deeife: Hello. Please i have a few questions to ask.
I got accepted into UTHM Parit Raja, Batu Parat, Johor Malaysia. I deferred cos the admission came 4days to resumption and it was going to take a while to get a visa and so much time had elasped with the visa processing. Got my new letter first week of december and started the visa processing. Using EMGS iv bn tracking my progress and it is 70percent. Just want to ask how long exactly it will take for the visa to be ready cos it has been 70% percent for a while.
2ndly please what can you tell me about the town. I am really not encouraged from what iv hrd. Is there a reasonable number of nigerians there? Please, how did you get letter of eligibility for the visa approval letter? |

Yhinkss: Oga marvin you better keep your epistle to yourself for now. Because they so much take us citizenry for a ride. They need to be taught a lesson. Which corrupt judicial system are you talking of. Is it not the same that freed james ibori Is it not the same that freed Maina Is it not the same with Fani Kayode etc Guy we are not ripe yet for true democracy. What we need now is a strong hand to do what is right. We the good citizen are not complaining or where were your for 7 years while the large scale looting was on and we never heard the name EFCC Jonathan suppressed them completely because he himself is corruption
Yes, true we need strong institution but that is at a latter time for strengthening but what we need now is a tyrant, gat that? Bros, since we are not ready for democracy, what system of government are we ready for? Is it the military government? Oh, what we need now is a tyrant? Do you know what happens in a totalitarian government? Is it the military governments that used oil blocs to pay bride price? The truth is that Nigeria is too complex for a totalitarian government. I dare say that our democracy has grown since 1999. What it needs is restructuring. Finally, I always say that what we need are strong institutions and not strong men. Peace! |

omenka: Jane (presume that's your name), institutions don't build themselves, people build institutions and strict enforceable laws sustain and make them thrive even long after their founders are no more. What we need are laws and their strict enforcement just like in the civilised/developed world. That way, the institutions you talk about would come alive and the sanity we all desire would be entrenched. Noted. However remember that Nigerians have a knack for abusing positions of authority. I think the average Nigerian needs total reorientation. Our educational system has a major role to play here as well as the National Orientation Agency. The primary and secondary schools are needed to influence the young ones positively. Provided it is not abused, the WAI-C can be used to checkmate irresponsible behavior. |

House help? Never again! My sister has had all shades of them. First one ran away just before Christmas. Second one started dating a neighbour and eventually absconded to another boyfriend's house. Third one broke into their bedroom, stole money and clothes and other things and disappeared. She abandoned the kids at school, left the key at the door and fled after breaking things in desperation while looking for money to steal. Fourth one decided to go for higher studies which is a good thing, however left with acrimony. Fifth one was a witch, second in command in a marine kingdom. Manifested just 2nd day after she came. Was sent back immediately. They were all above 18 and paid. |
