Good evening, I got a tech guy who removed the dipstick housing but the broken piece was already in the bottom plate / sump.please. I got uncomfortable removing the sump as what fell inside is the plastic tip of the dipstick.
Please can I drive the car that way with out causing harm to the engine,can the oil filter prevent the plastic tip from getting inside the engine. Please kindly direct me on what to do.

Please great minds in the house,during normal routine car check this morning before driving out,the plastic tip of my engine oil dipstick got stuck down the tube,I was amazed as am yet to come to terms with how it broke.please how do I bring out the broken piece down the tube,I have called a mechanic but I won't do anything yet till I get feedback. Good day, @ conyema12 this is intriguing, it might be a misfire from one of the cylinders that triggered the code,I saw a similar post on Google while trying to understand what am battling with though I saw lots of other issues that could throw up the code,I was confused and did not know where to start from. Where and how much did you buy the OEM spark plugs.

Please house,can one get a used vehicle scanner for sale, it will able to read abs,srs,transmission etc

Vehicle is RX 330 05 model,car threw up CEL & VSC error light,code P0430 was seen on the scanner,i checked it out on Google, saw catalyst related articles, the tech guy has checked all O2 sensors, confirmed them ok,though the car seem to drive well but i think issues will come up later if not corrected,please what is the cost of catalyst, if there is any other thing to do please help.

Oga Gazzuz good morning, i drive an RX 330,the AC stopped working i left it for months, when i decided to fix it,the tech guy changed the condenser but after a month the compressor packed up though it started making noise before getting stiff and burnt out.Another compressor was installed after 3 days,AC stopped cooling,the tech guy brought the compressor out,i observed oil was on the body of the compressor,he said there's so much pressure in the system that is affecting the compressor rubber seals one on top and below, he advised we introduce an external drier to reduce the pressure, i declined because that will change the OEM standard of the system just like removing thermostat and connecting the fan direct, he changed the seals and installed the compressor and the cooling is back but last two nights i came back placed a neat carton under the vehicle, in the morning i saw drops of oil from the compressor.

Please what could be wrong and what is your advice to it.

I moved to Aba from Owerri, January 2018 as a result of my job,i clearly observed with dismay today the failure and corruption in Aba south local Government.
I and a friend parked by the road side to buy an item along one of the major roads,the owner of the shop placed a parking permit on the vehicle,immediately we entered the shop,we saw a hilux with naval officers and a small bus loaded with touts,they unscrewed the vehicle plate number and alledged it was wrong parking.
We confirmed the permit was genuine from thr LGA.
I have a couple of questions.

1. What determines a vehicle parked wrongly when there are no vehicles parked on the other side of the road.
2.Why would Aba south LGA issue a parking permit that its staff will not honour.
3.Using military or police for Government revenue collection is it legal.

Please those living in Aba and Lawyers in the house should assist.

I stay in Aba,i have bought used, new tie rod and ball joints, it doesn't stay upto 3 months and the thud like noise while climbing an inclination or on a rough road, while applling brake suddenly and the movement of steering wheel while on a rough road resurfaces.please where can i buy OEM ball joint and tie rods for Rx330.

Please assist me,i have an RX330 FWD, the vehicle makes a humming sound while accelarating and decelarating, it vibrates around 2000 to 3000 on the odometer, i have changed the 2 front hubs and the centre bearing,changes bow joints,tie rods and camber bushibgs, still no change, there are no error lights and codes present as the car have been scanned, ATF color and level are ok.

My RX FWD 330 hums on deceleration more and not too audible while accelarating, i have changed the front hubs but the hum is peristent,the sound comes form infer the car,i almost changed the back hubs but the mecho said they ok after checking them,i have also changed power steering pump still no improvement, i took in the car for gear checks,the gear mecho said the gear is not humming, please house am financialy exhausted as the parts of this vehicle are over priced, please my people help out, what else can i check.is this part of the issues the car has? Am beginning to see many displayed for sale especially the gold coloured ones.

Buying a Nigerian used car is something the buyer needs to be out to handle,it is always riddled with too many issues, suspension, Ac, body noise issues, I will never advise any one to try it,I did and got burnt, thanks to God that I had the finance to foot the cotinous daily issues till it became manageable.

Good day great minds,throttle issue have been resolved, the mechanic used injector cleaner on the throttle mouth,cleaned and freed the butterfly like plate at throttle mouth,used slim long screwdriver to tighten some things,and the car is ok,Big thanks to Trygo,thanks to all that contributed long live car talk section

Please my great people, my throttle pedal became stiff, the rpm does not cross 2 while driving, please come to my rescue, am scared of rewire wahala, i scanned the vehicle but it didn't show any code.

Please who can help me with the O2 sensor defouler

Good day house, i urgently need 2 pairs of oxygen sensor defouler, i got error code P 0037 and P0057,heater control citcuit low ( bank 1 sensor 2) and heater control circiut low (bank 2 sensor 2).i changed the sensors it wasn't up to a couple months the error came back.
Please assist me. Vehicle id RX 330 3MZ engine 05 model Am currently in Aba

@ op your engine has 5W30 as the recommended engine oil,use mobil 1 extended performance 5W30,it should be ok.
I was using mobil 1 until a friend introduced Mannol 5W30 to me,i switched over still got good performance with mannol which is cheaper than Mobil 1.

@whynow,i had same problem with my RX 330 O5,it grew worse over time,the mecho suspected a bunch of parts in the engine that has gone bad as the culprit.I detest having theatricals with mechanics, I had to change the engine.

The days when car talk section used to be helpful is gone,a brother has an issue with his car,he posts it for help,stones and yabs will be all he will get.
Years back,Gazzuz, ikenna and sienna helped me out severally.
Let's be our brothers keeper.
