You still don't get.

The amenities and various sporting departments in the stadium in Rivers are much more than that of ikwa ibom.

Apart from the football pitch inside the akwa ibom stadium, what else is there?

I know you won't understand anything.

The stadium in rivers is a sports complex while the one Akwa is not.

The rivers stadium can host all sporting activities available at the Olympic games, how many sporting activities can the one in Akwa host?

If Akwa is to have everything the rivers stadium have, do you think $30m extra can get these stuffs?

Kindly list what we have in Akwa compared to rivers, then lets see which is more expensive if both have had the same Amenities.
Akwa Ibom Stadium might not be a Sport Complex like the one in rivers but it has four standard training pitches around the vicinity
Go through my proceeding posts before i compared both Stadiums only so quit the unnecessary diversion tactics stick solely to the bone of contention....THE STADIUM........
AKWA IBOM STADIUM COSTS $96Million
AMIESIAMAKA STADIUM COSTS Cost analysis
Cost of Amaechi stadium N24 billion = $126,349,252.96....
MINUS THE OTHER STUFFS LIKE TENNIS COURTS,POOLS etc
..........NOW........
That's a DIFFERENCE of a whooping 30MILLION DOLLARS
From what you have seen of those two edifices ,which one looked world class?

Rivers State stadium as newly built as it is, is an eyesore and doesn't look like a 40k capacity stadium to me.
The pitch ,the tracks and even the stands look doesn't come close to the one in Katsaona .....
AMIESIAMAKA STADIUM IS A SCAM!!!!!!!

Away with misinformation. The stadium is Akwa Ibom cost very much more than the one in Rivers.
Just as i fore-thought, A deluded citizen would disagree with my latter assertion.

Here is a shocker, Akwa Ibom Stadium adjudged to be the most modern and beautiful stadium in Nigeria and Nominated for the 2014 worlds best stadium Award http://stadiumdb.com/competitions/stadium_of_the_year_2014 was built at a far lower cost than Amiesimaka Stadium in rivers state by Gov. Amaechi.
Cost analysis

Cost of Amaechi stadium N24 billion = $126,349,252.96
Cost of the whole complex N31 billion = $163,118,513.33

And compare to the world class Akwa Ibom Stadium Built by a world renouned expert julius berger.

Akwa Ibom Stadium cost = $96 million.

Amiesimaka Stadium cost $30million dollars more than Akwa Ibom Stadium Yet Akwa Ibom Stadium is more beautiful and rated higher

According to the governor Amaechi The stadium in Port harcourt cost:
Amiesimaka Stadium, A National Asset – Maku

The Minister of Information and Communications, Mr Labaran Maku has expressed excitement over the quality of job being done on the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium under construction by Governor Chibuike Amaechi led-administration in Rivers State, describing it as a great asset not only to Rivers State but to the entire nation
The minister, who led the Good Governance Tour team to Rivers State, made the remarks yesterday at the stadium during the teams’ tour of projects in Rivers State.
Maku who regretted that the chances of Nigerian hosting the Olympic Games was being marred by the unavailability of stadia that meet Olympic standard, said the Amiesimaka stadium in Rivers State has raised hope of Nigeria in hosting Olympic Games.
The information minister who fielded questions from journalists after Governor Amaechi took the team round the stadium said, this is a very standard stadium under development that can be used for Olympic games.
He said sports in the present time was attracting so much money such that Nigerians must invest heavily on sports but regretted that the lack of standard sporting facilities was denying the nation the national earning desired in view of the vast potentials the country possesses on sports.
Maku commended Governor Amaechi for putting in place such high quality stadium to meet the needs of the state and the nation at large.
Governor Amaechi took the team round the stadium, saying virtually all necessary sports in the world could be done in the stadium which has the capacity to accommodate 38,000 persons.
Apart from having facilities to contain all sporting activities, the governor said it has 500 public toilets, two Olympic size swimming pools.
The governor also explained that the stadium cost N24billion while the entire complex cost the state N31billion and when completed, would create employment opportunity for more Rivers people and Nigerians and help reduce crime in the society.
Earlier, Maku and his team who was received at the state Government House yesterday morning, explained that the essence of the tour round the nation was to showcase what development democracy had been able to provide for Nigerians, stressing, that it provides a forum for Nigerians to ask leaders pertinent questions agitating their minds.
He assured that the team would be neutral and non-partisan, adding that the team was made up of journalists both local and national as well as civil society organization.
The minister who disclosed that the team arrived the state after visiting Cross River, remarked that Rivers State was strategic to the national economy in view of its leading position in the oil and gas , and as the centre point of the South-South geo-political zone.
Among the projects visited yesterday in the state by the Good Governance Tour Team were the monorail, Kelsey Harrison Hospital, the Dental & Maxillo Facial Hospital, Ada George Road, a Federal Government Road being constructed by the state as well as Obiri Ikwerre Inter change on East-West Road, another Federal Government concern also being handled by the state.
Other projects visited were ongoing projects at the University of Port Harcourt including the Cancer Treatment Centre at University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Syringe Manufacturing Plant, start-owned Primary Health centre at Abalama in Asari Toru Local Government Area, Fish farm in Buguma, new public schools and health centres constructed by the present administration.

