Nigeria's development in politics, teaching as well as in God's only temple. Baba has taught eminent personalities in the countries including Dr. Reuben Abati, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Mr Tunde Lemo among others. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. |
Nobody is saying schooling will make you rich but we want you to know that if you pass through school and you allow school to pass through you, you can actually be better than who you will be if you don't go to school depending on yourself and attitude towards you future. In my humble opinion, if you say Dangote didn't go to school and he's the richest man in Africa, why can you think that he might as well have been among the top 5 richest in the world had he gone to school? |
FrancisTony: yea, bethilicious, taylor, jj9ice etcYea. Thanks. I later found the person's name. I welcome you to the faculty. |
Pls, has anyone seen his/her name in Law? |
Assuming the prayer will make his more effective and turn in into an agent of change for Nigeria, it would have been meaningful but let's wait and see.......To me, he's just a disappointment because if someone that claims to have walked bare-footed to school can treat us like this I don't know what you want one born with a silver spoon to do. |
piyse: Hi uites. Please can someone text me the list of 100l and 200l courses for law.Congrats o! Although I'm not in the best position to text you 100L courses because I entered through DE. 200L courses includes Administrative Law, Law of contract, Constitutional lae, Nigerian legal system, introduction to computer science(CSC 101) and General studies. |
I almost waited for 1 year but I believe I didn't wait. When I finished my secondary school education, I took UTME but on the day of the exam the biometric machine was bringing another person's name anytime I place my finger so I was denied access into the exam hall and was allowed in 1hours before the end of the exam so my score was low(232). I could gain admission into Unilag because I wanted Law but I was offered English which I rejected. I went for Cambridge A'Levels even though I had less than 6months left but I thank God I was able to make it and that was how I gained admission into UI(200L) to study Law. So it is as if I didn't loose any year. |
ms_pee: Thanks dear. God bless you!Thank God. You too. |
ms_pee: "My money grows like grass".HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. |
sodiqyinka: its still ur first year, you'll find out pretty soon what im tlkin abt.I still want you to know that basing your opinion on generality is making it faulty because one man's meat is another man's poison. Thanks. |
My dear poster, I understand your plight and I didn't see any necessity for guys to be choosy until I saw this picture below. Definitely, it's only logical for a guy to decline when what he got is not what he bargained for. As someone has rightly said "PACKAGING". Let's be frank pls, nobody wants a chameleon.

Wake up bro!!!You're a disgrace to your Ahmadu Bello University! If not you would have read and understood the title of this thread. Anyway, courtesy demands that you excuse us. Thanks. Beloxxy: Is it right for a girl to give in to sex with a guy she has been dating for a year without sex? Though romance was involved, the guy worships the ground she steps on,he does virtually everything for her and is ready to wait till she is ready for sex. What do ya think? She really wants to have sex with him as much as he does, should she go ahead? She is a virgin... 20years old...Hmmm! I, as a person, won't advise her to go into that. It's good for the relationship to continue in love because no matter how much love the guy has for the girl, once they have sex, it begins to deteriorate and the girl will finally have herself to blame. Apart from the fact that pre-marital sex is a sin, it was also recorded in the bible that the love Amnon had for Tamar was beyond what words can describe but immediately sex was introduced, hatred set in. So, in my humble opinion as a guy, I'll advise the girl to wait until they're married because even if the guy fail to marry her in future, she can easily forget and this will cause little or no psychological problem. She also runs the risk of having multiple partners thereinafter. Plsssssss, let her say NO to pre-marital sex and there's every possibility that the guy will wait till after marriage if he really loves her. |

Abdul Fattah: Hello Everyone,My amiable class rep! |
sodiqyinka: dulling hallThanks for your personal opinion. |
ogagusps3: Greatest Bellites!!!!!!!!!!Great! |
This is cool...... |
ketoprofen: i think d problem with sw peeps(aside lagos citizens) is that they didnt start seeing good tnz on time, any small token becomes 'OUTSTANDING' to them. That SW peeps did not start seeing good things in time is your personal opinion, anyway, but I want you to know that we've not said he's to make the list merely because he's embarking on this projects but the time range matters in evaluations like this. Can you imagine someone who emerged in 2011 competing favourably with those of 1999, 2003 and 2007? |
eaglechild: So Fashola is now God, that his commendation means Amosu is one of his angels that are helping to save the earth. You've not made any point. |
Afam4eva: Is that enough to include him in a list that spans over a decade? He's doing some projects, all well and good but is he the only one undergoing such projects. We're talking of people like Fashola who caused a revolution in their respective field and not a governor that's still trying to bring to fruition his vision.Mr. Man, you're not putting other factors into consideration. You're educated, right? So I expect someone like you to consider factors like the number of years Fashola has spent as governor, the amount Lagos receives as monthly allocation from the federation account, the internally generated revenue of Lagos state compared to that of Ogun among others. Evaluations like this requires objectivity, hun? Even Fashola you're shouting commended Amosun on this unprecedented resurfacing of the state. |
ketoprofen: ok.The fact that he commented on his other plans doesn't mean the Governor is only drawing up plans without implementing them. The intelligent approach of Governor Ibikunle Amosun to the speedy development of Ogun State cannot be over-emphasised considering the short period it took even a common man to notice the dramatic change in the face of the state. His road construction projects can be described as nothing but first class even though it can't be done without stepping on toes. Before someone like Obasanjo can commend him despite that he's a defunct ACN Governor. I am an indigene of Ogun state but I school in Oyo state; on getting back to Ogun state it was only by God's grace I didn't mistake Ogun state. Other sectors have also enjoyed remarkable attention. They are just too fast with the building of the model schools and even the public primary schools which were not even conducive for dogs talk less of students have now been restructured, to mention a few. I must confess, Governor Ibikunle Amosun is committed to his mission to rebuild Ogun State. |
Thanks bro. |
konklushun: .Please, help me send it to my e-mail as well. Ogunmodede_jagun@live.com. I'll be very grateful. |
Thanks for the honest post. There's no doubt that there's need for a source of livelihood before going into a relationship but what amazes me most that some guys knows that all the girl wants is their money and they still go ahead with such inimical and counter-productive relationships. However, we must not forget the fact that there are some girls that are ready to support the guy and hold the ladder of success for him but this is based on one condition which is ambition coupled with focus. At least, I've seen a girl that even paid his boyfriend's school fees till the guy finished because she started working before him and everything went on well. They are living a happy life now. But BEWARE! What favours A may be to the disadvantage of B. |
Nice one @MrbrownJay. Then, OP, Even if you end up marrying her, you must have made up your mind NEVER to say anything about "ashewo" again. |
