If you want to do upfront, your medicals should be done before submitting your application. IMO, you should have just waited for medical request.

It's not exactly a standard to do upfront only before submitting your application or to wait for medical request. Majority prefer to wait for medical request because it helps to inform you to some degree of certainty, an approval as the final decision of your application. But we have seen people with medical request who still get refusal.

Nevertheless, let me chip in,
About your filling of the study permit form, why not spend time, to watch abt 3 different YouTube videos, on how to fill your study permit application form, to give you the needed basics, after which you can then decide to either connect personally here with someone who has gotten PPR or better still ask the questions on here, for only the few areas of doubt that may be left. Am worried your pattern of inquiry can make you make mistakes as opinions on here, can become confusing later.

In my opinion, it is better to take time to be sure you are about filling it rightly, than to be hasty and make avoidable mistakes. May it will end in praise.

It will be except you explain in detail the reason and need for the lump sum wt proofs to backup ur claims. If u will use lump sum deposit account, after explaining in detail please pay your fees to show funds availability. Betterif u can even avoid d lump sum.

Application summitted in Feb 2021 but forgot to do biometric until August after email approval to use original letter for biometric.

Firstly, this is a faceless platform. Your notes contains details that should be personal to you. Next time, try to remove those personal details if u want to upload anything. I advice u take down those notes immediately and adjust before resending

Secondly your study for diploma seem quite different from your current job and previous academic history. Nothing to show the need for a course change like trainings, job experience etc. But then no application is same. The way you presented your application is all that matters and God. May it end in praise

Yes, I did prove my relationship with my sponsor in my SOP and backed it up with some docs. Though my admission came with a fully-funded tuition scholarship and a TAship from my department.

However, I didn't include my personal bank statement as at when I submitted my application because my sponsor's was handsome, and I also got another internal scholarship of $5k CAD from my faculty, whose document I sent to IRCC via a web form. I guess my inability to include my SOA led to the refusal.

Earlier on in this thread, I shared here that I got sp and sowp for my wife. It will amaze you to know that I did not submit personal account. I only submitted my sponsors account which is my dad and my co sponsors account which is my wife's uncle in Canada. Just wait for you notes to understand the refusal reasons better

summary of my journey. .

I started this journey in January 2020. Then I never knew of this beautiful home, Nairaland. I started searching for a school and researching for the Fall 2021 intake. Writing to potential supervisors sotey i got tired of writing. But in the end, one supervisor accepted ( but no funding was attached). I applied to the following school:

My School application details.

University of Manitoba: Got rejected
University of Northern British Columbia: Got Rejected
Simon Fraser University: Rejected
Cape Breton University: Admitted but not what I wanted as I wanted Masters
University of Saskatchewan: last-minute admission ( when I thought all hope was lost). It was a relief as it was my first choice, but I had to increase the number of schools applied to increase my chances.

So my newbies, please I know is money, but please do not limit your chances to just 1 school, even if you have a sweet CGPA. Even my 4.34 CGPA couldn't compete with the best CGPA's that applied.

With the late admission letter, I headed to submit my application. Mind you, I was already about to submit an application with Cape Breton University baccalaureate with all done until the last-minute master's admission. Fiam everything changed. have to start writing a new SOP, and all other documents again.

Had to use just 2weeks to do all, by then I have known niaraland and the family came to my rescue.

I ended submitting my application in late May (May 29). Then the wait began. After exactly 4months and 13 days, the dream letter landed and it was a wonderful day.

Now the journey has come to fruition and is time to return to my work in peace as I wait for the Jappa movement.

Want to use this medium to thank us all and to encourage newbies to keep pushing. All you need for your application is here, with gurus who can guide you accordingly.

What a journey and it was worth it. So never give up. it will surely end in praises.

Actually i have collected my sponsor statement since two weeks and four days but i got delay on some Documents i needed to add for the application. Thats why am asking if i can still use bank statement collected three weeks now.

If the statement is showing transactions from 4-6 months with the required POF, you can.

I got a mail from Canada Embassy to present IELTS RESULT and a year statement of account.. canada Christian college has issued IELTS waiver letter while have gotten another IELTS waiving letter from the institution where I graduated from here in Nigeria. 1.I don’t know about now but till last year, Ucalgary only consider all application after the deadline. My guess is that you applied for the Fall term and the application deadline is April 15 so you might not get a response before then but things might have changed cause the application deadline for fall in previous years was March 30 not April 15. But even at that it might still take two to three months so keep your fingers crossed.

2. Just ignore the original transcript on the to-do list as long as you have submitted the student copy. It will be stated on your admission letter to send the original transcript and admission deposit of $500.

3. The tuition fee is roughly $26,500 for the entire program excluding the general fees

Please how long does it take for one to secure admission at ucal? I applied on d 14th Jan 2021 for masters and no update at all yet since then.

Also on my to-do list only original tanscript request is there. Am I to send my original transcript from my sch even when admission is still in view? Although I already supplied student bcopy during my application. Are they waiting for the transcript to give admission?