Edit your comment: Akwa United leading by a goal to nil. Goal was a freekick, a very good one at that
Akwa United have two of the league's best free kick takers.
This club has been a good scouting ground for my team Enyimba.
Last two seasons they sold us MFON UDOH, who later went onto smash the league's top scoring record with us
We also got Ezekiel Bassey last season and he also became very pivotal to team's recent title conquest. Securing a spot in Oliseh's super eagles squad in the process Expect us to come for your best players when the transfer window opens brother.
I Supported Akwa United to survive relegation and they did.
That Godswill Apkabio Stadium is just too important to the league and its image in general
Amiesiamaka Stadium in rivers state doesn't come close to it at all even though it cost More. imagine that!

Haven't you read about about his ordeal with the Romans Soldiers right from when he was betrayed by Judas, till the time he was arrested?
When they forced wine into his mouth,The crowning with thorns ,depreciating insults etc...would Mohammed have subjected himself to all those without instigating violence through his followers?
When Peter cut off the ear of one the soldiers nd Jesus fixed it back saying he wasn't meant to do so.
Please do not compare Jesus to Mohammed they are men with entirely different personalities.
Go and read up on Mohammed sexcapades and maltreatment with baby Aisha.

They should have sacked this guy a minute ago he makes no sense. Obviously if they are asking to go their club must be expecting them. Siasia has no respect for the Nigerian league, always complaining that they don't drop everything they are doing and send him their players even when they have tough matches. If I'm not mistaking this was Sokari's first ever trophy a big moment for the young lad and for Siasia to sour it like this makes me sick.
Anyhoo congrats to Enyimba.
Sokari Kingsley has also won back to back FA CUPs and one Super Cup with Enyimba.
Siasia did the same with Nxdifreke but now he is back in the team.
Sokari and Etor have been very pivotal to the teams success thus far and it would be really sad to see them excluded from the final squad to Senegal.
There z been no mention of 'The kid', Iheanacho so far. It would be nice to see him in Rio next year.

Wilson Pereira and lingard.

Jones at 18

All this players have featured more than any solanke and loftus cheek.

There's a reason players like Boschilla and Mosquito didn't make the Brazilian U20 team, rather a Pereira that wasn't in the U17. We shall not be twice magad consecutively
Pereira is 19 years ot age ma'm
Manu Garba shall continue as coach of the side , assisted by Amunike who also keeps his current job as our u17 gaffer.. so i heard .
I hope there z still gonna be space for Nduka Ogbade though, because i place so much value on his inputs esp interms of tiki taka style/philosophy.

Sports / U.S. Soccer, Resolving Lawsuit, Will Limit Headers For Youth Players by Jaypea98: 11:11am On Nov 11, 2015
New safety initiatives are aimed at addressing head injuries in youth soccer. Credit Whitney Curtis for The New York Times
The United States Soccer Federation unveiled a series of safety initiatives Monday aimed at addressing head injuries in the sport, including a policy that sets strict limits on youth players heading the ball. The new guidelines, which resolve a proposed class-action lawsuit filed against U.S. Soccer and others last year, will prohibit players age 10 and younger from heading the ball and will reduce headers in practice for those from age 11 to 13.
The regulations will be mandatory for U.S. Soccer youth national teams and academies, including Major League Soccer youth club teams, but the rules will be only recommendations for other soccer associations and development programs that are not under U.S. Soccer control.
“What we’re establishing is creating parameters and guidelines with regards to the amount of exposure” to potential head injuries, George Chiampas, U.S. Soccer’s chief medical officer, said in a conference call with reporters. He added that the science on concussions and youth soccer was still evolving, and so would U.S. Soccer’s policies.
Among the other changes will be modifications to substitution rules that are meant to better serve players suspected of having sustained concussions. The specifics of the new policy proposals on substitutions will be announced in the next 30 days, according to U.S. Soccer.
Currently, international rules allow for only three substitutions per game at the senior level, with no arrangement in place for a temporary substitution so a player with a head injury can be examined properly.
Increasing awareness of head injuries, especially after several high-profile
cases in Europe and during the 2014 World Cup, have led some to press for rules changes to allow for concussion treatment, but so far there has been little interest in soccer leadership to alter the rules of the game.
U.S. Soccer’s initiative calls for more education for players, parents, coaches and referees, and for more uniform practices for handling youth concussions, and its officials said they hoped those efforts could lead to broader acceptance of the rules about headers by children and the treatment of head injuries.
Monday’s announcement resolved a legal case that began in August 2014, when a group of parents and players filed a class-action lawsuit in United States District Court in California charging FIFA, U.S. Soccer and the American Youth Soccer Organization with negligence in treating and monitoring head injuries. The suit targeted the Laws of the Game, which govern the sport internationally, as well as several American organizations.
The suit sought no financial damages, only rules changes, as FIFA joined other sports governing bodies like the N.F.L., the N.H.L. and the N.C.A.A. in facing a lawsuit over head injuries.
A judge ruled in the summer that the case against FIFA had no standing, but that an amended complaint could be filed against U.S. Soccer. The announcement of Monday’s initiatives will serve as a resolution in the case, and Steve Berman, the lawyer who brought the case, agreed not to appeal the dismissal.
“With the development of the youth concussion initiative by U.S. Soccer and its youth members, we feel we have accomplished our primary goal and, therefore, do not see any need to continue the pursuit of the litigation,” Berman said in a statement.
According to the original filing in the case, nearly 50,000 high school soccer players sustained concussions in 2010 — more players than in baseball, basketball, softball and wrestling combined.

