Jaqenhghar:Ohh God. Fury and Wilder are ducking him. Don't you know. You can't force don't that don't want to fight you na. They are both out pricing themselves. AJ has beaten 5 of WBC top ten. So who is there to fight. He is currently taking Big baby a no 7 ranked boxer. If Eddy has not done him good then mention another promoter that can do half of what Eddie has done for AJ. Four belts in 22 fight and have unified 3 times to. Aba |
saintandsinnerz:Now someone that knows boxing is talking. Look bro it was initially thought that he stood a chance but not after the Fury fight. Wilder is being helped to keep his belt by WBC until recently. Another referee would have stopped the match against Ortiz in round 7 after about 15 unreplied punches. At the beginning of 8th round the referee called in a doctor to check wilder out thus buying him more time. Mind you Ortiz is old and hypertensive even before the fight. The Fury fight exposed him big time. Did you wonder why AJ went to America to start calling him out but team Wilder are wise, they don't want to risk feeding him to AJ now especially with the Wilder Fury rematch that can earn both fighter about 20 million each. Barry Hearn, Eddy's dad said it's the easiest fight for AJ. The only fighter that can give AJ problem is Usyk and maybe Fury because of his awkwardness |
Bonapart:People like you will just come and spill ignorance. AJ running and he booked Wembley for April 13th. AJ running and he named fight with Povetkin "Road to undisputed" AJ running and his team offered Wilder 12.5million, increased to 20 million and last 28 million yet Team Wilder not responding? Mind you the highest Doentay Wilder ever made was 2.1million against Ortiz and about 6 million against Fury. He is then asking the cash cow of boxing that he wants a 60 percentage split in his favour. Infact AJ is begging for the fight. Hardcores know its the easiest fight for AJ out there Doentay Wilder is a one trick knock out guy that can't even through a decent punch. When the fight finally get made, I'm betting AJ to knock him out in 3. Sorry you're a casual. |
I'm used to being sued.. I'm a presidential candidate, after the election I'll get immunity. ![]() |
naptu2:He actually rebukes it. |
Sowore is too intelligent I tell you. His answers are realistic and on point. |
His baby mama is the best. You don't even know who she is hence no unnecessary drama. |
justfash50:It is not just eloquence alone but the quality of his ideas whihc are above par. Didn't you hear him talk about devolution of power and seeking means to practice true federalism? If he achieves this then the legal barrier to power generation by Lagos state would be solved. |
The outcome of yesterday's debate is going to dominate today's conversation no doubt. The fairest debate ever IMO. My unbiased positions are as follows 1. Gbadamosi Babatunde 1st 2. Sanwo Olu 2nd 3. Jimi Agbaje 3rd 4 Salis 4th Thanks to The Platform, a brainchild of Poju Oyemade, the pastor of covenant Christian Centre. The truth is that Jimi could have done better. If I were to be Jimi Agbaje, I'll be criticising Lagos government decisions every week. I must always be in the news to constantly rob it on people's face that I can do better. Voice out better alternatives to any project they do, with this he would have been in the news and we would have unconsciously have seen him as a better alternatives. This he should have done while building political structures among the not too educated that always vote at the grass root. |
This should be one of the roles of the church in our political space. Providing a non bias platform for candidates to communicate their intentions so we can have a better clarity on who to elect. Imagine there was no platform like that, how would we have discovered Gbadamosi. This is the most unbiased debate I've seen in Nigeria with the choice of moderator, a Non Nigeria Nigerian lol... a perfect one. Others should learn from Covenant Christian Centre. I can forgive the little glitches with sound being their first edition. The questions were of good standards and fair. God bless Mr Poju [as he was called yesterday], the pastor of the church for such an idea. And the fact that it was not colourized with religion is a thumbs up. There was no way you can infer that it was a church organised program yesterday. BON and Channels have a lot to learn from this people. Later some people will say the church is not doing anything. |

Hmmm |
A wilder win though |
Let's go |
taxiappguy:He came during the Klitchko fight. He wasn't just amazed but it sowed the seed of jealously in him. Only for him to get to US and started calling out AJ. |