EXCISES EXCUSES EXCUSES....
That's all i see .
Manchester United have always been better at promoting youth than City have and will ever be. Even after all the noise about their 200million £ academy there z still nothing to show for it
Everyone z been talking about how Iheanacho has been receiving the best kind of tutelage from the best coach in the WORLD........
N ow tell me what part of iheanacho s game has pellegrini managed to harness that we didn't see in the 2013 WorldU17 World cup.?
Wadnt it under these same coaches that MARCO LOPEZ (City's best academy propect in 2013/2014 season received before he left the club out of frustration ?
LVG has been giving Academy players shots at first team matches but instead than applaud and appreciate him you d rather make a case for city having a star studded squad.

What have they achieved in Europe with their STARS... huh?

thegoodjoehunt3:

I want youngsters who join City to have it in mind that they can be better than Aguero, Yaya and Silva. If they feel they are not better and they can not battle these players, I think they should look at Man Utd for an easy ride.
LOLLLLL.....
Are you insinuating that THE NEVILLE BROTHERS, PAUL SCHOLES ,RYAN GIGS ,NICKY BUTT ,DEGEA ,FLETCHER, CARRICK ,JANUZAJ , LINGARD and Even Pereira who bested your darling iheanacho when they met just this year in the AYC considered UNITED as an easy route......
Which City midfielder can shine Scholesy's boots by the way?..NONE
If only you know how much City have dangling in the faces of our u16 players just to jump ship...Even going as far as buying houses for families just for their kids to sign for their academies and proposing 11k/week salaries to young 16yr olds.Yet the iheanacho they brag about cannot even be considered to be a home grown player.
Sports / Re: All The News About The Olympic Eagles (U-23) HERE! by Jaypea98: 3:52pm On Nov 10, 2015
If Kelechi Iheanacho was a man united player, Van Gaal would have used him in that second striker role just as he tried doing with Januzaj before he was loaned out,and depay at the beginning of the season.
But we take consolation in the fact that we have in our ranks,Andreas Pereira who was the best player at the recently concluded WYC. Inessence he is our own Kelechi .We shall measure their improvements with their various clubs as the season goes by.
That being said, I would therefore implore Man United to go all out for either Kelechi Nwakali or Victor Osimhem.
As right now we have proven to be better at promoting youth than City.
Januzaj Perriera Lingard and even the 18 year old Cameron Borthwick Jackson
who surprisingly came in for Rojo atat LEFT BACK when we were just 1-- 0 up against West Brom. Can you imagine...what manner of faith was that?
60" 1--0 up West brom brings in BERAHINO And LVG responds by bringing in an 18yr old CBJ into the LEFT BACK Position with Phil Joned still on the bench st that time .

No doubt vangaal has shown more faith in youth than any of the top four sides this season .The same reason why he has has refused to keep a large squad like our City rivals.
If Jesse Lingard has converted that volley which unfortunately hit the bar in the dying minute of our derby game that would have been the perfect advertisement of our youth policy, because he is from Manchester.
The GoodJoe tell your scouts to up their game and stop trying to poach our youth players with lucrative deals n heavy cash.(Callum Gribbin 16 and AngelGomez15).
Sources claim that at a point, clubs like Liverpool considered boycotting youth games against Mancity because of their POACHING PROWESS .

VANGAAL UNLIKE PELEGRINI ISNT AFRAID OF THROWING YOUTH INTO THE FRAY .
Even a certain 17yr old Congolese Axel Tuarzube who features for our U18s made the bench in the games against CPalace and CSKA MOSCOW in the UCL ....yet A much better KelechiIheanacho could not not make CITY's champions League Squad.
Where z Arsene Wenger who claims man united have lost their identity?