hinograce:There wasn't a valid offer from Wilder team. The 50 million was not from Widers team but from a TV company which will make AJ break his contractual agreement with match room. |
taxiappguy:You seem to be the only one that really understand boxing here. Twale. That fight would have been stopped earlier especially in the seventh round but the referee for reason best known to him didn't stop the fight. Wilder as only fought one credible opponent in his entire life. He docked Klitchko after his 33 fight with his management saying he is still a prospect . The sad thing is that, the same management is managing Efe Ajagba and they are gradually turning him to Wilder. |
jhaymatic:Technique from Fury yet but Wilder, none cos he's got no technical skills than maintain a straight jab why waiting for an opportunity to land a right hand that would KO his opponent. |
Platinumay:It's unlikely the winner will face AJ. AJ wants to fight Wilder but wilder is ducking by asking for ridiculous percentage of 60/40 or 50/50 despite Eddy Hearn, AJ management offering him initial 15 million for someone whose highest earning so far is against Ortiz where he earned 2.1milllion. If Wilder win he'll further make negotiations more difficult. Fury winning him would make negotiation better cos that will humble him because AJ already said he would fight him even if he loses to Fury. And Fury said he'll allow him fight AJ in April even if he wins him despite the rematch clause. AJvsWilder is what the fan wants to see. |
okwabayi:I get you but heavy weight is my thing. The sweet thing is in the power punches. You need to see Whyte Chisora 1 and you'll understand you're missing lovely brawls. The division is very interesting now. |
hinograce:For you to say Wilder is extremely good means you don't know Jack about boxing. In fact, he is an embarrassment to the division. How can you be a champion yet lacks basic skills of boxing, common boxing 101 skills. What has helped Wilder so far is his right hand. He has a powerful right hand, which he uses like a windmill. Imagine him throwing his weight behind that right hand and imagine how powerful it will be. He'll only win Fury if the fight didn't go distance. |
I'm coming |
It is not as profitable as before considering the advent of social media. How many people sit to watch programs on TV but most are on social media. Instead of spending so much money on TV airtime, this money can achieve a better result with a targeted online campaign and marketing because everything still boys down to marketing. |
Is it by force to support you. Politics is about interest man. This same Atiku would sing Tinubu's praise had it been he supported him. You all make Tinubu so powerful through your actions but will be too quick to dismiss his influence. |
Very wrong if you ask me. |
bilms:I don't know when he started his "takeitback" like agenda but he only came to limelight just recently. You and I have always known Sowore since Yar'aduas period and some people far back since 1992 when he was fighting for democracy. And on whether he has better structure than Sowore, time will tell. Instead of asking Sowore to team up with him, he should better team up with his fellow ANN presidential candidate Fela Durotoye. |
A |
emerged01:Sowore and many of his supporters knows that he can't win 2019 but they want to use his popularity to champion the takeitback movement. It is certain that without buying election he will come third with significant votes and we all can take it back from there come 2023. It is a long term plan. AAC had my votes and that of my circle of influence any day any time. |
Sowore started this since with his takeitback movement. I would have preferred him to team up with Sowore and not contest individually because comparing from campaign so far, Sowore seems to be the only one giving the major PDP/APC a run for their money |
Jayloy:Any response |
@ekpotek I have a challenge, I applied for standard tourist visa. I did biometrics at TLS Ikeja since October 2nd yet no response from UKVI though I got a mail of applications receipt on 4th working day. I called UKVI twice on the 14th and 17th working days yet I was told no decision has been made. I asked them to escalate it when I last called on the 17th working day but the truth is that I'm bothered. It is over 18 working days yet no response from them and most people that apply around this time get response within 15 days. What can I do to hasten up response as my time line for travelling is fast approaching? Is the delay in response usually a positive sign or what? Is anybody here with similar delay within this time frame?? Modified: Finally got my visa on the 19th working day. Decision was made on the 17th. Visa Granted. Na God win. |
